I am surprised that at the time of writing this review this place has 3.5 stars as other than maybe a wine list that does not have the six or seven wines people expect to see on a list do not see a reason this place should not have arleast a 4 star rating. Once weather warms up and can use outdoor space better should move up. This place opened only 7 months ago and though owned by same group as city winery so very experienced management there are always kinks when first open a place. The place is med food. I am not an expert on Corsican food to know if it is authentic to That island. I enjoyed the tartare, prawns and even the tapenade and olive oil that came with carb course. The wine list for sure leans into Corsica and neighboring area as list has islands and mainland section. I enjoyed both wines we got but did have to rely on there somn Rowan who was very helpful in picking wines that fit the type we like. I would recommend they pick a few wines that will be more expected while still being in area as there are some great wines from Penedes that are missing on there list. Could get rid of a couple champagne and replace with one from Recaredo and for wider list of wines assume can get from one of the familia Torres wineries. We could not sit next to window as the wine director used up two of the tables for a group he was with but at our middle table we still had nice water view. The restaurant itself is not cramped and music is not loud. Will come back and try a couple of other dishes including monkfish. I will skip the tiramisu as was a bit too modern and trying to be michelin like. If warm enough hope can get a table outside. read more

Two stars because I wouldn't come back. Service is so weird. Attentive but they are too nice where it's rude. Some servers were sooo passive aggressive it left us looking at each other literally thinking "huh?" Appetizers were good. Tuna carpaccio and caeser salad. Salad was best. Wish they served the carpaccio with some toast or something. Interesting they said they don't have any crackers in the kitchen and we literally saw a busier carrying a huge container on triangle tortilla chips. Oh well. Branzino was alright. Burger was bad. The fries that come with the burger were even worse. Salmon and swordfish also okay. Desserts we got the lava cake which tasted like brownie batter and was salty and the blueberry crostata. Only half of the crostata is served. How odd. Felt like Gordon Ramsay in his show thinking "where's the other half" but again, oh well. The place is beautiful just on the water of the pier. Was told by the employees they had bar food and at us (table of 3). Waited outside, then waiter said they don't, had to talk to manager. Then the manager said they had a meeting and we couldn't eat until 5pm. Which was now 25 mins away. "We could wait in the hallway if we wanted". Lots of pros and lots of cons. Pros: view is one of a kind, decor is really nice, bathroom is gorgeous, food is flavored very well. Cons: service very slow, I arrived at 530 and staff said they would try to get me a happy hour drink but they ran out of happy hour food. Worst happy hour service. I tried to order another drink at 550(happy hour ended at 6) before happy hour ended and there was push back. It shouldn't be a struggle to be served during happy hour, especially since there was hardly anyone there. I have been high and low, to the fanciest of steak houses, and never in my life have I spent $26 on a cocktail post happy hour, except here. read more

My party was running late and the restaurant was more than patient they actually sat me down with a nice view. We came for restaurant week and got all menu options just incase. We had two waiters one was Ecuadorian he was informative and friendly. All three of us got the steak fries and it was great all around! The sourness of the lemon meringue was very delicious for my sister but not for me so might just really be about preference but it is really good. I'll be back for the lamb chops and wine suggestions soon enough lol read more

Extremely unprofessional and dishonest reservation practices We booked a reservation at OfCorsica for Thanksgiving weekend. The day before our reservation, our flight was canceled due to the holiday travel disruption, so we called 11/27 the day before to cancel. We first spoke to a waiter, then to a manager, both of whom explicitly and verbally confirmed that the cancellation fee would be waived given the circumstances and the advance notice. Based on that confirmation, we reasonably believed the matter was resolved. Despite this, we were later charged the cancellation fee anyway. What followed was even worse. I called the restaurant over 10 times across the next week, and every single call went straight to voicemail. No callbacks. No follow-up. No accountability. I then reached out via Instagram--interestingly, the only channel where they were responsive. I was given a manager's email address and sent a clear, polite explanation of the situation. That email was completely ignored. At that point, we had no choice but to dispute the charge with Amex. The dispute was initially accepted, which speaks volumes. Now, despite all of the above, the restaurant has decided to challenge the dispute, effectively doubling down on a charge that should never have been applied in the first place. This is not about the money--it's about integrity. If you verbally waive a fee, you honor it. If you make a mistake, you communicate. If a customer is trying in good faith to resolve an issue, you don't disappear and force them into a credit card dispute. The food may be good (now I'll never know), but the management and business practices are deeply unprofessional. I would strongly caution anyone booking here, especially for holidays or travel-dependent reservations. If something goes wrong, don't expect honesty, responsiveness, or basic customer service. read more

The interior is very nice and modern. The service is very attentive. The cocktails are OK, wasn't anything too exciting for me personally. But the quality is good. I got the most exciting out of them with rum although I usually dont like rum. But this one was smoked in front of you which is fun. And tasted good. The food is Mediterranean inspired. I had some cod cheeks, Calamari with street corn and seared fish. Everything was delicious but a bit too salty!! Otherwise the dishes were tasty, esthetically pretty and we'll balanced. The only strange thing was a "bread" service at the top of the meal served with olive oil. The oil was delicious but kinda hard to dip a dry crusts into it. read more

We purchased $95 tickets to the Fourth of July Tall Ships Parade Viewing Party at this restaurant. The ad for the event stated: "Enjoy exclusive access to our waterfront viewing deck, Summer-inspired food stations, live entertainment, and front-row views of this historic maritime spectacle." However, the access was not exclusive, the deck was publicly accessible and there were hordes of people there with no tickets, yet they also oversold the event so there was no place to sit and eat in the restaurant and you had to wait in long lines for food that was largely inedible. There was no live entertainment. This was an unpatriotic moneygrab that shamelessly profiteered off the Semiquincentennial. This restaurant should be shunned and avoided. read more

I only didn't complain in person because this was a friends birthday and I did not want to ruin the vibes The timing of the meal and the meal itself was abominable. 3 hours for a 3 course restaurant week prefix Nearly an hour between courses, the restaurant was empty aside from my group. The "gnocchi" was legitimately just unseasoned dunkin munchkins, not even like fresh fried dough, with parm and prosciutto on top? Why did they call this gnocchi?? The steak frites- steak was cold and the fries were legit freezer fries, or amusement park fries. Disgusting, and for the price point - insane. Desert was inedible, we called it cottage cheese perfume cake, horrible flavor combinations, no one finished. They turned the lights up and basically tried to push us out as soon as desert dropped since THEY took so long to serve us their slop trash We still had open bottles of wine on the table and a 4 figure tab. The atmosphere is beautiful because of the view. However - PLEASE read the real YELP REVIEWS (for honesty). I'm disappointed in how management treats patrons different than influencers. That's not fair especially, because this is a restaurant of this $$$$ caliber. I believe influencer dishes should look exactly how pictured when you come to the restaurant. Please review the dish that came to my table after ordering what should have been presented like the images I've seen online, tiktok and Instagram. The dish served to me was soupy, water based and just disgusting. I then tried to communicate this issue with management and show them pictures (WHILE ON SITE) and they didn't care - no remedy, no apologies, nothing. It was as if quality and delivery did not matter to them and for this price point and said "level" of restaurant. It was not okay. I believe the managers, chef and team should be aware of customer experience for the longevity of this location. I SHOULD have been able to experience the dish I went to the restaurant to eat. The fact that they didn't even try to re-make the dish or create a remedy for this issue is upsetting. Such a shame because the space is nice but Extremely disappointing service . The server mentioned they had no restaurant week menu for dinner and the table next to us ordered it . The manager took no accountability and mentioned that the server said we never asked (flat out lied) - we had to ask for water 3x . We went to ofCorsica as they were turning the shift between lunch and dinner a time when most staff would be annoyed but not here! The staff were welcoming and very accommodating. A shout out goes to the young man who was probably at last 30mins of his shift! This amazing service continued throughout our meal. Since we were there too early for dinner service we started with a happy hour app and great Corsican wine before we moved onto the dinner menu. Food was incredible! I tend to order Branzino often and this preparation with hazelnuts was unique and outstanding. My cousin who does not eat fish had the chicken. He said best he ever had. Not to leave out the deserts try the olive oil cake. It was light and refreshing. Wow, okay we are definitely New Yorkers, but I'm not sure I've ever had this type of experience, with the staff the food the ambiance. I literally felt like I was eating on a yacht and never wanted to leave. The food is 4th of July with every bite. Every staff member asked and made sure we were taken care of. Our server was Chris and he gave such a pleasurable experience for the family and made getting older beautiful, made sure the General manager, Chief and Sommelier had a chance to speak with us and give our feedback.
