From the moment we arrived, the service was top-tier. Every team member, from the servers to management, was incredibly attentive and genuinely welcoming. The ambiance was absolutely perfect, creating such a comfortable and stylish vibe. And the food? Phenomenal. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Huge shoutout to Bryan, Olivia, Daniella, Maya, and Victoria, thank you all for going above and beyond to make our night special. We felt so well taken care of. We'll definitely be back!

I really liked the vibes here. Sitting right on the golf course on the north shore of Long Island in the summer just feels great. I love looking out in to the sound as well. Service was pretty slow but the food was outrageously good.

Beautiful entryway that sets a welcoming tone right from the start. We were greeted immediately and seated, even though we were waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. The staff thoughtfully offered the choice of tap or sparkling water, which was a nice touch. Service was a bit on the slow side, but everyone we interacted with was lovely and attentive. We ordered the wedge salad to start, and it was impressively large and crisp. The oven-roasted chicken, spatchcocked and mostly deboned, was flavorful and cooked well. It came with a side of rich mushroom risotto and perfectly tender string beans. Overall, a pleasant dining experience that balanced good food and a warm ambiance. Just be prepared for a slightly leisurely pace--they're only open a few weeks and need to work out the kinks.

Beautiful view of course!! Went for dinner on a week night. The clams oreganata were delicious! Whole sweet clams great crunchy topping. The macadamia crusted salmon was delicious. The CHICKEN MARSALA was amazing!! The chicken was moist and juicy! Better than I have ever had anywhere! We ordered from the price fixe menu so of course had to get dessert. The pistachio crème brûlée was ok.... I like regular Crème brûlée . The warm chocolate cake was delicious!! Services was great! Highly recommended!!!

My family and I came here to dine recently. The indoors is still under construction so it is outdoor/patio seating only, which was totally fine for me because the weather was decent and it has a beautiful view of the golf course and beach in the distant background. We had a reservation, but based on the traffic when we went, I do not think it's imperative to have a reservation. The menu here is similar to that of Brass Rail, but with minor adjustments. For example: here, they had stuffed squash blossoms while Brass Rail had stuffed zucchini blossoms. Both had a Mezcal-inspired cocktails. I liked the flavor combinations at The Marker better. I ordered a Bacon Cheese Burger off their specialty menu and it was delicious. Very generous bacon portion and toppings. The red onion...I'm couldn't pinpoint what they did to it, but it wasn't overly potent like onions usually are. When we arrived, we were seated and greeted immediately. We started off with a lady server, but there was another server named Juan who took good care of us. We were initially seated under an umbrella, but once it started sprinkling, Juan came over to move us immediately to underneath the awning. Good thing he did because 10 minutes later, it started pouring. He was extremely apologetic about not seating us under the awning to start. He was extremely helpful, friendly, and kind. Thank you Juan! Service was fast - cleared the table quickly, kept the water cups full, quick refills, we hardly waited for our food/drinks - until it rained. Then a lot of the staff disappeared and Juan was the one who took care of us. Ha.

This is one of our favorite go to spots. Food is consistent and delicious. Servers are wonderful. Ambience and views are amazing! We like to play tennis and go for lunch here after. A lot of people frequent after playing golf. It feels like belonging to a country club but with better food and no membership fees! Our favorite menu items here are the shrimp lettuce wraps, salmon tacos, corn soup, and whatever special fish they have is always amazing!

    Private Event - Baby Shower

The Marker hosted and catered my wife's baby shower this weekend and it couldn't have gone any better! With the help of the very friendly manager Eric, we were able to comb through their endless menu packages that fulfilled our every need. They made sure to give us plenty of time to decorate our private seating area prior to our event date. Due to their very generous and welcoming staff, all of our guest were all welcomed and greatly accommodated. Our guests continue to rave about their delicious food and drinks and all wanted to stay for dinner. Overall, our whole experience was unforgettable and 10/10, definitely recommend if you're looking to host your next private event here.

I'm back and better than before…read more We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, which was creamy, rich, and served with perfectly crisp chips. The shishito peppers were blistered just right with great flavor and a little kick. Simple, but done well. The smash burger was the standout. Cooked perfectly with a great sear, juicy inside, and topped with melty cheese and pickles that balanced everything. Add the truffle fries and it was game over. Crispy, flavorful, and generously seasoned. The Greek salad was fresh and bright, with good quality feta and olives. A solid, refreshing balance to the heavier dishes. Service was exceptional. Attentive without hovering. The decor is warm and stylish, great energy without being too loud.

The free bread is good and they did give us more when we asked for it. It also came with some olives which my husband loved. The corn muffins were also great. The mojito was only mediocre and the Guinness ok. The filet mignon and branzino and accompaniments were very good quality, with the steak and fish perfectly cooked as we ordered them. The sauces though were bland and uninteresting. The lava fudge cake didn't have real fudge and the cake tasted stale. The ambiance was very nice though and the seating comfortable with booths and comfortable chairs. Overall fun nicely decorated spot but don't think I'd go again.

I don't like the fact that you have to place the order of your food and pay right away before the food even arrives. You have to go and order your own drinks and get them at a different location. Sodas and alcohol at one location while kids drinks at another? Yeah, not good. I have to go get things myself and you want me to give you a tip...? The food was not that great to be honest. It was very blunt. Not a lot of flavor very dry. The kids only ate the french fries. The views, however, are amazing if you're sitting with the direct view of the ocean otherwise you're like on top of another person. Unfortunately, I will not return to this location.

Clearly, sitting here now with my family, it would have been our loss. This is a quintessential example of why we should all take reviews with a proverbial grain of salt. So on to the review... This is a beach club without the beach club fees, no parking fees and great vibe. Is the food Michelin Star - of course not. We're not coming for that. But is the food and drink of good quality and worth the money, YES! I'm personally a bit annoyed by some of the other reviewers. Because their experience was Not our experience. All that aside, I'd recommend checking this spot out. There is a nice mix of cool folks, from adults, kids, parents, etc. The service was super amicable - All around. Only regret is that we didn't find this place until now! So now let's thank the folks that made this an amazing experience... Jabar, Julia, Ashley, John and Chase! The restaurant, Gatsby's Landing, draws its name from the romantic nostalgia of The Great Gatsby. Situated near the Long Island Sound and Roslyn Pond, the setting offered a beautiful waterfront ambiance. My wife opted for the Baby Roasted Beets Salad, Salmon, and Crème Brûlée, while I chose the Lobster Bisque, Squid Ink Tonnarelli, and Tiramisu. The menu highlights their commitment to fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients - a promise they certainly delivered on. The dishes were both delicious and generously portioned. It was clear the kitchen doesn't skimp on quality; for instance, the lobster bisque was loaded with tender lobster meat, the squid ink tonnarelli featured an abundance of blue crab, and the salmon was a substantial, thick-cut fillet. The chef clearly possesses a mastery of technique, knowing exactly how to pair garnishes and balance flavors in perfect harmony. Furthermore, the waitstaff was both diligent and courteous. We can see why this establishment is so popular--the combination of exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and the serene lake views is hard to beat. However, there is one area for improvement: the restaurant should consider replacing their current chipped plates with larger, more elegant dinnerware. High-quality presentation would better reflect the dignity and caliber of the food they serve.

I don't know about others, but it's been a real challenge for me to eat healthy during Rona times…read more After noticing my expanding waistline with dismay I decided to change things up a bit and took to Yelp for healthy alternatives. I found it's no easy task to find fresh vegan food in these parts, let alone places that deliver throughout Nassau and Western Suffolk counties as does Conscious Kitchen LI. So I was very happy to stumble upon CKLI's pics of beautiful fresh veggie concoctions on Instagram, perused their weekly online menu and placed an order via their secure website (note: currently CKLI is a delivery only biz, no eat-in facilities). Food is made from scratch, locally sourced and organic. For my first delivery I got: 1) weekly special salad - microgreens, chick peas, beets, asparagus, strawberries, almonds and other goodies with miso dressing on the side; 2) Falafel Hummus Wrap; 3) Thai Butternut Squash Soup; 4) Pasta Fagioli Soup; 5) Green and Red Juices. My food was delivered on time, nicely packaged in compostable containers. I enjoyed everything I ordered and portions were pretty good, especially the pristinely fresh salad which weighed in at 16 oz. Fresh squeezed juices were especially delicious, housed in cute glass bottles that one can exchange at the next order drop-off. Soups were more like stews, thick, hearty and well spiced with fresh herbs. CKLI is a small biz that delivers locally (0-5 miles from Glen Cove) from 5-6:30PM, and 5+ miles away from 6:30-8PM. I fall into the latter area and got my food at 6:30. Delivery is flat rate $5 Glen Cove local and $6 for other LI towns, not bad if you're placing a robust order. For now my cheeseburger-addicted hubbie took a pass on these vegan vittles, but I'm still hoping he'll try something from my next CKLI deliver lol. Whether you're a dedicated vegan or just looking for a fresh healthy alternative to the usual oily caloric takeout fare, you may want to give Conscious Kitchen LI a try.
