We celebrated a Moms' Night Out at Off the Record and had a fantastic time! We sang, laughed, and enjoyed drinks well into the evening. I ordered the Highway to Hell cocktail, and it was delicious, not overly sweet, just the right balance of flavor. The atmosphere and aesthetics were amazing, creating a fun and lively vibe. Whether you're planning a party, a girls' night out, or simply looking for a great place to grab a drink, Off the Record is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back! Excellent customer service.

I had the opportunity to check out Off the Record on opening night. They've really done an amazing job revamping the space inside a historic building. Everything is colorful and high-energy, from the nooks filled with disco balls to the cocktails in a variety of cool glasses. The singalong format is fun and a great concept for a night out. I think Off the Record will be a successful addition to the downtown Phoenix nightlife scene.

This is not a karaoke bar.. that should be clear. They're just playing music videos with subtitles and the microphones don't actually function (on purpose), at least play the instrumentals. It seems very misleading on instagram. Not impressed. It's just a bar w/ mediocre music. Would not go again. The drink I had was fine.

The jungle room was a blast!

I love this new downtown phx bar!!!! The service was great, and the drinks were even better! We tried a few different drinks, Highway to Hell was my personal favorite. Everyone is singing along to amazing songs and the vibe was great. Can't wait to go back soon! Definitely add this spot to your bucket list

I went to get a drink at 12am and was told they did last call. So I go sit down, 5 min later I see him Making a drink for someone in line.

As I was in a party of 2, I cannot speak to if you must purchase a full table as a party of 1 or pay your individual fare but potentially be seated with another party of 1... My partner and I RSVP'd for a Thursday 7:30pm flight from NYC to Tokyo. Per our email, we were instructed to arrive about 15 minutes early to pick up our flight tickets from the downtown restaurant Wren & Wolf. Spoiler alert: Carry On is a speakeasy attached to the back of the restaurant. After picking up your ticket, you walk around the corner to the large orange "plane" door, which opened punctually at 7:30pm to start our experience. We gave our flight attendants (the staff was indeed wearing flight attendant uniforms) our tickets at the front desk, and were given free Carry On pins before being escorted to our table. Despite being a Thursday evening There were overhead announcements and even windows playing animations emulating a real flight experience from take-off to landing! The interior is gorgeous, from the furnishings to the lighting. Craftily, there are many mirrors inside to create the illusion of a larger space. The menu emulated an in-flight menu, with food and drinks based on the trip's theme! We ordered an additional drink each and an onion dip that were all creatively crafted and delicious! All in all, Carry On is the perfect date night or girl's night experience. While it might not be in most people's price range for a casual night out, it is definitely worth trying for a special occasion if possible. I would love to go back and am looking forward to the next destination's theme!

Perhaps they're owned by the same people? Drinks took 15 mins to make, and 2 groups who got there after got theirs before even though they just sat at the bar and I had reservations...okay, if that wasn't annoying enough there was no food. Their advertised menu was very nice and I'm not sure if they're still not serving food due to construction remodeling. Initially the bill came with a 10% discount for the trouble, then another staff member said it was comped. Thank you so much, very good and reasonable. The waiter was super cool and knowledge so I definitely don't blame them, it was an overall sorted experience. Lastly, please beware the "Rose Garden" is not just an aesthetic theme, it's heavily rose scented, like your nana's floral lotion. I guess many people don't notice cause I can't find mention of this but it gave me a major headache. There should definitely be a warning for this especially since many people don't like the whole perfume isle thing and some are just allergic. I wanted to like it a lot but it was just off this time.

It was great, and for my second drink I asked her the most unique drink on the menu and she said "Down The Rabbit Hole" which was tequila based and had carrot among other things and cream cheese foam. Who knew that was a thing? Also delicious. My friend and I were going to have one more cocktail but we decided to check out another bar simply for variety. But definitely a rad spot and I'd happily come back.

Clean pours. Balanced. Not over-mixed. Just enough sweetness to get you in trouble. Crowd was mixed, stylish... looked like people who know where to be without needing to post about it. The seating's cozy enough to post up and talk but open enough to float around if you're trying to socialize. It had that lounge-meets-night-out energy. I went with a gin cocktail that had coconut flavors something I would never consider with gin but if you read my reviews you know gin is my preferred spirit. It was so good! For two people we ordered three types of empanadas we probably could have gotten away with two flavors and maybe a lighter tapa or desert but really wanted to try the cheese and guava empanada and didn't want that to be a main option in case we didn't like it. Needless to say we really liked all three: picadillo, arroz con pollo and guava and cheese - the picadillo was the favorite however both for the inside flavor and the accompanying dip. Pricing is not bad I'd say the serving and size of the three empanadas for $14 is a great price.

Main level/Upstairs vibe is well-lit with a true cantina bar feel. High-top tables, seats at the bar & happy hour from 4-7 pm make it ideal for some $7 drinks!!. The collection of Tequilas is GREAT. Many of which do not contain additives. I won't lie, I thought I was a big fan until I realized I didn't recognize a lot of the tequilas they had on hand. Downstairs is a whole different vibe. Custom craft cocktails, dim lighting with artwork, and more make it feel like an upscale NYC spot in your basement. I did 2 of my favorites, Paloma De Guayaba with the custom block name etched and the Baya Nueva. It was busy, but not packed, which made the service stand out more than it should have. I had to ask for water twice, never got a refill, and overall felt largely ignored--minimal eye contact, no real warmth, just an impersonal feel that didn't match the space. It felt like a place that may be a bit of a victim of its own success--popularity has grown, but delivery hasn't fully kept pace. Part of the appeal here is the permanent taco truck outside, which I know from past visits is excellent, and I love the truck's outspoken, unapologetic support for immigrants. That said, the cocktail itself was excellent. I was specifically looking for a coffee-based drink before heading to another event, and the Cambures al Estilo Foster delivered on flavor. It was tiny, though--served in a small stemmed glass, gone in a few sips. It did the job, but some may find the portion underwhelming for the price. No major complaints, but nothing pulling me back either. I'm adding a fourth star on a bit of a hunch--I'd like to think they can dial it back in if I return.
