Found this place on social media. For the ocean views it definitely lived up to the hype. We grabbed outdoor seating on the upper level right by the water and the sunset atmosphere was very nice. The vibe feels upscale and relaxing, great scenery, and a perfect summer dinner setting. The drinks were refreshing and the jumbo shrimp dish had great flavor and looked just as good as the photos. The staff checked on us but moved a little slower because it was busy. A little pricey, but you're really paying for the beach views, ambiance, and overall experience. If you want the best scenery, outdoor seating is worth it....just be prepared for it to get warm before sunset and also you're not allowed to walk on private beach. Our experience at this restaurant was an absolute disaster. I would strongly recommend staying away. We were seated outside because of the beautiful beach view, but as a wind and rainstorm quickly approached, the staff continued serving food instead of moving guests inside or taking any steps to ensure everyone's safety. As the storm intensified, umbrellas, chairs, utensils, and other items were blowing around and hitting people. Guests were screaming and running for cover. Glassware shattered, with broken glass ending up on our plates. It was a frightening and chaotic situation that could have resulted in someone being seriously injured. Once we made it inside, we were told to wait. A few minutes later, our server actually brought us the same food that had been left outside during the storm and attempted to serve it. We understandably refused. We asked if our meals could simply be remade as takeout since we were told it would take at least 45 minutes to prepare fresh food. We were told they do not offer takeout, despite the circumstances. We tried to speak with both the staff and management, who appeared completely overwhelmed by the chaos, but no reasonable solution was offered. In the end, we did not eat our meals, yet we were still charged the full price for the fixed-price dinner, including a mandatory 20% gratuity. I understand that no one can control the weather, but the restaurant's response was completely within its control. Patron safety should have been the priority, and serving food that had been sitting outside during a severe storm was unacceptable. The lack of concern, poor judgment, and refusal to work with customers turned what should have been a nice evening into a terrible experience. read more

Found this place through Tik Tok because of the views. I was a bit iffy about it because I did not see the reviews until I arrived. There were a lot of complaints of the service but still decided to give it a chance because we did the drive. We picked outdoor seating. We were placed on the 2nd floor with the view of the ocean. It was definitely hot but I wanted the views. Also I love the heat! So if it bothers you, definitely pick indoor seating. Luckily there were couple of tables with shade available. There was live music playing through the night from an awesome duo. I ordered the Salmon which came with rice. Wish the salmon had more flavor, but it was still good. The staff were amazing! I never write negative reviews but this place was HORRIBLE. The service could not have been slower, ruder, and more inefficient. The food is mediocre at best. Understaffed, food tasted like frozen then fried. Caesar salad drenched in dressing. Lobster comes out on plate with no utensils, and when you ask for a cracker the response was "I can take it in the kitchen but I will charge you" Off experience, waste of a good night out. Mel had been incredibly cordial the last times he helped us with our reservations. He has a big heart and is conscientious of the smallest details to ensure that the patrons are happy. Even though we originally reserved an indoor table for our son's graduation event, Mel suggested to follow him outside and then decide. He was absolutely right and we had the most enjoyable view and breeze. He even noticed my mother's bouquet on the floor and offered to hold them for her. As for the food - we were not disappointed but for some reason my parents thought the lobster mix was a bit too buttery for their taste. The food imo isn't something I would rave about; it's adequate. The last time we dined here, the chicken and fish were dry. The tofu entree with miso soba noodles was too salty. The mocktails are too bland and diluted and could use more flavor. When we book here, it's mainly for the views and service. Other than that, I would like to post an overdue shoutout to "Gia". She is a hidden gem and a diamond in the rough. She is simply busing the tables but our family unanimously believes that her professionalism, attentiveness and kindness deserve her a spot on the waitstaff. She is gregarious, engaging and humble. Food was horrible. The steak was unchewable the riceballs were definitely refried in old oil. The cauliflower steak wasn't prepared correctly & the sauce tasted like watered down ketchup. Service was horrible. We didn't get our entrees until 2 hours later forcing us to order more bread! They charged $40 for bread for 4 little loaves of bread. Not garlic bread or cheese bread or anything special. Just bread! Dessert was awful. No coffee was offered & the warm brownie with ice cream was COLD. I sent the brownie back to be reheated & it came back the same way. What a disaster. The view is a beach & pretty but the food sucked big time. Do Not go to this place to eat!!! I decided to give this restaurant a try because it is beach front and it seemed nice. I saw pictures of a burger that they have in their menu and figured that after our meal we would take pictures on the beach and then head home. I was soo wrong! - First, the restaurant does not have access to the beach, so you will see it but not be able to go anywhere near it. - second, there was no burger in the diner menu whatsoever. - third, food is gross! The flavor. The texture. The portions are super small. The price is not worth the meal at all. We ordered, - a lobster bisque soup, 3 penny size pieces of lobster over a sauce that tasted like chef Boyardee. = $15 - Fried Calamari, or should I say, fried breading in a desert plate. =$25 - Salmon with wild rice, the sides were not allowed to be changed, so we order a side of mashed potatoes to go with it. = $38 + $12 - Caught of the day, which was a filet of a fish (forgot the name) with seasonal vegetables, this was actually very good and the only thing I recommend. = $45 - Lobster Roll with French fries, montauk style. This was okay, the fries were soaked in oil and the bun tasted old and hard. The lobster itself was okay. Would not get again or recommend, especially for $45, nope! The problem: My lobster roll had a piece of the hardest part of the shell. As I bit down into my roll, I bit something that I swore cracked my tooth, as it hurt and automatically felt something very hard in my mouth. The piece of lobster shell also cut my lip on the inside of how big and sharp it was. Their resolution: - "oh we apologize, but at least you know you're getting real lobster" - from the direct manager. "Oh I'm sorry, I'll speak to my manager" from the server, then proceeded to add 20% tip to herself on the bill for a small party of 3. (BTW, the server was very nice and polite, removed the tip after we brought it up. But it was not a mistake how she tried to play it out, she knew I was upset about my hurt lip and wanted to ensure she got tipped well.) read more

Sat at outside sushi bar on a Friday night. Does this place understand food safety? The bar was disgusting, too many server trays, misc containers, etc right next to the sushi prep table. Let me start this review by saying the food, drinks & ambience were incredible, also our waitress was attentive and great. However the front of the house manager on the other hand needs to find a different career. We arrived at 12:40 PM a little early for a 1:00 PM reservation for 6 people. First the hostess can't find our reservation and starts making us pull up proof on our phone and mind you the restaurant is empty not busy at all. We didn't have email or text proof but we had a voicemail from the same exact hostess calling a day prior confirming our reservation. At this point this is where for the front of the house manager butts in. He was absolutely rude and disrespectful to us right from the start not believing we even had a reservation. When he finally agrees to seat us he says "your reservation is for 6 people there are only 4 of you here" and then says "your going to have to wait until your entire party is here before we can seat you, it's policy and we won't allow you to hold a table". I can understand not wanting to seat us until our entire party is here if we didn't have a reservation but we had a reservation and we weren't holding tables. We wanted to be seated to start ordering drinks and appetizers, our other 2 party members were stuck in a little traffic. Finally after pleading and going back and forth he sat us before the rest of our party got there. He was rude, dismissive & shady. We weren't seated at the table that we requested in our reservation because they lost the reservation so they had no proof we requested a specific table and when we asked to go to that table we wanted he said "nope it's already reserved for another party", and the reason I said he was shady was because I saw him take a cash tip from the party he sat there. So I guess at this restaurant if you throw the front of the house manager a $20 you will get a good table. I also witnessed this manager yelling at servers and treating his staff poorly. So although the food was good I will not be coming back if this manager is running things. Lastly, it was a member of our groups birthday and we let the hostess and FOH manager know and they didn't care or do anything for us. read more

Went here for my birthday and enjoyed the most beautiful sunset dinner. Once we arrived we valet our car and we were greeted by some of the sweetest staff. You can tell the inside dining area was recently renovated and it looks so beautiful now! We had to wait for our party to arrive to be seated, so we sat at the bar upstairs and ordered some drinks. I ordered a spicy Paloma and it was really good. Once my whole party arrived, we were seated outside and at a big round table with an amazing view of the beach. Food overall was good. I went with my family for dinner last week and we sat outside during sunset and it was the most perfect evening. The sunsets are so beautiful here that everyone scrambles for a good picture. ADRIANA our server was a very engaging young lady that made us feel welcomed & explained menu choices & offered to have the bar create a mocktail that turned out to be most delicious & refreshing also the lychee rose martini was tasty & strong. We had the crab cake & calamari for appetizers & they were EXCELLENT.... real crab meat no fillers. Our entrees the fresh catch was red snapper with a rice pilaf & green beans & the Ocean's pasta... I only have 3 words FAB U LOUS. Not that we had any room but we shared the chocolate molten cake with ice cream & Adriana put a candle on the desert & sang Happy Birthday to me. The only thing that was wrong this day was the weather was not nice enough to dine outdoors. But we will be back so we can take advantage of the beautiful view as we dine on an incredible meal.
