While hanging out at the lighthouse, we got hungry. I'm not sure if the lighthouse made us hungry or if blasting Wind Walker's album 'What if I Break' on the way there made us hungry. (seeing them in May-excite!) I don't think this place is associated with the lighthouse but it's conveniently located and easy to walk across the street to. They have indoor and outdoor seating so depending on the weather-your preference, you can still enjoy. Any time there's food and a large body of water close by, it's sure to be a good time. They do have a bird. He seemed to be a regular because everyone knew about him and servers laughed about him. I heard one guy say that they sell some kind of shrimp there to feed him so I suspect that's why he has created his home. They probably can't even kick him out. I wanted oysters. I needed them. Not the best I've had but they were good and didn't make me sick so a win. Had I died from them,(Wind Walkers-"Just be sure when you leave, you leave me in a body bag"). At this particular moment, I wasn't sure if they'd be enough so I did order the Island Pork Wrap - key lime pork ribeye, rice, pineapple, mango, peppers, and onions. It was good but a bit heavy. I ate half of it and took the other half. I saw rice, pineapple, mango and needed it. The pork was the lacking part. My wife had the same thing but the bowl version. She ate all of it. We did order the fried green tomatoes as well. Delicious as most green tomatoes are. I'd certainly visit this place again. They had a large menu/huge variety. The atmosphere was good. The food was good(at least ours was). The service was absent at times but it might just be one of those places where you have to flag someone down. It was middle of the day on a Wednesday so it wasn't that busy but it did seem like it took our meal a while to be brought out. Not a big deal because we were killing time anyway but something to keep in mind if you have somewhere to be. Ate dinner last night. It was busy but not over crowded. The wait staff were very good and the service was good. That's the good part. The hush puppies were way way over cooked. My seared scallops, were awful. So much so I think they should remove them from the menu. The crab cake was also over cooked and dry and tasteless. I've been going here for many years and have NEVER had a meal like this. I'll go back again just to make sure they had an off night. If this is how they intend to run this beautiful restaurant they will be closing there doors shortly read more

We are iced and were greeted by the hostess, but I couldn't understand what she said so I said I'm sorry I couldn't understand you, she repeated and we were put in the waitlist it was a10 minute wait. We had our dodo with us . We were seated in Tatiana's section and she was great! Very sweet, knowledgeable and got our food and bill correct! The food was good, we had a chicken sandwich with upgraded sweet potato fries. (They were cold) , a shrimp dinner, a Cesar salad , and a seafood plate! Everything was good even the cold fries. 5/5 I stopped by Hidden Treasure Restaurant in Ponce Inlet, and it definitely lived up to its name! The food was delicious from start to finish. I had the coconut shrimp, which were perfectly crispy with great flavor, and I also tried a cheeseburger, hush puppies, and fries--all fresh, tasty, and cooked just right. The waterfront view is absolutely unbeatable. Sitting by the water while enjoying good food made the whole experience even better. The service was friendly and attentive, and I loved that the atmosphere felt relaxed but still well taken care of. A huge bonus is that they have boat docks, so you can literally pull up by boat, hop out, and grab a great bite to eat. And being right across from the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse makes the location even more special. Overall, this place has amazing views, great food, and solid service. The hushpuppies are fried to perfection, tartar sauce has the right flavor, fired cod fish never disappoints, fried pickles are addicting and for the new additional to my pallet the Cajun pasta is as unbelievable. For starters, had a reservation at 7:15PM, didn't get seated until 7:40PM. The area we were sitting in was unbelievably hot and the food was way overpriced for the quality served. Turned a vacation dinner with my family into an unfortunate evening. The menu was a little weird and I struggle to order "the right thing ". Drinks from the bar were alarmingly inconsistent regarding adequacy and pours/pricing. One of my favorite spots in Volusia - for the location, ambiance and why not for the food. You can easily find it by the water, at the foot of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. Previously I got some seared tuna, which looked unappealing but tasted delicious. Niw I decided to go for a more fullfilling dish and order the key lime pork ribeye () which was extremely flavored and tasty, with a great appearance on the plate. I would give it a 9/10. The service there is always friendly which is a great addition the the already wonderful location. You can also Access the restaurant by water or... swimming from the sandbar right accross from the docks. Parking is cramped on the property and rarely available during rush hour, but you can park next door and save the receipt from the restaurant so you can save some bucks. We could spend the entire afternoon sitting at the nicely sized fully stocked bar in this same dining area for the ambience alone! Wait staff from the hostess to our server are super nice and welcoming. I started with a Bloody Mary perfectly prepared and we also enjoyed the fried green tomato appetizer. It didn't disappoint with a golden crust and spicy mayo sauce. My grilled Cod sandwich with lettuce, tomato, tartar sauce and house made chips was delightful and the chips provided a nice crunchy element to this dish. If you live in Florida you know the kind of spot this is. It's on the water intracoastal near Ponce Lighthouse. A lot of fried stuff and seafood on the menu, beers to wash it down. Ive been here a few times and this review basically covers them all. Nice servers, and decent food. I had wings this time and they were outstanding. That's right, outstanding. With friends visiting Daytona Beach area, we decided to visit the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and park/museum. Spotted Hidden Treasures nearby and great reviews, so decided to try it. It was around 3:00 pm on a Tuesday, between lunch and dinner but still was pretty busy. We were greeted and seated by window with a nice view. Drinks ordered and menus opened. I opted for the steamed oysters to share. Our friend's wife chose the fried fish with sweet potato fries. Friend ordered blackened fish with collards & coleslaw. My wife picked the Cajun chicken pasta. I decided on the chicken and sausage gumbo - extra spicy. Food came after a bit, giving me time to take pics of many of the hilarious sayings posted everywhere. Food was hot and delicious by all. And they did not disappoint with mine, a nice heat. A hidden Gem in this Hidden Treasure!! We took a nearby water tour and cruised by this, and just knew we were having lunch there! Visiting with my daughter and grandson, thought it would be fun to treat them to some Florida waters and some good eats. This spot was just right on a gorgeous day. We didn't get to sit along the dock, but we had a perfect spot nonetheless. The last time in FL, I had Grouper for the first time, and was in love... and once I seen it was on the menu for Fried Platters... just knew this place was kismet! After spending the day at Ponce Inlet Beach with a few friends, we decided to end our Labor Day Weekend with some good eats! And what a pleasant surprise this restuarant was! It came as a recommendation by one of our friends, and I can say, they, did not disappoint. The restaurant sits on the water near the lighthouse at the end of Ponce Inlet. While parking to the restuarant is free - if you wanted full access to the reserve and beach, parking is $10.00 for the day and $20.00 for the year. For it to be a major holiday, we didn't have hardly too much of a wait beyond just 10 minutes. We were seated outside with a view of the water. Needless to say, the views are simply beautiful. Our waitress was super friendly and our wait time for the food we ordered was not long at all. The overall restaurant is pretty standard in typical waterfront / beach design. Healthy amount of wood and beach furniture - giving you that classic Florida beach vibe. They also have an extended portion of the restaurant that goes out to the pier with ample seating. The music was mostly drowned out by the excitement of the restaurant patrons - but I was informed it gets pretty lively there pending the weekend you are there. As far as the food goes, WOW! I was truly surprised. I ordered the Shrimp Dinner with Blackened Shrimp, Mashed Potatoes with Gravey and Hushpuppies. The Blackened Shrimp was just chef's kiss! Blackened to perfection! And the poriton size was great. I even shared with my friends and still had a ton leftover. The mashed potatoes were pretty good as well as and the hushpuppies - though nothing like the hushpuppies I am use to from my NOLA upbringing - were pretty darn tasty (with and without the provided sauce). Whilst the Key Lime was recommended as fan favorite, I didn't get the chance to try it because I was so full after my main entree. It was a great way to end a wonderful beach day. The next time I am looking for a chill beach weekend, I will definitely swing by Hidden Treasure Rum Bar & Grill for my dining needs. This restaurant was truly a great experience. The staff was amazing and so friendly. The facilities were well kept and all the wait-times were reasonable - even, at times, shorter than anticipated. No complaints on my end. Stopped here for dinner after our evening boat cruise. They have boat/dock parking available (beware the current is strong!) we were a walk in party of 8 at 6pm and were seating within 10 mins. They have lots of outdoor seating options and a small indoor dining area. They offer Tons of seafood options as well as salads, "handhelds" and specials. Friday night is fish fry which was delicious! Our kids split one and plenty of leftovers. We had a round of mojitos (yes they use real mint!) they were delicious. For dinner we had calamari appetizer, Rachel with grouper, shrimp tacos, foil boil, fish fry and kids meals. They have a large variety of side options so make sure you check them all out before you order. The food was good. Not writing home about it but it was flavorful and hit the spot as we were starving. Our server Bella was such a sweetheart! The restaurant is truly a hidden treasure, as the name calls out. Lots of unique signage and decor placed throughout. I ordered the grouper sandwich and my wife had the blackened cod tacos. It was visually appetizing however my taste buds were not jumping for joy. Went there with family while on vacation; FOOD: Typical "on the water" florida menu. We were there on "Taco Tuesdays" and it took 32 minutes after we put our order in to get our food, and quality was horrible at best, and a poor beer selection. SERVICE: Host told us 75 MIn. wait when we arrived, and I thought that was strange, when there was empty tables and not to many people waiting in the bar area? but as the night wore on, I believe he gave us such a long wait time so that we would leave and go elsewhere. Why??? they were totally understaffed to a point where the Mgr was bringing out food and waiting tables. Finally our waitress (whom apologized several times for the wait) made us wait after multiple trips to our table, 15-20 minutes before bringing out the check??? My wife who has more patients then I was ready to walk out on the bill thats how frustrating the whole experience was! AMBIANCE: Great location. open floor plan. BOTTOM LINE... with a host of other seafood restaurants close by, dont bother coming here.
