Since a good friend had her cataracts removed recently by Dr. Richheimer and highly recommended him, I decided to schedule an evaluation appointment with him. Everything from scheduling my appointment to the exam went smoothly and I was particularly impressed by Dr. R. Not only was he friendly and engaging during the exam, he did not try to upsell the lens, he indicated that the standard lens would be fine. He removed both cataracts, a week apart, and then referred me back to my vision doctor a day later. I highly recommend this practice as well as Dr. R.

I am completely shocked by the phone call I received from a red cross worker this evening. I have…read morenever needed to ask for assistance from this or any organization, but the propane has been shut off in my mobile home park for 8 days now after one of the homes in the park blew up and burned down. They had to shut off propane to the entire mobile home park to check everything to make sure it is safe to turn back on. They don't seem to be anywhere near being able to turn it back on and I have had to spend well over my budget just to get a motel room for my family of 4 to be able to take a shower and wash our hair only twice so far. When the female called back, she said it is past the deadline to get financial assistance but she could maybe get me referrals to take a shower at a truck stop (saying some will only charge $15.00 dollars for a shower. I live in colorado springs, colorado, and as far as I know there are not any truck stops anywhere near where I live even if I was compelled to go to a truck stop to take a shower. I am certainly glad I do not make donations to the red cross, I am totally taken back that someone who is supposed to help people would recommend something that could put victims of disasters in potentially more peril. I have stopped at truck stops in the past on a road trip to florida and just that experience would never encourage me to go to one of those to take a shower and she made it sound like a generous offer to pay $15.00 dollars for a shower x 4 people. It only cost a few dollars more than that to get a motel room and you can get a motel room down the road and not have to drive 60 + miles each way! Wow!! Disappointed in an organization that claims to help disaster victims. Sad and disgusting!

Because of this office and the sweet, patient ladies who work here, I am no longer afraid to have blood drawn. They let me practically lay down every procedure. They catered to me once the procedure was finished, letting me rest until I felt okay to stand. They talked to me through each appointment to help get my mind off things. Oh and I should mention that they are AMAZING and TALENTED. I had little to no bruising after four procedures. They found my veins immediately and took just seconds in my arm, then I was on my way. I am so grateful for the women at this Labcorp for providing me with such an amazing blood test experience, because frankly they didn't have to be so sweet. They went above and beyond in making me feel comfortable during each procedure, and I will forever be grateful to them. Labcorp, you have a team of individuals here you must NEVER let go. First off- I'm terrified of needles. Hate giving blood. Hate being pricked. But really wanted to try something else other than medications to manage my stress and anxiety. I decided to give acupuncture a shot as my mom swears by it. I found Golden Root through an Instagram offer and decided to just check them out. They are located just off US-6 in Lakewood and in a funky looking building (think dome). I was scheduled with Michelle who clearly reviewed my intake paperwork (which was super easy to do online) and got me started right away. It was the most calming and soothing experience I've had. I barely felt the needles and she always checked on me if I did feel pressure or tensed up. I just completed my second acupuncture session with cupping. I'm eager to see how Michelle/Golden Root will continue to help me on my journey to mental wellness. Michelle has been so attentive, knowledgeable as well as personable. She knows this practice well and cares that you get the treatment you need. I can't say enough good things about her and this clinic. Highly recommend!
