Lots of product, and great staff, at pretty reasonable prices. I bought a dabbing rig from these guys, and had a couple of initial problems with it (not their fault). They replaced it no questions asked and were VERY nice about it. The only issues this place has is that the parking lot is scary (right off highway 99, you have to back up into the highway to get out!) and the lines are often too long. read more

Really disappointed in this place. I was a steady customer at Ocean Greens for about a year until my experience today. This was my first time to the new location. I called ahead to try to see if they had what I wanted in stock, which is what I've done many times before by the suggestion of their own staff. The male on the phone wasn't rude, but he wouldn't give me a straight answer on whether they had the product I wanted in stock. I then decide to just make the drive over and find out they don't have it after all. Not even angry, I ask the female staff who was nice enough when they expect to get the product (an edible) back in. She then calls over to a guy she calls "Ocean", and he goes on a rant about how he doesn't know cause the company "can't get their shit together" and how I "should just choose another one because they're all THC and all the same anyways just pick one already", all in a rude, asshole tone. The female staff laughed uncomfortably but gave me no apology nor acknowledged his rude and unwarranted behavior. I walked out right after without saying a word. Not spending my hard earned money at a place where employees talk to their customers like that. Ocean Greens lost a customer in me today. read more

This is one of those place you go to only because it's close to home and convenient, like a dingy mini mart. It's small and dark inside, the parking lot is covered in Nasty litter, and cashiers that seem to get more and more indifferent as time goes on. The website menu is consistently unreliable. During my last visit they had over 16 (yes, sixteen) strains at a certain price point listed and not one of them is in stock, nor would they even bother to look. Apparently the cashier has "the worlds biggest selection" memorized and literally refused to look. The website is the ONLY menu they provide and NOTHING is on display. Imagine walking into a grocery store and having to ask to see anything you might be interested in buying. I haven't been to any other rec shops with so many consistent un-addressed negatives. read more

Kinda sucks I had to park down a side street. When I arrived inside there was a long line and it was hot. So many people in a small space = agitated customers. When it was finally my turn to go to the bar to get my weed (I know weird huh?!) I barely had any time to pick what I wanted. The store is nice looking and they have a good enough selection, hence the two stars, but the staff is super surly and rude. I came here for my first legal recreational purchasing experience, and was met with a terrible attitude, like I was really inconveniencing them just by being there. I had a few strains I wanted to try, and the first guy grabbed one for me and then just walked away, and the other guy kind of looked like I had trapped him by looking to him for further help. They were out of a couple of the things I wanted, so I asked for something similar, looking for a recommendation, and he basically just grabbed the nearest thing and gave it to me. I'll definitely be looking for a different place. It's not like they're the only one, thank god. Come on guys, it's not that hard to try to be a little helpful. I've found MM 1:1 Compound at half the price that Ocean Greens is selling it. They charge $60 and I've found it for $30, though it's usually around $35 to $38. And tinctures that they sell for $50 can be found for $38 elsewhere. I came here because they carried a favorite strain- Dynamite. I went in yesterday and had a horrible experience. I have gone to one cannabis shop since I have lived in Seattle and it's been ocean greens . the manager Julian is very nice and always hospitable . yesterday I went to the shop and showed my ID to the door man he accuses me of it being fake and placed it in he's pocket threatened to call the cops if I didn't walk away . I was shocked and I couldn't walk away because the large male security guy who IV shown my ID multiple times had my ID in he's pocket . I pleaded with the man as he refused to give me back my ID . I showed him my college ID and still refused to give back he asked to see my Facebook and I showed him and he still refused to give me back my ID . I asked to talk to Julian and he said he's Julians boss. I'm honestly more hurt then anything I knew the staff and always looked forward to going to ocean greens but now I won't go back . IV never been so humiliated in my life or treated with such lack of respect . in a market that is saturated with cannabis I think it's appropriate to offer high standards of customer service to ensure client relationships. I love this place! Awesome decor (signed Seahawks footballs, incredible glass pieces, etc), iPads with their extensive menu of products, and friendly budtenders. I usually stick to indicas to help me sleep. Man, they have some potent strains!! I've gotten pre-rolls for ten bucks that my SO and I only need two or three hits and we are lights out (and we are NOT newbies). I love that we have legal cannabis!! Go for the good deals, but make sure to kick the shins of the overgrown frat boy who checks your ID. I went in today with my Australian Cattle Dog who is a service dog. The guy makes sure she is a service dog then tells me he doesn't like dogs. Fine- she wasn't bothering you, we are walking away to the ATM. Then Frat-tastic goes out of his way to call after me, "your dog looks like a rat with no tail." Niiiice. Excellent customer service. Had to dock them a star because sometimes it feels that they are trying to push stuff on me that maybe doesn't sell well. Legal weed is great! Sure, you pay more, but you have so many choices. Even during my younger years when I smoked more and had more contacts in the black market, I only knew a handful of people who I could call for weed, and you got what you got. Rarely did I know dealers that would regularly have multiple kinds. So, back to the shop. They usually have 50-100 different types of marijuana (flowers) as well as all the concentrates and edibles and such. One should be able to find something that they are satisfied with. Be prepared to pay a premium for the really good stuff. Sometimes the staff is helpful, sometimes not. Some of them have a problem differentiating between sativa and indica. I like indica, and often when I ask for suggestions I am shown a bunch of different sativas. One good grower they sell from that I mostly buy is Phat Panda. Best weed vendor around, in my opinion. Their OG Chem is up there with the best weed I've ever smoked, and I'm no novice. Problem is, with tax you're looking at about $82 an eighth. Well worth it in my book. I've learned to stay away from anything from Buddy Boy Farms. It's all outdoor, and I've tried 4 or 5 different types from them that are all basically the same. In the end, it helps to know what you're looking for. Don't always go by shop recommendations or THC content. Definitely try Phat Panda products, but get it before it's gone. Some great Panda ones are OG Chem, 12th Man Down, Lavender. Granddaddy Purple is good, but not on the same level as those three, and Golden Pineapple is great if you like sativa or sativa hybrid. Haven't had the chance to try their others, since I usually just stick with what I know I like. But when those run out, that's how I find other strains that I like. read more
