I've smoked at a few places around the Atlanta area and this is my favorite. They use big khalil mamoom hookahs and pipes, which are rated as one of the best. Good array of flavors from the likes of starbuzz, al-fakher and fantasia. Music is always popping. They don't serve alcohol. Been here numerous times and never had a bad hookah experience. read more

This place was really awesome! Lin was working by herself making sure everyone was happy and helped. She was diligent, funny, engaging, and just a big sweetheart. The actual lounge was very laid back. They had chill music playing with a nice variety of hookah to choose from. The only thing was the decor really needs to be updated. I posted a picture of the ripped couches and the worn tables. The ladies bathroom didn't have paper towels. Those details aside, the entire place was a fantastic experience overall. Give Lin a raise! Dirty and very poor service.... there are bugs in the establishment and half of the tv's don't work. Employees never seem like they want to be there and are too busy on their phones to provide even ADEQUATE service. I didn't even know someone was supposed to come check on us until I read the other reviews. He literally was on his phone the entire time we picked our flavor and then hid in the back on his phone for a good 10 minutes and finally brought it out. How are they not embarrassed?!? I've been going to this place for a few years and I know the staff and the owners well. The things I didn't know until recently is their attitude toward some of the people and the owners' attitude toward the staff. First things first, the owners take all the tips and the staff gets nothing, the owner will deny all allegations however if you ask any of the staff they will tell you they get no tips. Second is they have voiced in the back of how they couldn't care less if customers leave this establishment and sometimes charge them wrongly then they have a vocal confrontation eventually over charging the customer. The furniture is beat up and dirty and hasn't been replaced in years. The returning "owner" O'Neal who came back has threatened to use violence quote "customers do not comply with their new rules, the armed bouncer will **** in the leg". He went on a tangent on if they don't comply he'll even clock them in front of the police or even get his strap from the car which he was very vocal about it to another customer. He purposely said this due to joking with an employee there about paying up front when the other owners let us pay in the back end before we leave; how I would post a bad review. The man decided to come sit down with my friends and started to threaten me directly. After I let the establishment, he got my number from one of the other owners, called me as I was outside the establishment and threatened me again. Will not be going back because of that man's attitude toward customers. Customers are not always right but owners who act like that do not deserve it because especially if they're threatening to use violence. read more

They take forever to make the hookah, took 30 mins to even get asked what hookah we want, then took 30 mins to bring it out. Multiple people walked about. Jimmy has horrible customer service and always has an attitude. Then someone else had to clean off their own table, worst experience ever. Go to inhale, save yourself the trip. read more

Compared to most hookah lounges, this place belongs in the bottom. I came here around 9pm on a Monday with two other friends, and was directed to our seat. Starting off, you feel a really chill atmosphere which is my kind of place. The seats aren't bad and thankfully TV's were accessible for most seating areas. Customer service itself is what really hurts this place, we ordered our hookah and didn't receive it until 30 minutes later. Our waiter very rarely comes by to check on us, so anytime we needed something would require us to wait a while. You'll usually see the waiters here standing around and just staring at the TV when you're trying to get their attention. Even after you have a request, it will take a while for them to get to you, and at times you realize they forget what you asked for when they're just standing around making conversation with others. So what I had to do instead was get out of my seat and kindly remind them what I needed. Keep in mind, I came here on a Monday, so this place was not that busy so there's no excuse to keep people waiting for so long. Pricing is a double edged sword here too, the pricing for hookah itself is pretty decent and cheaper than most places, but you're only limited to two people per hookah, or you'll be charged an additional $7 dollars per person if you don't get another hookah, which is ridiculous. If you ask for water, they'll provide bottled water instead so they can make some extra profit off of you. Overall, this place is a bad experience for me. I'd much rather go to Mirza which is very closeby, where the waitresses get back to you fast, not nickel and dimed for bringing an extra person or asking for water. read more

I like the vibe of this place. It had comfortable seating, very lounge-y. They also have a lot of variety on their hookah menu. The staff was friendly, and they kept an eye on the coal making sure to replace it in a timely manner. I didn't like that fact that every 2 people have to get a hookah. So if you have 10 people, you have to order 5 hookah, OR you can pay a cover charge to get in. Also do not like that they do not serve any alcoholic drinks, and do not have very much food options. Don't come here being rowdy. This is a chill spot. Tuesdays are $12. That was a lucky strike on my part, seeing as how some places charges almost $30 for a one-hose. Anyway, the ambiance of the place is a chic setting, so don't come in there looking too raggedy and unkempt. Casual and classy. No alcohol is served at this spot but you really don't need it. Pregame if you're that thirsty. The food is 'eh' but the flavors are numerous and plentiful. They have this thing called 'ice hose' where they attach a tube filled with ice packs to the hose for a smoother, cooler smoke. However, I prefer the ice in the water method myself as the coolness lasts much longer. I order the hummus and pita chips but the hummus was kind of awful so I had it sent back. I didn't try the rest of the menu but like I said, the flavors of tobacco are plentiful so you have plenty to choose from. My personal favorite are Blue Mist and White Peach. Go with friends or alone, it's great for large groups and the staff are relaxed and courteous, always making rounds to refill your coals when they see you're burning low. All in all, I'd recommend this as a regular chillspot for recreational smokers and their friends. Will be visiting this spot more often. read more

My best friend and I come here often, usually 2 or 3 times a week. We haven't been lately due to our work schedules but its not that far from us and we both really like the atmosphere. The staff here is always really nice, sometimes not as attentive such as forgetting to replace our coals after we requested for it but that was only on a couple occasions. They don't sell any alcohol which is unfortunate. I like to stay towards the back where the beds are. Their flavors are alright I guess. They could have more on their menu seeing as how it's priced. I never really tried their food, the only thing I ever had was their pita chips and humus which was pretty good. You can get these pineapple heads which I think is pretty cool. It's a nice place to lounge around. All in all, I always enjoy my time here. read more

The furniture at this place is cozy, but some sofas are a bit uncomfortable. The service was ok, the girl didn't seem to know much about the hookah flavors. I wasn't really satisfied with this place one bit. I didn't realize it was only two per hookah which I find to be a HUGE rip off. Other places I've been to, where I liked the atmosphere much better anyway, it was $15 for one hookah - unlimited coals and people. No hidden fees. Also, the service was some of the worse service I've ever had. It literally took 30 minutes to get one cup of Turkish coffee. It didn't even taste that good to me. No one checked up on us or refreshed our coals. They should also serve alcohol. They're seats are SUPER comfy though. read more

I came to this place on a weekday around 6pm. It was empty, which was nice. There was tons of seating space. The music was my favorite, they were playing The Weeknd so I'm automatically bias :) The mint hookah was really good, and it lasted us a good 40 minutes, best smooth hookah ever. Also they didn't like that only 2 people in our group smoked hookah, they demanded the non smokers also get hookah. They were desperate to make money as oppose to pleasing their customers. Went here for my first time smoking hookah in a lounge setting. I was pretty satisfied with the place. We got there pretty early, around 8 pm and it wasn't very full. Most people seem to come around 9 or 10. They have comfortable seating and it feels very cozy and intimate. As other reviewers have said, you have to pay extra for a third person , so this might not be the best place to go as a group, but definitely for a date. The service was pretty good. I didn't see much food on their menu, however. As for the hookah itself, it was pretty nice. We got the mint flavor and it was great. Overall, I really liked it and would go again. It's a nice for all of us living in this area and not have to drive all the way to Atlanta to get decent hookah. read more

Worst place ever. I came in on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered a hookah for my friend and I. When the gentlemen dropped it off at our table he left and never came back. The hosekept falling apart. Every time I would pass it to my friend we had to put it back together. When I went to the back to tell the server if he could fix it who ever was back there was like dannnggg wooow. Worst customer service ever. After that at least an hour passed he never came back to check on us flip the coal or offer any new ones. Needles to say I will never go back there again. read more

Just left here tonight with some friends. Im amazed they are in business. Took 32 min to get 2nd hookah, 15 min to get a jarrito bottle, had to go ask. Theres one dude who works there light skinned, short curly hair had a headband on. Either the laziest or higest dude ever and rude af. At the end we try to pay, i pay for my 2 drinks to someone else there on the machine. Then my friends go to pay for the hookah. They let me know they got charged for two extra drinks. I go tell the guy, he questions me like im lying asks to see reciept. I was so fed up at that point with the shitty service and the "i dont give a f***" attitude. ****The end he got fed up and put $20 on the table and told us not to come back****. Today I walked in here to just get a handle on what this place was about, check the atmosphere, and see what staff was like. my buddy and I were greeted by the manager himself (John) who was very polite to us. He showed us around the place and gave us a brief overview of the hookah wall. After talking with him he hooked us up with a pretty sweet deal and we didn't even buy anything. I look forward to going Friday and seeing what this place is really about, I will further this review after Friday night. So, now for the actual review. WE were the second people in the lounge so we got to pick pretty much any where we wanted to sit. The manager brought us a menu and explained in detail to us the different tobaccos they had which for first timers to a new place is always helpful, makes you feel more at home and less awkward in my opinion. We ordered a drink and our hookah. The hookah was amazing. They had people walking around with hot coals every fifteen minutes or so swapping the coals for you and making sure you were doing ok. The only "complaint" I have is the staff in conversation amongst themselves was not 100% professional. It was nothing rude said or anything, just some stuff we heard that I wouldn't normally expect to hear in a place of business. Nothing insulting or disrespectful. I've been coming here since it opened and have to say it has some of the best shisha in atlanta. They have a wide variety of flavors to chose from and the prices are decent. (15-17$) you can also add a 3rd person to a hookah for another 8$ otherwise the limit is 2 per hookah. They also offer the natural coconut coals which is another plus. The downside is the small food selection and of course no alcohol. So if you are looking for just a nice shisha place to come and chill then this is it. read more

Came here last night for the first time, coming from Cali I have to say hookah out there is like Waffle House here. In said that, customer service, hookah and over all experience, good! I would say the only thing is I wish they used better coals, perhaps it was just the day I came but using instant light coals other then personal use makes no sense to me but it may be the coast factor or the fire code so no judgement there . Come here for hookah only. If you're expecting quality service this place is a hit or miss. In tonight's case it was a miss. Previously, I would come to Off the Hookah with friends and family. Each time the atmosphere was chill and the music was nice. However, tonight was different. I was reminded 3 times about the price of hookah, although I already paid. I never had a problem paying before so I found it rude to be reminded of the price 3 times in a hour. I also requested if they had any other music besides country-pop. I was told they have a Pandora playlist although there are other stations. In the future I hope they are as enthusiastic with price enforcement as they are for decent service. read more
