As someone with very dark black Asian hair, getting blonde in one session is a trek but Yin is amazing at coloring and so talented. My scalp always feels squeaky clean and so soft. The blowout at the end is soooo good. And look at my haircut, I love it! I was also able to purchase a hairspray she recommended, and I've been loving it so far. Best salon! Definitely worth the drive from Seattle. They also have another location in Bellevue.

Thinking she was going to get it on her way in to make up for being over a half hour late I said yes. That was the wrong choice. The stylist ordered it but asked me to go pick it up across the street. First of all I had never met this woman before in my life. It just felt oddly unprofessional. When she came in she was clearly running late because of a late night and hungover as she discussed her night with her coworkers. It's an open salon, everybody can hear your conversations. The second time, I gave another try because my hair did look good & perhaps it was an off day that first time. This time though, I noticed my hair didn't look as great as the first time and it felt rushed. Tried a new stylist for the third time and she got bleach on the back of my shirt but didn't tell me, found out when I got home. I wish she just mentioned it at least.

I didn't even complete the booking because there were so many confusing steps in the app, but the availability shown was clearly misleading. It was disappointing and a waste of time driving there only to be turned away. They really need to improve their scheduling system and communication so customers know what is actually available before coming in.

This place was wonderful! It was easy to book a time online that worked well for my schedule …read more Upon arrival for my appointment, I was given slippers to wear and left my shoes safely by the door on the rack. Next I was served their special Harmony tea and seated at a little table with some assorted chocolates to help myself to. Karen came out to take me back for my treatment, with a restroom stop on the way. Once inside the headspa treatment room, I was taken to our space and shown a cute box to place my items including a jewelry box for my watch. I was left to dress down a bit into a top covering towel wrap and then set up on the table for my treatment, tucked in with a knee rest and soft cozy blankets. The massage was amazing (I did the $90 treatment which does not have the facial). My neck, shoulders, arms, face, head and scalp were all deeply and expertly massaged and it was so relaxing! The hair washing and conditioner treatments were great with good rinse, though the water was colder at times (perhaps because the products warranted different temps for them to do what they do) and I did get a little shampoo on my cheek. I would have loved a lavender scented eye covering for protection from water splashing. After the wash portion, I was wrapped up in a towel, I got dressed and then my hair was blow dried in the salon with some finishing spray. I would say some minor fine tunes for this place would be: to improve the toilet situation- when I sat down it creaked and groaned and I'm a pretty light bird! Perhaps the landlord or shop owner can address this in time, as it was a little disconcerting to feel like the toilet was not secure. The curtains between tables in the headspa area are a bit see through so perhaps doubling up the fabric in the areas where bodies are changing (2-4 feet from the floor). The top of the room also opens to the main salon so I could hear people talking during my treatment and I prefer quiet; perhaps a way to block the noise towards the ceiling where the wall is incomplete would be an option to consider. All in all though, I plan to go back here for more treatments including the headspa offerings!

The reception team was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the guided introduction at the beginning--it made it easy to understand all the different amenities and made us feel welcome. The salt room was incredibly relaxing, and the jacuzzi was the perfect place to unwind. I also have to mention the snowballs after the sauna--they were such a fun and refreshing touch! The complimentary tea, water, and other drinks were always available and added to the overall experience. Excellent customer service, beautiful facilities, and such a peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend this place, and I can't wait to come back!

I'd come here roughly three times before deciding to host a Galentine's Day celebration, via private booking. The multiple spa spaces (steam room, clay sauna, Finnish sauna, and more) make it perfect for a large-ish gathering to have elbow room (we had 20 people) while the layout also makes it intimate enough that we felt connected. Nothing like all your friends cheering from the hot tub while you cold plunge! While the spa is always "social" so no need to whisper, I highly recommend the luxury and fun of a private booking. Aside from respectfully keeping our voices low in the locker room near treatment rooms being used by other guests, we were able to laugh and toast to our hearts' content. On that note, the staff was so accommodating with a table for the snacks we brought, a tub with ice for our drinks, and generally all the coordination that it took to pull this off. They made it as easy as possible. And on the day-of, Denise was a particularly gracious host -- welcoming us and even patiently/considerately snapping a group photo from multiple angles (at our request, to be clear - haha). I'll be back many more times -- whether solo or with friends. So grateful for this urban retreat in a very convenient location for Seattle-area city'zens.

One of the worst nail services I've ever had…read more... Upon arrival I questioned leaving and by the time I sat down for a pedicure I knew I should just left and opted out of the following manicure before they started. I understand language barriers can be common at nail salons but these ladies literally kept getting annoyed when I showed them pictures or asked for a color. I just wanted a soft pink almost sheer like, and it's not like they had their polishes out for us to pick out. It was from a silly book which the colors they brought out didn't even match. The pricing also seems inconsistent with their site which could be considered false advertising and legally misleading. Although, not my biggest complaint here. The lack of effort on basic polish application is what is so upsetting, especially if you're paying average prices. So glad I didn't let them do gel on my pedicure, considering I had to remove the polish from my pedicure and the gel manicure (so regretting letting them finish my gel manicure, should've stopped midway). I decided to stop here since it was closer for me but I certainly regretting not just driving out to Infinity in Federal Way.... Ultimately save your money, go elsewhere like Lotus or Infinity Nail bar, at least those places can apply even coats of polish and top coat and you aren't in the position of needing to remove it and do it yourself. I don't leave negative reviews often but I spent over $120 to just remove and do my own nails at home. I just wanted a simple clean look for my engagement photos and this place just ruined the mood and excitement.
