Don't be fooled they are ripping people off everyday! I asked for a refund and they said they get back to me and they never did! I saw a shower they were building for another client and they charged him $10,000 for a nightmare! Go somewhere else as they have no idea what they are doing. You will regret working with them. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! We took our RV to OCRV on 10/20/23. We needed to fix our hydraulics, replace the toilet, generator repair, and rear air conditioning. OCRV had our RV for 9 weeks and we were told we could finally pick it up on 12/29. We had a trip planned for the new year that they knew about. The issue with the rear air conditioner became a blown electrical panel. They stated they could not find the needed electrical panel for the air conditioner, but within 10 minutes my husband found the part and called them and gave the information. Most important - we were given a quote of $956.86 and were never updated once the cost increased. At time of pick up, they informed us our current charges were $4,359.69. Which I believe is illegal because no communication of charges were provided throughout the time our RV was in their possession. They charged us to expedite the electrical panel even though it took over 8 days for them to "receive" it. 1. Hydraulics were not fixed as stated. As soon as we drove the RV off, a beeping alarm noise alerting us that there was an issue with the hydraulics. They never recalibrated or checked the fluid level even though we had told them upfront that the fluid had all run out. 3. Generator- they replaced the carburetor that was only a year old and another error code came up that they did not know how to fix. 4. Back air conditioner still does not work, it blows out hot air now. Again, another item they stated they repaired but did not. 5. Communication was horrible! We had to call them weekly and the only time we were able to speak with someone was when we requested to speak with the manager. 6. Throughout all of the "work" that was completed, they had to turn off our main power and did not ensure our RV was working in its original fashion leaving our refrigerator to stop working. Thankfully, all we needed to do was lite the pilot, but this should have never happened if they assessed the RV before leaving. 7. They did not clean up the inside. Wires, Dirt and dust was everywhere, someone left their jacket inside and the RV was not washed like they said they would. The day we picked up I called Brian and explained the above he said he would have to investigate and get back to me but guess what he never did. We were recommended to them by our neighbor, he will now never go back and then 4 other RV friends will never go there. We ended up taking this over to McBrides RV. 1. The generator error was a burnt out sensor on top works great now 2. Hydraulics needed fluid and recalibrated. Works great now. And of course I had to pay McBrides for there service also!!!!! read more

We panicked and did not know what we were going to do. I called OCRV and explained my situation. I drove it to them carefully and they had me going again within an hour. Very pricy and they charged over $4300+ dollars to replace my RV rear plastic panels and almost the same price to replace my Sprinter Hood (the part sold by M. Benz dealer) was $500, the only problem of the hood was that the hood support was bended. read more

These guys are crooks they have no idea what they are doing. I took my Sprinter Van to have them install a heating system and a heated floor as well as cabinets and a shower. After two months they called me and said they were overbooked and to come and pick up my van when I picked it up they completely installed the system wrong it wasn't even connected or working, they told me to come back on a couple of months and they could finish. I had a rep from the heater company come out and look and they had completely installed. Everything wrong. Ran the hoses through the walls to the heat register and didn't even put grommets around the hoses. The hoses would've been ripped out in six months of driving, I had given them the water tank to install and showed them where it went and explained that my solar system was going on the passenger side but they installed the system where the water tank needed to be. They made no compensation for the mess they left me. The heated floor systemeven work because they installed it incorrectly. read more

OCRV is everything I wish car dealerships and other RV centers are. Apparently it was after hours and the owner, Art Ashley picked up the phone! I had to ask several times if he was in fact the owner because I was so shocked. Talk about making me feel warm and fuzzy. He was actually on vacation at the time but he still took 20 minutes of his time and helped me through a small issue knowing he wasn't going to make any money. 3 months later my RV was rear ended and I knew exactly where to go. You literally couldn't tell there was ever any damage, maybe even better than new. I had a few small issues/complaints and Art was instantly on top of it and always returned phone calls. You just don't find this type of service these days. I was so blown away by the service I decided to do a bunch of extra work that I wasn't planning on doing for another couple years. Art the owner is just so much more knowledgeable than anyone else I've ever talked to in the industry. He has his finger on the pulse of his shop and won't let you leave unhappy. Do not take your RV anywhere else. After a few bad experiences and one nightmare elsewhere, you couldn't pay me to go anywhere else. read more

They installed a sky bunk Loft bed in my garage of my 2013 Class A Outlaw and I am very happy with the outcome also Art went above and beyond as he came to my house to pickup a big sofa bed I bought and asked them to install. In my garage. We did have a couple things that we had to go over a few times but the work turned out really nice. Tony was very responsive and kept me up to date on my project and emailed me a couple times a week. I was pretty amazed because they originally told me it would take about 6 week for the remodel. I damaged my RV Diesel Pusher RV back in Feb 2020, Got an estimate from OCRV, and an insurance "Go-ahead" for OCRV to order parts back in March 2020, they ordered all the parts and told me three weeks to repair once they had all the parts and I dropped off the RV! Four months later I dropped off the RV on July 6, 2020. That's when the fun really started!, I got the RV back completed on September 9, 2020, 9-weeks later! It was a comic of one excuse after another as to why it was taking so long! The total repair cost was $23,000 dollars and more than 9-months from the day they ordered parts, the unit was fixed. The OCTV team provided poor updates, I had to call them to get an update, no follow up, and just excuses after excuse and missed promised delivery dates. Long story short I loss over 9-weeks of use on a $300K RV! They also turned on my house Batteries to move the slides, and did not plug in the RV to charge the batteries and now my house batteries are dead and I had to replaced them at my cost (over $400 for 4-6-volt batteries). Another item they claimed was not their fault, the batteries were two years old. Needless to say this is the first and last time they ever due work on one of my vehicles. I also filed a complaint with my insurance carrier AAA on this facility. Find another repair shop to fix your RV, or you will be sorry with these liars. My contacts where Tony and Thomas. read more

Horrible company! The "General Manager" Jim Burroughs is completely incompetent and unethical. It's a long story but in a nutshell, they lied about repair costs in their initial bid to my insurance, then created three addendums, the last one, one day before I picked it up, not even approved yet! They told me it was ready a week before. When I got there I saw that the job wasn't even complete! The total price ended up to be nearly 100% more than the initial bid, a number that would have had the insurance call it totaled! Jim said he was new to the industry and only had the job for four months, this was his excuse for the mess and pain they caused, just what you need after your RV gets smashed. read more

I messaged through the website and Scott R replied within hours. I was able to schedule over the phone, provide a brief explanation of what was going on. I had prepared to leave the rv for a week, in order for the drawer repair to be completed. I was unprepared and shocked to find that my repair could be done while I waited. The repair took less than an hour. I drove my repaired RV home that day. I was very happy with the price, workmanship, and effort that Scott, the carpenter, and front office showed. Sure, it was an easy fix, didn't involve ordering parts from Thor, or require insurance approval...and I think that highlights what professionalism is shown. I appreciated the efforts! My only suggestion would be to encourage staff who are back office, be mindful of their speakerphone conversations taking place near the customer wait area. Which, was not workplace appropriate...the Marketing guy included the "See You Next Tuesday" reference in describing an elected official, as he was preparing (in a conversation held on speakerphone) for this next podcast. read more

Picked up my 2011 Monaco Cayman yesterday and got a chance to go through it this morning. Some gentleman weeks ago tried to cut corners coming off the freeway and ran into the front of my coach. Since we were going to be down awhile, we also decided to reseal the roof, change out the non working refrigerator, a television, clean up some scratches on the rear bumper, and oxidation on the roof. Phew! Right after meeting Art and his crew, I knew we were in good hands! They were very nice, courteous, and professional. He took us through the facility and showed us what kind of work they perform. We listed the items that needed attention and said goodbye. Had some conversations with Art during the time the rig was in the shop for updates and suggestions. Once we arrived yesterday, rig was sparkling inside and out! The work performed looks fantastic, paint matches perfectly and makes it look brand new again! Refrigerator fits better than the original due to the bottom freezer. Television is much sharper and brighter. They even upgraded the marker lights on the roof to LED. Thanks to Art and the Crew at OCRV for making our rig look great and keeping the boss happy! It has been a while since I received my RV back from this business. I've been stirring about the disappointment of not only the craftsmanship but about the whole experience. From the son to the father, they just don't get creating a positive customer experience. 1) RV was left with approx. 1/2 tank fuel received back on empty. Not accusing as to what happened to the fuel but just that it disappeared. 2) Stepdown electrical cord missing and when mentioned..a broken replacement was received a replacement. 3) Craftsmanship was poor and when brought up, the father was very defensive and confrontational. Chest out and claiming that his opinion mattered most because of all his experience and that he would research and prove me wrong on a particular repair....I still have not heard from him. All in all still finding things wrong not found on the initial return inspection. I will never return....if you enlist their services the recommendation would be to take plenty of before pictures. read more

We purchased a used Class B RV in the Bay Area on August 20th, 2020. The purchase included a 45 day warranty on the RV itself and a 90 day warranty on the chassis. We are first time RV owners so planned to have the vehicle inspected during the warranty period to ensure that we could get anything wrong fixed while under warranty. On the way home from the Bay Area the toilet malfunctioned. We found OCRV on the internet and they were able to schedule an inspection within a short period of time. Their shop is over an hour's drive from our home but it was important to us to get the inspection and have the toilet fixed. We brought the vehicle in to them on Wednesday morning, September 2. Thomas Siler checked us in, telling us the RV would be inspected, the toilet would be repaired or replaced, and the vehicle itself would be driven by a mechanic for a few miles to test drive it and to determine if everything was working properly. We gave him the name and number of the dealership (seller) in the Bay Area who had agreed to cover the cost of the toilet repair. He agreed he would call them to get the authorization. He indicated it would be ready in a couple of days. We had a trip planned the following Monday so that was agreeable. Thomas told us he would call us later that day. We didn't hear from him but were able to talk to him on Thursday. He told us they had gotten very busy on Wednesday so were unable to begin the work but would have it done by Friday. On Friday we spoke with Thomas again. He indicated the vehicle was inspected and everything was in working order but the toilet and it was ready for pick up. We asked about the repair of the toilet. They hadn't done anything to repair or replace it, and Thomas told us he hadn't had a chance to contact the seller to get authorization for the repairs. We contacted the seller at the number we had provided to Thomas. They answered the phone and we had a discussion about the toilet. The seller said the mechanic could check to see if the issue was just a lubrication issue, and if not that OCRV would need to check the model number on the back of the toilet in order to replace it. We called Thomas back and told him the above. He replied that the RV was parked behind a number of Class A RV's and it would be too difficult to get into it to inspect the toilet. We asked him when they could fix the toilet. Thomas was very vague saying it depends if they could get the necessary parts. Our understanding was they were going to repair or replace the toilet during this visit, this was one of the main reasons we took the RV there. The malfunction with the toilet made the rest of the systems involving water unusable. We decided just to pick up the rig and get the toilet fixed elsewhere. Thomas told us we could pick up the RV over the weekend and he left the keys for us as the shop would be closed over the Labor Day weekend. When we turned the key on, we saw that the mileage on the odometer was precisely the same as when we dropped it off. Thomas had noted the odometer reading on the intake paperwork and it had not moved, it had not been driven as had been represented. We took a photo of the odometer reading upon pick up. On the way home we heard rattling but thought it was just on the inside. When we got home we found that one of the actuating rods for the waste disposal system had been dragging on the ground and was partially sheared off. In addition, one of the headlights was flickering. This experience was so disappointing. We had relied upon OCRV to inspect both the RV and the chassis to catch any issues that would be covered during the warranty period. We ended up buying the toilet at Camping World and having a mobile technician replace it. We had to order another actuating rod off the internet to replace the one that sheared off. And, we have made an appointment at another RV service center in order to have the RV inspected while still under warranty, incurring yet another expense. We paid $290 for the inspection at OCRV. When we told Thomas about our concerns he apologized and told us we could bring the RV back to them and they would complete the inspection. We declined. We have no faith in them at this point. We asked them to return our monies but they refused. Our position is they did not drive the RV as promised, they did not repair or replace the toilet, and the vehicle had additional issues upon pick up that they should have detected if indeed they had inspected it thoroughly. We have no idea if they even conducted any inspection whatsoever. We now have to do the whole process over again with another service company. This experience was such a disappointment and such a waste of time and money. read more

I have been going to OCRV for about four years now. I had my coach painted there and did did an awesome job. I still go there for all my repairs. I had a minor accident recently and I took it there. I had my trailer come off the hitch on my rig and it caused damage to the rear of my coach. Now it looks like new again they did an excellent job repairing the fiberglass. Art the owner has been a joy to work with thru out the last few years. read more

Short Answer: I DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR RV HERE After sustaining water damage in the rear corner ceiling of our motor home, we called OCRV about repairs. Art answered and told us to bring it in the following Wednesday. We brought it in for an estimate Wednesday, April 18. AJ, Art's son, and an RV tech looked over our rig and gave us a verbal estimate and timeline of two weeks once they began work on it. He suggested we make a claim with our insurance company even though we didn't believe they would cover it. We drove our rig back home to deal with the claim. We were denied our insurance claim, but AJ said that he would work with us on prices, which we appreciated at the time. We were scheduled to bring the rig in the following Wednesday, May 2. Two weeks after our initial appointment. When we got there, we were told AJ was at the other shop and Art would help us out. He had no idea we were to come in, a red flag in retrospect. Art and Josh looked over our rig, same thing AJ and his tech had already done, and told us that they would get back with an estimate "soon." We were a little taken aback as we expected the estimate that day, but decided to trust them and left our rig there. Almost a week later, we felt it was justified to inquire about that estimate that was to come "soon." We sent an email Monday, May 7, asking how the estimate was coming along. AJ sent us the estimate about an hour later, claiming it had ended up in his "Drafts" folder. The estimate was missing some things we had asked for, such as a water leak test and replacement of seals, yet it was now over $1000 higher than the first verbal estimate he gave us. We emailed back asking for clarification on some of the labor items and asking them to add the other requested work. We never received a reply. After multiple unanswered emails, I went down to the office on Monday, May 14 to check on the RV and inquire about the estimate. It's now been a month since we first called OCRV, and about two weeks since we'd dropped off our rig. Art was the only one in the office and after I asked about an updated estimate, he called AJ and told him to get us the updated estimate by the next day. I decided to give them till 3pm since they close around 5pm, to email me the estimate before I went over there again. Big surprise, no communication whatsoever. Once I got to the shop, I was told AJ was busy so I waited. He did not seem pleased to see me waiting for him. He told me that he was planning on working on it "later." At this point, I didn't believe a word coming out of these people. I told him I would wait in the office for him to finish it. He mumbled something about doing it now, and went to his computer to click a couple keys and hit print. It took all of, maybe five minutes, for him to modify the estimate as we had requested several times. He handed me the paper and told me that he would email it to us "right now" as well. Of course he didn't. At this point, we were fed up with the utter lack of communication and stressed about the timeline. If it took us two weeks to pry a final estimate out of them, how long was it going to take for the repairs? We opted to pick up our rig and take it to a different repair shop who had already been much more honest and communicative with us. We dropped off our rig at the other repair shop that Monday and were actually given the repaired rig the Friday of THE SAME WEEK. It also cost us about $2000 less than the estimate OCRV gave us to achieve basically the same end product. After seeing the work done by the new shop, we realized that OCRV had added things to the estimate that were completely unnecessary and were just there to add labor hours. One example: AJ had claimed that wiring in the ceiling would have to be rerouted to remove insulation, when all of said wiring runs through channels in the aluminum frame structure, which was not going to be worked on and in no way interferes with the removal of insulation. I DO NOT recommend this shop. There are better shops in the Orange County area, search for them. read more

Made the mistake of taking my motorhome in the OCRV for an estimate on MCD shade installation. Showed for the given appointment to do measurements and a price estimate. First red flag! Tony the manager wanted a $500 deposit, just to get a price estimate. Ok seemed very unusual but I agreed. So four days later they still can't tell me what the cost the shades w/installation. I call, no return call. Finally I catch Tony who says "Sometimes they take a long time to get back on a price". I made it clear from the beginning i needed a 4 to 5 week turnaround. With that I told him I was going to go a different direction and wanted a refund on the deposit. Tony replies "When I get time, I don't have time right now." This is not a customer friendly! Unfortunately there's not a zero star option. Here are just some of the reasons they earned this one star review. When removing my awning, they hacked the roof of my vehicle up with a metal chisel and hammer. They also pulled several riv nuts right out of my roof rather than simply unscrew the awning mount. Project was delayed. Communication was horrible. At pickup when reportedly complete, we had the following issues that they hadn't even bothered to check or notice: 1. Six exposed wires cut off and left exposed and sticking out of the roof - no caps or electrical tape or anything - and some were hot. 2. Much of the electrical in the van wasn't working so I waited seven hours for them to find the issue they had created when doing the job. 3. They had placed my solar panel on the roof and it blocked the vent from opening. What's worse is that they never even attached it! Yes, they literally just had it resting on the roof with no screws, no tape, no velcro etc. Talk about an accident and lawsuit waiting to happen. 4. The AC unit installed on the roof isn't even straight - so I'll be re-doing it to straighten it on the roof. 5. An exterior light had not been re-installed and the wiring to the roof had been cut and the wires were just left hanging in the wall. 6. They lost parts I sent them for the job so even after ten weeks, the job hadn't been completed and they reportedly will be sending me those parts. I'd recommend you look elsewhere - otherwise you've been warned! read more

While pulling out of a gas stop in Northern California, my wife took the back left corner of the side panel & the light off the RV, along with some trim. I was sleeping while it happened. She didn't stop, so I hope the gas pump is ok. It was her first time driving the thing and maybe I should have coached her some more. Oh well! No problem at all. I called ahead to OCRV and they told me to email Josh some pictures. I shot over an email and said we'd need this patched up in a day while we were at Disneyland. He said, "Sure thing, bring it in!" It was done in about 4 hours and looked great. It was a reasonable price considering the labor. They seem very straightforward and do great work. Highly recommend! read more
