House rose was fine. I did the $35 prix fix for lunch

I'm local. I had high hopes for the Restaurant. Wild Honey decided to try their prefix $35 appetizer with a main with a glass of wine. I ordered what was supposed to be seafood ceviche, which was probably the worst thing I've ever had in a seafood dish, 80% tomatoes, microscopic bits of some shrimp and maybe something else. Just awful. I can see why the staff never asked if that was to any satisfaction. Now on the other hand, the blackened fish sandwich was excellent, large, much larger than expected. The salad it came with was way overdressed with some type of sweet vinaigrette or something not exciting. By the way, the chips that are served with the ceviche were fine. Perhaps we'll try it again sometime in the future, but not a fan currently. Or maybe just stick to a simple fish sandwich. To the team at wild honey as a local place, you should be doing much better with focus on seafood based on oyster Bay. Why put a dish like that's the issue on the menu if you don't want to execute it

Lobster spring rolls & beet & brussel salad

I sat outside with a friend when they had just opened. The food was delicious! Lobster spring rolls 5/5. It was more of an egg roll than a spring roll. Beet & Brussels salad was the best. 5/5!! Tuna tower was just ok! 3/5. Had the double pork chop that was very good. Also the shrimp with hoisin sauce tasted very clean very fresh. Missing a star because the service was so slow! Had to keep getting the attention of our waitress. Never asked one time if our food was good & did not give us serving utensils for our 3 appetizers. However I would go back for the food!

Grilled Double Cut Pork Chop with sweet potatoes absolutely delicious!

I've had this place bookmarked for a few years now and finally stopped in to dine. After reviewing the menu and yelp reviews decided to try their grilled double cut pork chop and wow! This dish was delicious! I'm so happy I listened to reviews and ordered it. Everything worked so well with this dish! My husband ordered their bouillabaisse which he said was okay. I saw they had a butterscotch bread pudding so I had to try it and I'm so happy I did! Absolutely delicious! I look forward to coming back and trying other options.

A gem In oyster bay. Been missing wild honey since they closed a location In port. Unfortunately because of distance to this location it's not one of our go to choices when we're going out for dinner. But each time we go we say why don't we go more often. The food and service is that good. As weather gets nicer I'm sure we will be coming more often. We always start with 2 martinis and probably one of our favorite apps anywhere the skillet roasted mussels. While I like mussels the way wild honey prepares them they take them to another level. Restaurant always has great specials each night that are usually amazing choices.

This Wild Honey can stay in the wild. I have heard rave reviews from friends about Wild Honey so I went here thinking the food, service, and ambience was going to be amazing and for the food portion it fell flat. This restaurant is nestled in the town of oyster bay and on the more expensive higher end side with a great ambience and outdoor space which is great for a date. The service here is also very good and our server was great and fast! However when it came to the food it was a quality control disaster. I hope it was because the kitchen was understaffed and the food they gave us was not the norm. I was with a decent size group and the mussels were burnt to a crisp literally the shells were charred and crumbling, the shrimp tasted spoiled rotten, and my steak that was supposed to be medium rare was medium well. For the other food that we ordered it was ok, the fish taco was the best thing here. I rarely send a dish back unless it is absolutely disgusting and inedible and that's what we had. If I was the chef I would be embarrassed for how bad the food quality was. I hope the experience i had is not the normal experience of patrons currently and I hope they improve the quality control of the food that comes out of the kitchen because it was unacceptable and if you are serving spoiled food you can get customers sick. In short: - Great Ambience - Great Servers - Food Quality was bad and overpriced based on my experience

Incredibly, though I worked 2 blocks away for 7 years and frequently visit OB, I do not recall dining in Wild Honey...and wonder, why not ? For some reason, I always thought that it was another outpost of Wild Fig...I don't know, more recently the menu just didn't seem very exciting.. After this visit, I am eager to return again and again, if only for the fabulous French Martini that was expertly shaken, perfectly poured to the rim. The menu is not huge but offers a variety of selections. I found it interesting that there is not a burger listed, perhaps because the price point would be lower than seems typical for entrees. After reading several reviews recommending the Grilled Double cut pork chop, I went with that and it was delicious, Lee can write a review on the half that he will reheat today for lunch. My friend had the Filet and we were too engrossed in our cocktails and conversation for me to notice anything other than she seemed to enjoy it. Mussels to begin with were baked dry, interesting..Hot ! watch your fingers. Incredibly romantic, lots of warmth, cozy..friendly..I can't wait to return with Lee.

Food is delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance of the place can be casual or formal, as it can be approached from either angle.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was exceptional, server was knowledgeable!!

Wanted Oysters so badly so we went to Teddy Roosevelt Beach for some and an ice cold pacifico from The Sand Box. Well for some crazy reason they were closed . So we took a ride across the causeway and landed up at Shultey's and upon arriving and waiting for 2 minutes with wait staff passing us by left and right finally barkeep says sorry we don't open until 5. Ummm couldn't you have told us that immediately?? Well anyway I decided we leave the car and walk to The Clam Bar @ the bridge and I am so glad we did. I haven't been here in forever. The kids who are out front running this are superb. Each kid was so polite and totally on point. Hot from the walk we were given two cups of ice water which hit the spot. We ordered 2 IPA's and they were delicious . To start we got the seafood sampler- 4 oysters, 4 little necks and 3 jumbo shrimp cocktails omg so good and fresh as can be. Next up were another 6 little necks with a cold seafood salad which was served ice cold in a lettuce boat with shrimp, baby scallops, calamari, celery and onion and that absolutely blew us away. To cap it off we got fish and chips and this might have been some of the best I've ever had. The fish was light, airy and the crust was perfect, not greasy and 3 huge pieces. The chips were beer battered and sprinkled with paprika imo and they were fabulous. We left for the walk back with full belly's, a little sun and a jar of fresh pickles from @Nickypickles and we couldn't be happier.

Went there tonight and the food was not good and cost $150+ for three people. Slow service. I know…read moregood waterfront dining is not easy to find on Long Island but this is a one & done for me... go elsewhere

We opted for the 4 course pre-fixe for $105 which includes two appetizers, entree and dessert. We had oysters, bucatini with clams, cheese board and roasted mushrooms for apps, all good. Is it the delicious food? Maybe the sophisticated yet sleek ambiance. I don't know what it is, but they got it and I love it. And I love showing them off to others. On a cold Tuesday night, it was pretty empty. I really hope the summer months are better to them. The table-side bread basket was amazing. We each got to pick which sort of bread we wanted. There was sourdough, focaccia and others. I went with the focaccia and never looked back. Burrata and beets, Brussels sprouts and salmon that was cooked perfectly was enjoyed while the specialty cocktails were sipped. We had all the attention of the staff being the only diners in there. It was such lovely time I'm going to make sure I don't wait to long to go back.
