Took my daughter's wedding dress there to be altered. The lady doing the alterations was not very nice. She was irritated with us when we went for the second fitting, we couldn't get the dress zipped up. My daughter is a tiny girl and the only thing that needed to be done was the skirt length shortened, bustled and adding straps. Seamstress tossed the skirt on the floor like it was a cheap piece of clothing. They came highly recommended by the bridal boutique we purchased the dress, not a pleasant experience for someone special day and experiences before that day. read more

I decided to give them a try since I pass by their Southside location twice daily. The service for the laundry was fine, consistent with what you expect from standard dry cleaner service. The price however was extremely high. This week I had 4 shirts and 3 pants and the bill was over $100.00! I'm happy to pay good money for good service, but this was out of line. "Love" is a strong word to use for a dry cleaners but I love this place. I use both locations and have had amazing service at both of them. They are a little bit pricier but so worth it. Have been going to Oceanside on A1A and Solana for about 10 months, and have been very happy with all of my pants alterations. The couple who normally do all the sewing were gone on vacation and they had a replacement person, well my three pair of pants that were done were not done properly. I brought pants in and showed to Ericka the store manager, and she said your right we will reimburse you the cost of pants and the alteration. No arguing nothing, brought new pants in and they did what they said they would do. To me that's the way business should be done, I am a customer for life. Superior quality, friendly staff, honest and caring owners. Be prepared for a unique drop-off procedure where you receive a receipt for "one item" regardless of the number of garments involved, and the ticket does not include itemized prices. Different than your typical dry cleaner. Upon pick-up, your one drop off may several separate orders, each with a tag giving item prices. When I returned to the hotel, my wife discovered one dress was "missing" and called Oceanside. Penny was assigned to research the item, and told us that they keep a video of every receipt, which explains why the check-in clerk separated the pile into each piece, apparently visible to the discrete camera. Next morning, Penny called to tell us the dress would be available for pic-up later that day. We had requested launder and fold according the the manufacturer's label rather than dry cleaning which was different than our other clothes. When I picked up the dress, there a=was no charge due to requiring a separate trip! The owner also made a generous adjustment to our total bill - I had expressed concern over the total price - stating that he wants to keep all customers happy. The prices may be a little higher than routine cleaners, yet the quality matches the premier New York metro cleaners favored by celebrities and executives for their expensive garments. I wish we lived in PVB so we could use Oceanside for all of our dry cleaning needs! read more

Oceanside Cleaners is the best cleaners I've ever used. I moved to Jax Beach not too long ago and just found and used a random cleaners at the Town Center. Seriously every time we'd get clothes back from the cleaners at Town Center, my husband would complain about something be it broken buttons on his dress shirts, stains, etc. Also, they don't bother to take out the collar stays from shirts and so they end up getting all bent or the writing gets melted onto the shirt. That's when I came to Yelp to find another cleaners. Oceanside has a really serious operation going on. They don't expect you to point out every problem with your clothes. They take the time to find it themselves and fix it. The reviews are right in that they're more expensive, but I think it's worth it b/c they do a quality job, especially for my husband's dress shirts. They've even been able to get out stains that other cleaners couldn't get and I have no idea how! My husband had a pair of linen shorts with a stain that our other cleaners couldn't get but they got it out! And I had a shirt where some pink dye from a feather boa (don't ask!) stained a new shirt of mine. I was convinced that my brand new shirt was done for but they got it all out! The pink dye was ALL over the shirt too. I recommend using them for clothes with tough stains, nicer clothes. You may want to use a cheaper place for other things like blankets or clothes that you don't care about as much. Also, they have a fridge full of free bottles of water which I think is a nice touch. read more

They will make sure that stains come out, repairs are made, and the clothing looks FANTASTIC!!! But, the part that I really LOVE is their pick up and delivery service! Take one item off of your to do list by calling Oceanside Cleaners. It is so helpful when I wake up in the morning and there are fresh clothes hanging on my front door.! Absolutely terrific local business. The alterations staff is terrific, customer service is incredible, and the quality is great. It can be tough for dry cleaners to distinguish themselves, but they manage to do it. They always return anything found in your pockets and work with you when you need quick turnarounds. Recently, I had a Christmas gift at the cleaners that I forgot to pick it up. They were closed, I called Mike the owner on the emergency number, and he drove up on Christmas Eve and got it out for me. Can't beat that! read more

WOW. I brought Oceanside a bridesmaid dress that my mom said to trash because "there was no saving it." It was covered in dirt, wine, spray tan, and late night Taco Bell (it was an incredible wedding). To my surprise, Oceanside not only cleaned it, but it looks BRAND NEW. I don't know how they did it, but I'd trust them with anything anyday. The customer service was also FANTASTIC, as they handled things quick and smooth. Thank you, Oceanside! If you are not happy about anything, they would do whatever needed to make it up, and that's from a personal experience. That, to me, what would make me come back to this or any other business. You will have to pay a little bit more but the quality of their work and their customer service is top notch and worth it to me. They also deliver your completed items too which can help a lot. We dropped off a large amount of clothing to be washed and folded. A few days later we picked up our items and quickly realized 4 dresses were missing. Plus, we had received 2 items of another person's clothing that was on hangers. After we reviewed the rest of the laundry, we found a full bag of someone else's underwear and socks. Needless to say this was a frustrating experience and one that didn't give us confidence in their ability to return to you the items you leave with them. I emailed the pictures of the dresses that were missing and thankfully they did find them the next day. We returned all the clothes that weren't ours and hope that they find their way back to the owner. All in all, this was a bad experience and we won't ever go back again. read more

I just had my expensive custom made draperies cleaned by Oceanside. Michael spoke with me at great length explaining their cleaning procedure. They had urine stains on the bottom and he was very clear that they would do their best but could not guarantee. Well my draperies are beautiful actually they are spotless!!! Their service was superior to any other I have experienced they even were so kind to come and hang them for me. Would never hesitate to use them for any and all service they provide. read more

I am a recent client of Oceanside Cleaners having just moved to Ponte Vedra. I have lived in many cities and I have never seen the service that I have received at Oceanside. The quality of their work is amazing, everything is always on time and if there is any question they call me right away. Recently I had a situation where a sweater that I sent there came back without one of it's decorative tassels. They looked for the tassel and when they could not locate it, they found the sweater in a local boutique and replaced it. I did not ask...they just did it. Way above and beyond. I am in the United States Navy from California. Just got to Area of Jacksonville and looked for dry cleaners that are near the base or MILITARY FRIENDLY . I came across Oceanside Cleaners. I took 3 Pairs of COVERALLS that needed nothing more than 6 Collar devices sewn on (2 per uniform) . I walked in and a Young Nice lady helped me and took me over to alterations or whatever department they have. She then asked me to pin the collar devices so the lady's or men that sew would know where they go. I called before visit and they say they do all types of work for uniforms of the Military but yet I have to show you where to pin the collar devices. Anyways waited and done in a timely fashion... However $38.04 is not a reasonable price for nothing more that small collar Devices sewn on. If I were in San Diego it would of cost me no more than $21 dollars and that's with collar devices and patches sewn on. I will never go there again! read more
