Weirdest cashier interaction I think I have ever encountered! Raze was the cashiers name. She didn't acknowledge me when I walked up. Then she checked me out and when the transaction was done she didn't say anything and just turned around and started texting on her phone. Didn't say thank you or anything. She didn't put my items in a bag or get my receipt off the cash register. I had to carry my items and reach around to grab my own receipt off the register. I called to ask about print services and was not informed those services close early. I arrived 40 minutes before the store closed and was told print services close early because she needs to close the rest of the store by 7. So she refused to help me when I needed very little done. Probably would have taken less ten minutes. But the manager, Tiffany, was not interested in helping me at all. Very bad customer service. She just wanted to close and leave. read more

I have been to this location to use their print services twice within the past week and it has been AMAZING. Hands down the best experience I've ever had at any sort of printing place. It was Keith who helped me both times and he was friendly, great with communicating what I should expect/ what I needed to do to get what I wanted, and was incredibly helpful. For reference, I got 100 programs printed for my wedding and the seating chart for my wedding as well. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to this kind of stuff and he was so willing to cooperate and help me bring my vision to life!! Will only be coming here to print my projects from now on :) read more

Can I please rate ZERO STARS?!?! I placed an online print order 02/27 in Round Rock (where I live, wait for it...); the estimated pick up time was 7 p.m. No one called to say they couldn't print, nor was a message sent via email. When I arrived at 8:30 pm to pick up the prints, I was informed that they had run out of magenta ink and could not complete my order. !! The Round Rock store had to send the order to another store for pick up the next morning. But Jocelyn in Round Rock sent me to the WRONG store in San Antonio. Upon arrival at THIS Office Max location, I was not greeted and had the slowest, least helpful service possible. I then paid $26.33 MORE than the online order. I asked the print cashier why it was over $20 more than the original order. She mumbled something incoherent about online discounts (AGAIN, NOT MY FAULT THE ORDER COULDN'T BE PROCESSED ONLINE!) which I would have had her apply. Unfortunately, by that time I could not wait to speak with a manager or enter codes because I was then going to be late to my meeting. I will never send another print order to Office Depot/Office Max and will shop their competition religiously. FedEx Office, here I come! read more

The service is awesome. But their print station is out of date. Their fax machine is terrible. Getting charged to use such a hunk of junk is annoying. They should of paid to use it. No one wanted to help me. They just said they knew it was junk. Won't be back. read more

Came in one day because my scanner at home was being an a-hole and I needed to get an email sent ASAP! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and pointed in the right direction. I was quickly assisted and able to get was I needed to get done, done! In what I thought was going to be long annoying process turned into me being able to be in and out of the store in less than 5 min! Totally earned these 5 stars!! read more

Tech Dept manager Dallas at the OfficeMax on San Pedro was extremely helpful. She was very interested in customer satisfaction and went the extra mile (or, in this case, several miles, twice) to make sure she took care of our needs. They only had the store model of the laptop my boss wanted me to buy for work. Dallas offered to phone other stores to see if they had one. They did, and she offered to personally pick it up that evening and have it to the store by the next morning. She did. The next day, I went back and spoke with her again, as I decided I wanted one for myself. She called around again, found me one, picked it up and had it at the store several days later. She kept in contact with me to tell me when she could get it, and called when she had it in store. The best customer service I've had in years! read more

Went to the printing department to print an ecopy of invitation. The guy working... I think his name was Tim, was awesome. He was so helpful, very patient with my non technical self. I will for sure be going back with all my printing needs! read more

This has to be the least customer friendly Office Max ever. I walked in past closing. There was a sale on sharpies at $0.25 a piece. I understand it was a whopping 10 minutes after 8pm. And they opened the door and said they were closed. I mentioned I was there to grab the sharpies as it was the last day of the sale. The employee said "we're closed," I mentioned I wanted 3 sharpies only (as that was the limit) and pointed out there was people in line (which the sharpies were located next to the register,) he walked the manager whom was also at the register helping check people out (maybe 3 people) and he simply shook his head and said "No," the sale was ending I wanted three sharpies next to the register fully understanding the store was closing. I think customer service like this is what gives reputable businesses a bad name. A little above and beyond never harmed any business. It would have taken all but 2 min. Max to get my sharpies and send off a happy customer. read more
