I'm salivating just writing this review but a friend and I stopped by yesterday for lunch. We got there a little after opening at noon. There were a couple people in for a meal and we were seated right away. Immediately, I noticed how well kept the restaurant looked. Our server asked for any allergies. We both ordered the Butter Chicken and butter naan to share. I also ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala and the garlic naan to go, for my husband who's home with our youngest. Our server mixed up my order and brought out the Tikka Masala, apologized and was so kind. He offered to pack it to go and bring the Butter Chicken but I refused - mostly because I knew I'd get some of that chicken later when I'd pick it off my husband's plate. Everything was fresh, tasted AMAZING and bursted with flavors! Both the dishes were well seasoned, creamy and had the right amount of heaviness. We so enjoyed our Chicken Vindaloo and Vegetable Samosas. Our waiter was a sweet young man. I think the owner was present and said hello. He never introduced himself but he was either the owner or manager. We chatted a little about India and the best time to go. I forgot we also had garlic naan. Not sure why it is $2 more than regular naan but it was tasty. I could not eat all my food so it was a yummy lunch the next day. The place appeared to be clean (never used the bathroom) and had an Indian look but the health score could have been better. We still decided to try it because a friend said it was amazing and we had tried the other Indian place across tow. Have to find the best. Got the chicken vindaloo as take out and it was very tasty. You can taste all of the different spices and it was very flavorful. I got the medium spicy and it was very hot so be wary of ordering the highest level of spice. Overall very good and the garlic naan was incredibly flavorful. A couple of weeks ago i ordered lamb curry online with medium spice and cheese naan and picked it up in person. I was so excited because i had not only been craving Indian food, but craving spicy food. I was SOOOOOOO dissatisfied and disappointed. It wasnt just not spicy. It was super bland. So bland i had to add my own spices and recook it. I grew up in Jacksonville but lived in Maryland most of my adult life so im used to authentic mom & pop Indian food with authentic level spice. Normally the flavors are out of this world. Ambiance is very laid back. Food and flavors are amazing!! Today we ordered the avocado samosas (I think I prefer the vegetable one with potatoes), lamb biryani, Manchurian chicken, garlic and cheese naan. The biryani was bursting with flavor and the lamb was very tender. The Manchurian chicken was cooked to perfection as it was crispy and yummy. Our server was a bit shy but very friendly. Came here on a Tuesday evening. Lots of parking in the lot. Two of us were easily able to get a table. The inside was nice and clean. The waiter was nice and pretty fast. The menu has all the classic Indian dishes which is good! The prices are fair. I got the chicken tikka masala with plain nan and really enjoyed it! It had veggies and some toppings that I enjoyed. It came with a side of rice as well. It was a lot of food and I was able to bring some home for leftovers. I left very full. As jacksonvilles first Indian restaurant I would definitely come here if you wanted Indian food in the area! Glad this restaurant opened up! read more

I got in and was immediately greeted and seated by my server. He was kind and was able to answer any questions i had about the food. For an appetizer, i got the vegetable samosa. They were bigger than i expected and extremely crispy and tastly. For my entree i got the butter chicken masala. Which i am extremely glad i got because it was perfection. Extremely creamy and savory and the chicken was juicy as well. The buttery naan i got really complimented the dish extremely well. Mixing the rice in with the chicken masala was extremely filling, to the point where i couldn't finish my food and had to take the rest home, the portions at this restaurant are extremely well and give you a bang for your buck. This is a great addition this area. I've eating in the resturant and ordered take out twice....the way they package the take out is exceptional. Portion size is excellent and the online ordering using clover is simple and accurate. If you eat in the resturant, they painted a beautiful mural on the wall, and the tables and booths are large enough to accommodated parties. read more

The food here is absolutely amazing! My husband and I came here and ordered the Lamb curry, the butter chicken masala, the vegetable samosas, butter naan bread, and a chai. Everything was 10/10, I have absolutely no complaints with the food, delicious. The employees were very polite and brought everything out quickly, the portions here are huge, my husband and I had tons of leftovers. The only thing I will say is I peeked behind me towards the workers and saw a bit of trash on the floor (a straw and a few bits of paper trash). They had just opened so it was clearly left behind from the night before. It wasn't busy at all since we had come in right when they opened and the only thing I saw them clean was a table in front of us.
