The placard outside says Vacasa and has phone number. Call the number and you will be re-directed to VRBO and Casago, but the room was bought via Expedia. All communication must be via text or email with Casago. You cannot enter your room without doing the online pre-check-in. Only then will you get the 10-digit entry code for your room. There is no staff on the property. No lobby. No breakfast, coffee, brochures. Very weirdly minimal. The room, bedding, and towels were all clean. Beds comfortable. Unfortunately, there were some issues. Bug in coffee maker. Coffee maker power cord too short and no convenient outlets nearby. Had to put the coffee maker in the sink in order to make coffee. That was the only outlet close enough to plug in the coffee maker without moving furniture around. Our room had two queen beds. So, potentially, the room could have up to four people. There was one chair for the room. Towel rod holder. Why no towel rod? No hand soap for bathroom. Power outlet next to bed was so loose, gravity won't allow a power cord to stay in it. So can't charge phone or anything else. They want a prompt 10am check out, but don't even provide a clock in the room. Bathroom door sticks badly. Handle nearly non-functional. But it's cheap, a block from the beach, and across the street from shops and restaurants. If this multitude of little things won't bother you, then you should have a great time.

We stayed in #103. It's all self-serviced. I didn't need to contact anyone as instructions were given in the booking on Vacasa. Rooms were spacious. The bedding seemed mostly clean. Not sure if the top blankets were washed since there were some marks/stains. It was nice having basic toiletries equipped with a fridge and microwave. We didn't use any other amenities in the room. Bathroom was well ventilated and had hot water, plus a bathtub. For the value and location, it does offer the best price in the area if you book in advance.

I loved all the amenities the house offered like Alexa, cell phone charging stations, cozy throw blankets and luxury bath products. It's also a 3 minute walk to the steam train where you can take the whole family on an hour-long train ride along the Oregon coast. Located right across the street from fabulous bakeries and shops. Shoutout to Daniel who was a fabulous adventure guide and so nice! We also enjoyed happy hour at the Meridian bar. Delicious small bites and cocktails, also want to call out Zak who made great drinks and provided us with nice conversation a few nights in a row. Personal and. maintenance could care less if you cannot drive through the park without a tree climbing breaking and falling on your rig. Things have changed recently and we most likely will not be coming back. The small cabins used to be 95-120.00 a night and this year increased to 220-280 a night. Just for reference a 3/4 star hotel in the same area runs between 200-350 a night. We decided to get a tent space instead as we love the tradition of coming and love the area. PROS: Dog Friendly Fairly clean overall 2 min walk to the beach Playground Indoor pool Cabins have heat and privacy fencing Maintenance people are very helpful Parking is manageable even on a busy weekend CONS: Price, there are cheaper places a little less close to the beach Tent spaces are so close together and so so small. Our tents were physically touching both our neighbors. WIFI is nonexistent Bathrooms desperately need to be updated They have a fairly large conference room that you used to be able to reserve for free (helpful when it's raining) and now it's 100.00 a day. It sits empty, I've never seen anyone use it. Our 4 day/3 night trip was a mix of sun and rain, our camp site got muddy very quickly. And because the tent sites are so small (they stopped letting you tent near the trees) it felt very crowded even with our small group. We still had fun, we like to thrift in Tillamook and climb the dune. On the rainy parts of the day the indoor pool is a lifesaver if you have kids. Each tent site has water and an outlet for power, ours went out the second night but maintenance fixed it by our last night. We filled our down time with s'mores and board games. Wood is now 10.00 a bundle, we suggest buying it in Tillamook for 5.00. Dory's Pizza is take out only, their website doesn't work but they have a QR code on the door for ordering. We had a meh kind of time, we are glad we didn't spring for the cabins. Bunnies are still there multiplying and they look to be adding in a miniature golf course. The pictures are of my now 22 year old this year and him in one of our earliest trips staying in their cabins.

Check-in was easy even though we had to cancel one campsite due to people dropping out last minute. Staff had us go check which spot we liked better before checking us in. Showers and restrooms available. Campsite was clean. Beach access was close to site. Check-out was at 1:30pm. -Park hosts were there but didn't get in our way. Considerations for some: - Check-in is at 3:30pm. -Bathroom and showers are not sparkly clean. -Porta-pottys can get full and run out of TP. -There are large rings are the firepits. For us, this helped our anxiety with the kiddos getting too close. -Coyotes are around but leave you alone.

The man staffing the office when I checked in on a Thursday night was really nice. Not in a forced way, nor did he seem like he was tired that he does this every day. He was truly kind, relaxed, helpful and informative. And there was a lot of information to give. The record library that you can borrow from is extensive, I barely scratched the surface (not of the records of course!). Having the update of a door code instead of keys was nice. The rooms were generous in size and had everything we needed - desk for piling my stuff on, TV, single serve coffee maker, two beds, bathroom, mini fridge and microwave. Couple notes that really don't count against the place but just to make one aware - the beds felt like maybe they weren't quite queen sized but almost full sized? I don't know, I couldn't figure it out but then again, I haven't slept in a queen in awhile. But they were comfortable. Also, where the coffee maker was, on the desk under the TV, there were no outlets. Two blank outlet covers under the desk and the outlet being taken up for the TV but no outlet for the coffee maker. I ended up putting it on a nightstand. Works fine, just a weird thing. I really loved the faux-vintage mini fridges and in some rooms, matching microwaves. Location of this hotel is great, you can walk to most things quite easily. No sidewalks, but that's ok. I would stay here again!

The owners seemed to have appointed it well even providing plenty of nice seasoned wood for the fireplace, pretty much everything you'd need in kitchen and this seems like a great place for families to stay with the bunk beds for the kids. It's also pet friendly - how cool is that? But one of the biggest pluses, besides the sound of the ocean from your window and a lovely little deck full of sun on a shiny day :) are the BEDS! Two Queen beds, a pair of full sized bunk beds, all with real nice mattress toppers. And a super comfy couch, too. The garage is stocked with all the beach paraphernalia you could need including boogie boards, beach chairs and a coupla dozen wetsuits, including YOUR size! The beach is an easy two or three block walk (walking back is uphill). It's GameNight ready. Dozens of games await (Scrabble, Risk, Cards Against Humanity, puzzles, etc). Oceanside is a quiet little town (village? burg?) The Blue Agate (for breakfast and Rosanna's for lunch and dinner are both within walking distance and both real good. Looks like it tends to be booked pretty solid, but if you can squeeze in a couple of days during the week, more power to you.
