Not only are pleasant and prompt, the quality of their work for the price is unbeatable in my opinion. I never have to worry about my clothing in their hands! Photo below shows their work with taking in a waistline and hemming up a skirt that I wore this past weekend as a bridesmaid (I am wearing a corset & skirt in the photo). They also steamed/pressed my top and skirt for free. In all, alterations cost $75 with a 1.5 or so week turn around (they could have gotten it done much sooner, but I was in no rush). In my opinion, that is an incredibly fair price for the absolutely incredible work they did! My skirt fit like a glove....better yet, it was a one and done deal. They got it perfect the first time and I have never gotten more compliments on how something has fit me. Recommend them so much so I am writing this review before I drop off items for service! I was just a bit concerned about that as I wasn't told upon dropping them off. I was given the option of how quickly these needed to be turned around. Overall a very good experience. Nothing to do with Herman Jackson's, but parking is always an adventure in San Marco and it would be nice if they had their own parking. It would also be nice to have an idea of what the cost was going to be before leaving the drop off but the fact that it was reasonable more than made up for that. Worse than the price was the workmanship. The first time I got the jacket back, the fill was missing and the seams were visibly misaligned. I asked them to redo the work and was very clear: if the repair was outside their skill level, please stop and let me know. I got the jacket back a second time with the same problems -- seams still misaligned and fill still missing. After waiting about 10 minutes while the cashier tried to reach someone by phone, I was told that a "piece was missing from the jacket," which is why it couldn't be restored to its original condition. It's a jacket -- it doesn't have detachable "pieces." That explanation made no sense. I was then told I'd need to call another person at the company to discuss it further. Between the bait-and-switch pricing, poor craftsmanship, and passing the problem off to someone else, this was a frustrating experience from start to finish. If you care about your clothing -- especially anything insulated -- I'd recommend looking elsewhere

When I asked for a refund and a discussion on how they could rectify the damage, I was met with immediate hostility. No apology, no professionalism, just excuses and a refusal to take responsibility. It is clear that Eco Wise has no interest in quality control or basic customer respect. They are happy to take your money, but they will not stand behind their work. Avoid this place at all costs.
