5/5 I stopped by Hidden Treasure Restaurant in Ponce Inlet, and it definitely lived up to its name! The food was delicious from start to finish. I had the coconut shrimp, which were perfectly crispy with great flavor, and I also tried a cheeseburger, hush puppies, and fries--all fresh, tasty, and cooked just right. The waterfront view is absolutely unbeatable. Sitting by the water while enjoying good food made the whole experience even better. The service was friendly and attentive, and I loved that the atmosphere felt relaxed but still well taken care of. A huge bonus is that they have boat docks, so you can literally pull up by boat, hop out, and grab a great bite to eat. And being right across from the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse makes the location even more special. Overall, this place has amazing views, great food, and solid service. Definitely worth a visit--whether you're driving or docking!

We were visiting the area with our pup and decided to check this restaurant out! We are iced and were greeted by the hostess, but I couldn't understand what she said so I said I'm sorry I couldn't understand you, she repeated and we were put in the waitlist it was a10 minute wait. We had our dodo with us . We were seated in Tatiana's section and she was great! Very sweet, knowledgeable and got our food and bill correct! The food was good, we had a chicken sandwich with upgraded sweet potato fries. (They were cold) , a shrimp dinner, a Cesar salad , and a seafood plate! Everything was good even the cold fries. The view was amazing! Parking is difficult it's very limited. But you can also pull your boat up! The waitress also bright the dog water!

As always the food was absolutely Devine. The hushpuppies are fried to perfection, tartar sauce has the right flavor, fired cod fish never disappoints, fried pickles are addicting and for the new additional to my pallet the Cajun pasta is as unbelievable. Hidden treasures has something for everyone no matter the occasion. The environment is always nice and inviting, the prices are not bad, and the service is great. 10/10 recommend!! @hiddentreasures invite me back

Extremely tiny seared scallops finger in pic to show size. Very expensive for this travesty.

Ate dinner last night. It was busy but not over crowded. The wait staff were very good and the service was good. That's the good part. The hush puppies were way way over cooked. My seared scallops, were awful. So much so I think they should remove them from the menu. The crab cake was also over cooked and dry and tasteless. I've been going here for many years and have NEVER had a meal like this. I'll go back again just to make sure they had an off night. If this is how they intend to run this beautiful restaurant they will be closing there doors shortly

The cheesy crab fritters are super delicious and they have a small but good selection of beers to choose from. The cocktails have a wider variety and I haven't had a poorly made one yet. The pricing is a bit off on the menu. It says $10 for a fishbowl, but that's an ADDITIONAL $10 not just $10 for the whole thing. Other than that great atmosphere, great food, and great people.

Great atmosphere and great food! Sat at the bar... combining that with the outdoor seating is a great combination that makes a great place for a dinner and a few beers! Service was great, it's a busy location! Other than that bartenders were very friendly and helpful with any questions! We ordered the Cheesy Crab Fritters to snack on as we drank a couple of beers, and the only thing I can say about them is AMAZING! The food was amazing, good drinks, and good people!

The Hidden Treasure is located at end of Daytona Beach with sand bar views. You can get a drink, relax and boat watch here, or sit at picnic tables on the deck and order food or sit beach side in sun/part shade. All good. Daily specialties include all you can eat fish fry(flounder) on Wednesday for $18.99, which was very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient.

Food and view were both excellent. Johnny was speedy with service and made the best recommendations. Will be returning and requesting him if he's here!

Great little location and view for this seaside seafood shack. Food was exactly as expected, as were the cocktails. Josh was a good bartender, and our server Tatiana was a glorious beacon of lovely light that any patron could bask in for days. The weather was warm, drinks were cold, food was cooked, and breeze was beautiful. Just what you want from a local joint near the water.

Such a vibe! The sunset was absolutely breathtaking -- like, stop-what-you're-doing-and just soak it all in. The food was super fresh and so good, every bite was a hit. Service? On point. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. You're literally steps from the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, which just adds to the magic. The vibes were so chill it had me dancing in my seat -- and the music? Perfect. Honestly, one of the best outdoor spots I've been to. Can't wait to go back!

We also ordered their soup of the day, Shrimp and Corn ($8.99). The soup was very watered down, the shrimp were tiny/miniscule and a lot of potatoes. Thumbs down on the soup for the price point. Unsweetened tea $3.75 and a pint of Yuengling $4 were very reasonably priced . Nice selection of draft brews and bottled beers too. 10 wings for $16.50 with the famous Frankenstein sauce were not overly impressive for size, sauce and price. However, they came with a blue cheese sauce that was better than any blue cheese we ever had, because you couldn't taste the blue cheese . We also ordered the Angus Burger and fries. The burger was cooked perfectly to the requested medium rare and the crinkle cut fries perfectly crispy per our request. We absolutely had to try the cheesecake from Patties Cheesecakes down the road. We had the Carrotcake Cheesecake and it was amazing for our dessert. The place is big, plenty of parking, full bar and very loud. Service was interesting. 1st waitress took our drink order and oyster order. 2nd waitress took our wing order. 1st waitress came back and took my beer and burger order and 3rd waiter cleared our plates and took our dessert order. Support local, give them a try. Good location, friendly staff and customers

The biggest issue came when my daughter found a long, nasty hair cooked into her quesadilla. To their credit, they did remove it from the bill, but that's where the customer service ended. I ordered the "jumbo hand-breaded fried shrimp," and what arrived looked nothing like what was advertised. Instead of jumbo, hand-breaded shrimp, I was served what appeared to be a dozen tiny, pre-breaded frozen shrimp, likely the kind you'd buy in bulk from a food distributor. The shrimp themselves were extremely small and hidden under an unusually thick coating of breading to make them seem larger. To make matters worse, the cocktail sauce was congealed and completely inedible. What really turned a bad meal into a terrible experience was the lack of service. Our server never once came back to check on us after the food was delivered. She never asked how everything was or noticed that I barely touched my meal. When I brought this up to the manager, hoping they would at least acknowledge the poor service and disappointing food, I was met with an attitude instead. Her response was, "I'm not giving you any discounts on that because we already took the quesadilla off the check." I wasn't demanding a free meal. I simply expected someone to care enough to ask why an untouched entrée was sitting on the table and to address the issues professionally. Between the hair in the food, the misleading shrimp, the inedible cocktail sauce, the inattentive service, and the dismissive manager, this was an experience I won't be repeating. Unfortunately, I can't recommend Merks Bar & Grill based on this visit.

It's the kind of place you walk into and immediately feel like you're somewhere special. The service was good overall, attentive and friendly, which we appreciated. However, the food unfortunately didn't live up to the vibe or the prices. My husband and I ordered the grouper tacos, and they were a bit disappointing -- mostly cabbage with very little fish, and on the dry side. The cocktails were $17 each (before tax and tip), which would be fine if they matched the experience, but they were served in regular plastic cups, which felt out of place for such an upscale setting. Overall, it's a beautiful spot with a great atmosphere, but the quality of the food and presentation doesn't justify the high prices.
