I may be the only one to leave such a great review of this place, but to be honest i had a great stay here. I stayed in the room with a queen, balcony, facing the beach. we had a great view, and enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony alot. My biggest complaint was the fact that the door is glass, and there are no curtains on the door. the curtains on the room are also terrible. both mornings my friend and i were woken up by the sunrise around 6 am. the room is way too bright. luckily, we werent hungover but it was a pain to fall back asleep. we basically were forced to start our day earlier than we desired. the bathroom needs some help too. mainly the shower because the water takes forever to go down. they need new towels too. theyre simple white towels, but they are very small. However, the check in was fine. parking was easy. they have 4 different lots to choose from. The room and facility was very clean, and yes dated but i would take clean and safe over a modern hotel that i will barely stay in. the pool and hot tub open early and close fairly late. the swim up bar is very cheap, beer as cheap as 2.00 but they are cash only. they allow you to bring your own food and drinks to the pool - but you cant bring alcohol. despite it being a public pool and bar, it didnt get crowded in the early june when we stayed. overall, i would stay here again. the price was about standard for this time of year, and the location was perfect. the hotel was fun, safe, and clean.

Okay, it's a boardwalk motel. We had a 3 night stay in a balcony oceanview. All the staff was incredibly friendly and polite. Room was clean. Large flat screen TV. Mini fridge big enough to hold a full sized bottle of wine. Yeah, it's a bit loud and run down, but you can't beat the location. Housekeeping did a great job and the price is awesome for the shore.

Bros!!!!! I stayed at this hotel and it was OK. Bathrooms must've been from the 80s back when Arnold was pumping iron on the beaches, but you could still do what you had to do in them. Trust me, bros, they handled all I had to give them, especially after eating my 160 grams of protein every day. You know what I mean! The best part of this trip was when I got a little more sun than I wanted and I stayed in the next day while my bros worked on their tans at the beach. So the house keeper came in while I was doing some push-ups and if anyone knows me, I work out in some tight spandex and a tank top just so I can show my definition and let me tell you my fellow work out bros "it was on" this house keeper worked for the protein until I packed her full of one powerful shot of pure bro-protein.

the rooms are getting redone bathrooms looked nice..maid service opened our door everyday and left it unlocked. that was quite a disappointment.. lucky nothing was taken. then on Sunday they unlocked it we closed and locked it then they unlocked it again. very strange. tiki bar is fantastic and so us Beth the bartender...good times.we will be back but ill be bringing one of my cameras for the room.

Small hotel right across the street from the convention center. They do have a bar on first floor. Don't expect much.

I'd have to say, I truly have no complaints about this hotel…read more Upon arrival Starlux was easy to find due to its eccentric design and decor. I was happy to find that the starlux has their own parking lot with free and adequate parking. Check in was simple and straightforward. The lady at the front let us know that everything we see out was free to use. Beach towels, boogie boards, sand toys, bikes, kids helmets and complimentary tea and coffee. I only wish we had known this earlier because it would of saved us packing alot of things! We had room 304. To get to the floor there was an elevator and stairs inside as well as an outdoor circular stair case. The room itself was small. It consisted of two queen beds, a bathroom, dresser, mini fridge, microwave and desk. The whole front of the room was a glass window that does not open, overlooking the street, but not the water. The only window in the whole room was in the bathroom. They have an ac unit, but no ceiling fans. The room itself got pretty stuffy due to poor air circulation. I would suggest bringing a small fan. The bathroom was stocked with lots of towels, neutrogena soap and lotions as well as shampoo and conditioner. Everything was suprising clean. The oddest thing was the small wall that jutted out a few inches from the toilet, making it a tight squeeze. The hotel also has a decent sized pool with a hot tub. We did not use them but we had a nice view of them from our balcony. They also have a small game room and laundry facilities. All in all, I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Wildwood.

The location and service were great. Staff was helpful and room looked and smelled clean…read more Our negative experience was due solely to the room. We booked a "cottage" which was not a one story stand alone structure as we thought a "cottage" is to be. We were given a room on the second floor requiring going up and down a lot of steps. My husband and I are in our sixties and he has great difficulty with steps. Also we were surprised to have no freezer in the refrigerator, no table nor chair. I had to go to the main hotel 2nd floor to get ice. Also there was no simple coffee maker which normally seems standard especially if breakfast isn't served until 8:00 a.m. I told 2 receptionists that perhaps "cottage" should be removed from their website and replaced with a more accurate description. Outside photos of this building might help too to prevent older people with mobility issues from booking in the "cottage". Both receptionists were kind and understanding. One offered to move us to the first floor of the "cottage " the next day, but my husband didn't want to leave his balcony view by then because the room was so small.

Welcome to the Jersey Shore Vacation Grifter's Club, Blue Palms. Go ahead. You've earned it…read more We had been coming for years, but this place has slipped into the typical vacation grift destination and is to be avoided. This property is right at the boardwalk and right at the main amusement pier. For which you need "tickets." The Blue Palms has a "funclusive" deal where if you stay there, they give you some 'free' tickets. Isn't that great? The deal with the tickets is the *main* reason we'd stay here. The location is also great. But you DO NOT GET THAT 'FREE' TICKET DEAL IF YOU BOOK THROUGH EXPEDIA. Instead, they'll tell you to CANCEL Expedia and re-book through them. Even at the front desk - as we checked in - they advised us to do that! (Never mind the Expedia policy for cancellation indicated 27 April was my latest opportunity). The manager went into some detail that, had I listened *carefully* to the information message (which I did), I would _know_ that I would NOT have the ticket benefit unless I canceled Expedia and instead booked directly. It's enough to make a cat laugh. That's slimy, low, cheapskate grifter behavior. To save themselves, what, $10? Maybe? They rip off Expedia, rip *me* off, rip off my rewards, etc. Why not put it in your advertisements? Setting their mountebank behavior to one side, let's discuss the stuff that ruins trips in the immediate sense, not just the "I feel like I've been robbed!" sense: * No control for room temperature. There's a fan (1,2,3) control, but no thermostat. Hope the temp suits you! * Used to have free bikes for guests! Sure they were rough, but at least they had them, a nice convenience. GONE NOW. OK, I get it. Times change and prices rise, so they put in a rental bike system. BUT THEY HAD ZERO BIKES. It's not like they're all rented out; they're just not there. * Good Luck if you have to park in the section of the lot nearest those for-pay bike racks that don't actually have any bikes. Its preposterously tight dimensions are a hazard to driver, car, pedestrian, and stroller alike. * See photo. Dirty sheets :( ... to be fair, I'm not sure I cared that much. But after all their charlatan behavior, I am duty-bound to include a photo of the vague-ishly dirty top sheet. **** An outfit like Morey's should be better than this. **** P.S. A slight tangent, to be sure: You can hear the Honky Tonk bar from the hotel. This may or may not be pleasant according to your tastes. But I can tell you this: If you can hear the Honky Tonk from the Blue Palms, the Honky Tonk will be *painfully* loud inside. (Yes, I am an expert. Feel free to inquire within). *** PROS *** : 1. I had booked a spot for Corvettes on the Boardwalk in Ocean City and needed a place to crash. But where? I found Summer Nites and from the pictures it looked like a beautiful seaside mansion. Sold! We arrived on Saturday night for a two night stay. Sheila greeted us and proudly showed us her home. The theme throughout the home is the fabulous 50's. We're shown into the kitchen and it is a beautiful recreation of a 50's style diner. Each booth has a few quarters to play the authentic jukebox loaded with, yep! 50s and 60s style records. I had that bad boy crankin' the Beach Boys and Frankie Valli. There is a working Coke machine (with dimes in a can) grab yourself a bottle anytime! There are two working hot tubs on the property and the front porch has rocking chairs to sit and relax. In the garage, Sheilas husband has his 57 Chevy waiting to cruise. Sheila & Rick are car people too?? Very very cool. Each morning we were greeted with an amazing breakfast. To start, a large fruit cup and freshly baked muffins were waiting for us. I poured myself a coffee as I was served a delicious homemade waffle and sausage. This has to be the best Bed & Breakfast I ever stayed at. Our room was the Marilyn Monroe room. Lots of Pink! When I walked into the room, I didn't know what to expect. My wife filled up the Jacuzzi and used the bath bomb in the water. After a 10 minute soak, I can understand why JFK kept Marilyn as his side piece. We checked out on Monday, we were the only guests in the B&B. Sheila sat with us and we talked about the future events at Summer Nites. Sheila, I can honestly say we had a great time and cannot wait to return next year.

Visit Date: July 28, 2025 into July 29, 2025…read more My boyfriend's family was staying here for their Summer Vacation. My boyfriend was there from Monday to Wednesday, my son and I came out to stay Monday night into Tuesday and we left Tuesday night because I had a notary class the next day on July 30. I did love it here, my one issue was not enough parking. They only allowed one car per room to park on the property. I had so much stuff with me because I was not only packed for one night in Wildwood but packed for the next week without my son in case I ended up sleeping over anywhere. I usually don't sleep over anyone's house but my sister's but I always carry extra clothes on nights I won't have my son in case I end up being offered to sleep at a friend's house or something I'm prepared. So because of my issues with being prepared and having too much stuff when I found out I couldn't park at the hotel I had a mini heart attack on the inside. When I got to the hotel, I had to figure out what I needed and unload my car and than I ended up parking the car 3 blocks away. I am not sure if they can arrange more parking, I don't know if it's possible but it's the one gripe I have. The room my boyfriend, son and I stayed in had a king size bed. I bought a cot for my son to sleep on but my son ended up at the end of the bed because he didn't want to sleep in the cot, I ended up in the middle of the bed and my boyfriend ended up at the other end of the bed. The 3 of us fit lol. The room had a kitchenette. I love the rooms with the kitchenettes. I like to bring groceries with me on trips so I can save money on food out so anyplace that has a kitchenette I love. I bought regular coffee to brew and were dismayed to learn they had a keurig, if I knew that I would have bought some of my disposable k cups with me. It ended up being okay they had starbucks k cups that they provided and I was more than happy to drink that. They had a pretty nice pool. I didn't get to visit the beach but I heard they provided beach accessories. This hotel was also located at the end of the boardwalk and very close to it. I would stay here again if I were given a chance.

Couldn't be nicer. They were through, and needed to ready what looked to be 20+ rooms. I suggest you be patient, if you can't then go home. We waited by going to get some lunch and a walk. Our room was clean, clean linens and towels. We brought our own pillows and blankets. If you can't figure that out from the reading the other reviews then go home. Our room had 2 double beds very firm mattresses so if that's a problem bring a pad. I've read enough reviews to know what I'm getting and don't act so surprised. We parked in a single spot and they do have additional parking up the street. So stop whining about the parking. Simone the manager was very nice and we chatted for a while. COVID decimated this town and it these places are trying to get back to making a profit. So tip your housekeepers. There are 2 of them so leave 10 a night. If You're from Jersey then you tip hard. If you're cheap then shame on you. You stay here because it's convenient, clean and you like being around people. The partiers, crowds and noise are all part of it's charm. You don't come here to get rest, calm and solitude. If you want that then you're in the wrong state. If you grew up in Nj like I did we'll share but we won't shed a tear if you leave unhappy. We love this place. The inconveniences are all easily overcome. We book early in the year so we get great prices $141 a night. $500 less than if we booked now in July ($635 vs close to $1300 w/taxes & fees) for the same 4 nights Mon-Fri. I've read the reviews on all the major sites for the place. Most seem to be from those who are unable to manage their own expectations. They see problems I see it opportunities. We will be back again in the fall and again next summer. We really love it here, and you can too if you choose too.
