I was very satisfied with the way my order was handled with Odd Designs. A couple of days before Christmas I was desperate to find somone who could customize some towels I bought my father for the holidays without it taking days or having to expediate the order by paying extra. I searched Yelp, found Odd Designs and gave them a call. Dave answered the phone and he answered all my questions and told me he could get the order done quickly. Happy with my interactions with him on the phone, I went over to his place and dropped off my towels. Before you know it, I had the perfect customized gift for my dad and it was so well done. The stitching was nice and durable and I can tell it will be able to hold up the wear and tear of a washing machine. Thank you Dave for a quick turn around and quality work! I wanted to get some shirts embroidered for a fishing tournament that was a week away. I went to a place on Mission Blvd, but the guy was pretty arrogant and would only let me choose from the few fonts that he had for his machine. I started to shop around and found Odd Designs. They were helpful over the phone and found me the font style that I wanted, eliminated any design fee that every places charges. They were easy to talk to over the phone, I sent me ideas over email and they were fast to respond with their proofs/samples. I am sure that I'll use them again and I'll upload a pic of their work. Some friends came to town last week to get engaged, and I was asked to take photos of the proposal. I found out a week before they were coming, and decided to make a picnic basket for them to enjoy after the proposal. I found David online, and asked if he would be willing to stitch a monogram I had bought off of Etsy onto some napkins for the basket. He not only fit me into his very busy week, but helped me figure out thread color and got the napkins done in record time. I have been going to Odd Designs for over 2 years now. I've printed four t-shirts using the DTG (Direct to Garment) process. Last week I picked up a sample shirt for a fundraiser I'm doing and it was perfect, I've already gotten so many bites. David D. was very helpful and gave me several shirt options. David was great to work with! I emailed him with a project I needed done, and I immediately got a response back. I needed a tote bag embroidered, and not only did he do a fabulous job, but he also had the bag ready for pick-up by the next morning. (Just a head's up, he's able to embroider as long as the bag is not waterproof, and it's $14 for 6 in of text.) Of course the turnaround time will vary with what you are working with, but I think the Yelp consensus is that David works fast! He has a wide selection of different fonts and thread colors, and the quality that he puts into each project is truly evident. I was very impressed with the finished project. read more

I came across Odd Designs through some yelp reviews, but it wasn't the first one I picked. Most embroidery shops need minimum orders, and I only needed 2 hats embroidered. OD has no minimum, which is sooo great for customers not needing bulk/wholesale orders. So happy I found Dave. He is a very professional business ownder and very nice. I contacted him about the design I wanted on the hats, and he worked with me on trying to get the design as best as it looked from the image I provided. He also did his best getting the price to a minimum and not having to do a graphic design, which is a bit hefty considering I only have two hats (probably not bad if I had a bulk order). I brought my hats in on a Monday, he finished and I picked them up the next day. I'm impressed with the quality he put in them and turn around time was fast. I would definitely go to him again for other embroidery and printing needs, and I would recommend him to anyone. read more

My company over the last few years has had all our embroidery and printing done with Odd Design. Every time we are impressed with how quick and how great the work that they do. We have used other companies in the past before finding Odd Design and ran into so many headaches with stitching not properly aligned, strings not attached, screen printing splotch issues. You many find others that are cheaper out there, but it is not worth the headaches and your time.
