"On Latte" with two extra espresso shots - the rice cream top is such a nice pairing with the sweetness of the dolce flavour!

I've been eyeing OFFNOFF for a bit now, I remember looking them up after I drove by during their initial construction and was disappointed when I didn't find anything. But they're definitely open now!! I always appreciate when a shop is open before 8am - while Miss Dolly's song says 9-5 (rest well, diva of all divas), most of us work 8-5! So finding a shop during my work commute is really important to me. The baristas here are super nice!! I was welcomed by everyone when I walked in around 7:15am, and the person helping me was so sweet and inviting. I was glad that it was semi-empty at this time since they had just opened, so I had somewhere to sit while I waited. Took less than 10 minutes to get my drink, which I think is a normal amount of time! Especially because I ended up asking for an additional two shots of espresso, and I know pulling those can take some time. I had read in a couple reviews that the espresso wasn't too strong, and I tend to default to a quad shot regardless, which I think ended up being a good choice! The flavour profile is delicious and I can definitely taste the coffee - I would say that their espresso tastes very similar to Flat White in Cypress, which is my go-to location. I wouldn't be surprised if they used the same blends~ I will say that OFFNOFF seems to be on the pricier side? At other coffee spots I tend to pay around $10 or less before tip (I know that even seems high for some), and with the additional shots it was around $11 before tip. I know that's not a big jump, but other people may penny pinch a bit more than me and could take umbrage with a dollar or two. Personally, I think if I really want this specific coffee shop, since their menu is so artisanal, it's worth treating myself once in awhile for something unique. As others have said, parking is a bit limited and I can see that coming here in the afternoon would be a pain in the butt, but if you're an early(ish) morning commuter, you'll probably find a spot right out front :) The inside of the shop is clean and quaint, basic stools for waiting for your drink, but nothing really for staying awhile. I honestly appreciate this, as it means I have less chance of accidentally bumping into someone who's sitting down, and there's significantly less noise inside the shop itself. There are a couple of tables outside I think, if you feel so inclined to stay for a bit. Their pastries were tempting, but I resisted this time - I did notice that when someone ordered and they removed a pastry for the person, a worker replaced what was missing to make the display still look full. They also seem to ask if you want it warmed up, for those who prefer something a bit more toasty. I think with their prime location being in view just before the 91 East freeway onramp, they're going to see a lot of traffic and customers - which is wonderful for a new location! I'd be very excited to see what other drinks they create and offer in the future (the mango cream cheese matcha is, in particular, calling to me...), and will definitely be back! :D

OffnOff is a new Korean cafe in La Palma! I ordered the jasmine matcha with oat milk. The sweetness was well-balanced and I liked the floral notes from the jasmine and the creaminess from the matcha, but wished both the jasmine and matcha flavors were a little stronger. I would come back to try some of their more popular drinks like their lattes with toasted rice, black sesame, or mugwort cream! The cafe is located in a small plaza, so parking can be limited. The store itself is very cute and aesthetic, but has limited seating. I went on a weekday afternoon, so it wasn't too busy. The workers were friendly and welcoming, and my order came out quickly.

Came here on a Sunday morning It was not busy, parking is available but limited. The cafe itself is small but decorated in bright colors making it feel very lively. They had a lot of options for drinks, we had a bigger group so we ordered a few drinks. Matcha latte Iced americano honey oat latte We all really liked our drinks and enjoyed them. I reallly liked the matcha it was so perfect, not super sweet, it had a great umami flavor and nutty as well. I would definitely would want to come back and try the others!

Another coffee shop, and it's another winner. I love the Korean-inspired aesthetics--so calm and modern. With limited seating inside and outside, it has its own flow. Parking is available, which is a bonus. The staff member who took my order was incredibly sweet and warm. Ordered: The matcha latte: the color was beautiful, and it tasted good too. Next time, I'll get a cream top for it. Black Pink: strawberry milk with black sesame cream and an added espresso shot. They were so good--nice quality. I can see why this place is popular for a new cafe. Wishing this place lots of success.

A Fantastic New Addition to La Palma! I recently visited OFFNOFF COFFEE and had a great experience. The space itself is lovely. very clean with a great aesthetic and the service was exceptionally friendly. My friend and I tried a few things from the menu: Drinks: We ordered 2 of their most popular coffees. Off Latte (a delicious brown sugar latte with rich black sesame cream) On Latte (a Dolce oat latte with toasted rice cream). We requested almond milk and half-sweet for the On Latte, and it was perfectly prepared. Pastries: We shared the Everything Seasoning Cheese Danish and the Savory Tomato Pesto pastry. Both were fresh, flavorful, and a perfect complement to our drinks. They offer both indoor and outdoor shaded seating. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the weather, which was very relaxing. Overall, both the coffee and the pastries were excellent. I'll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend checking this spot out!

Finally tried Offnoff Coffee! I think they recently had their grand opening too! The space is such a vibe, I love their matcha bowl wall decor they got going on. Some tables inside & outside to chill for a bit. All the baristas are so kind, even gave us their stickers! This is what we got... The Off Latte which is a brown sugar latte topped with black sesame cream ... such a unique combo, but somehow the nutty, kinda earthy sesame flavor compliments the sweetness reallyyy well! The On Latte is a dolce oat latte with toasted rice cream, and that cream was amazing! It had this warm, nutty, lightly toasted rice flavor. The Dolce Latte was more of your classic latte! Definitely enjoyed the more unique flavors here.

Went here on a Friday morning, decent amount of people not too overwhelming. The staff are nice and welcoming. They have a few croissant like pastries sweet and savory. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Ordered with a group and we all got our drinks pretty fast. I only got the Dulce Latte with oat milk (7/10) just because I'm lactose and couldn't drink it with the cream on top. I'd definitely come back and try another drink. I tasted my friend's Off Latte which was different since I'm not really a black sesame girly.

I really don't understand the rave reviews here. We came on a Sunday and the place was bustling with customers, so we immediately thought, okay, this must be a good sign! Unfortunately, my husband and I both left genuinely perplexed lol. I ordered a flat white with less milk and their signature cream top, thinking the stronger coffee-to-milk ratio would give me a nice bold espresso flavor. Somehow, it barely tasted like coffee at all. The cream was fine, but the actual coffee flavor was so weak that I kept wondering if something was missing.. I was also a little disappointed that my iced flat white came in a paper cup. Not a huge deal, but for an iced specialty drink, I was expecting a clear cold cup. My husband ordered a latte with 3 shots and light sesame cream top, and even with THREE shots, his also tasted surprisingly weak. We both kept trying each other's drinks thinking maybe one was just made differently, but nope -- neither had much coffee flavor. Maybe this place is better for people who prefer really mild, creamy drinks, but if you actually like tasting the espresso in your coffee, this was pretty disappointing. Especially with how busy it was and how highly rated it is, we were expecting much more.

Came here on a Sunday, there were a good amount of people but no wait. Ordered the off coffee (dolce with toasted rice) and it was sooooo delicious!!! I loved the toasted rice cream top, so unique. The coffee itself is also amazing on its own. There were small bits of rice for added texture. Next time really want to try the on coffee and jasmine matcha, which also looks popular!!

    Off & On lattes!

#197 in my Coffeeshop Chronicles. OffNOff is a new korean coffeeshop with delicious lattes, and it's officially my go-to in this area! The small shop has a minimalist design with benches and stools along the glass walls, and they offer a variety of korean-influenced drinks. One of the owners was manning the register the first time I stopped by, and she was so friendly and welcoming. After chatting with her for a bit, I decided to try their two signature drinks, the Off latte and the On latte. The Off latte is a brown sugar latte with black sesame cream. The On latte is a sweetened latte with a roasted rice cream. It tasted similar to injeolmi but a little more subtle. Both lattes were well-balanced and smooth, and had unique flavor profiles. I also tried their suk drink, which has a vanilla milk base and a salted mugwort cream-top. It's a caffeine-free drink with an amazing earthy flavor to it once mixed. I was expecting it to be more bitter based on my past experience with mugwort, but the vanilla milk seemed to have offset any bitterness. I enjoyed all three drinks and have returned a few times to get them again, especially the suk - my current favorite. As for the food, I purchased a few of their pastries that they get delivered from Out of Thin Air, a bakery in LA. So far I've tried the Pesto heirloom tomato viennoiserie, Yuzu almond croissant, and Everything cream cheese viennoiserie. My favorite was the pesto, but all three were delectable. All in all, OffNOff is a great new addition to the local coffee scene. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

I've really been wanting to try this place as I've been driving by it and I was excited to see that it's finally open. Came on a Sunday afternoon and was surprised by how busy and packed it was, and almost turned away but I'm glad I didn't. I love how the space is decorated and there's definitely enough seating, even in a compact space. The staff was very helpful in guiding us to what drinks we may like and knowledgeable about their menu. They also got our drinks our pretty fast which I was surprised by My family and I got the off latte-hot, on latte-easy ice, and the dolce latte-easy ice. Some spots give you like a quarter/half the cup of drink when you ask for easy ice, which was not the case here and I really appreciated. The drinks are all on the pricier side being in the $7.00 range,so this is going to have to be a once in a while splurge. Also a milk substitution is a $1.00 which is pretty expensive in my opinion compared to other coffee shops. I hope they make a rewards system or stamp card! I paid $25.00 for 3 drinks. I REALLY enjoyed the Off latte and regretted not ordering it for myself. It had such a unique flavor, without being overly sweet or milky, and is what I'll order the next time I'm back! The On Latte wasn't bad but it personally wasn't anything amazing. I may just not be a fan of the roasted rice flavor. It had little toasted rice bits (I assume) which threw me a off a little. The coffee flavor in this drink is bold compared to the others so something to keep in mind. The dolce latte just seemed like your basic run of the mill latte. Decent quality drinks and a very aesthetic/cute spot, but I thinks it's overly expensive for what you're getting. There a myriad of other coffee shops in the vicinity who do similar drinks at a more affordable price.

7/29/26 Welcome to La Palma- OFFNOFF Coffee! Friendly baristas, great coffee/tea, quaint & cute shop, modern, minimalistic. As mentioned by Les, another Yelper, this cafe is in its soft opening phase (hours 8 am to 3:30 pm) with its grand opening scheduled August 15, 2026. I was immediately welcomed by Cami, who gladly took my order and was also being polite & welcoming. One other Yelper mentioned in the reviews that staff are indeed very much in-tuned to show customer appreciation. In order for new businesses these days to be a success, customer service is what may stand out among other competitive shops. Consistency in food/beverage & price-wise may drive to customer appeal. We're OFF to a great start. I ordered what Les said to be the better beverage, ON LATTE, hot and for an iced option, matcha latte. The ON LATTE was spot on (dolce latte with toasted rice cream). Their espresso machine, LaMarzocco, was an indication that it'll (it should) be a an excellent drink. And it was! The matcha latte was earthy but it lacked depth. Unfortunately, there was no restroom because it's a tiny shop. But if you're serving things that may make you go? Oh well, nothing is perfect but the drinks are tasty. Overall a great visit although there's not much space to comfortably hang around or sit. There are a few small chairs, benches and tiny tables (indoor & out door, please see photos). Parking is free, limited as it shares a space with 2 other businesses at this plaza.

We continue to see the attack of the cafes in SoCal and OffnOff seems like another great competitor. OffnOff arrives as this small plaza finally finished its renovation after quite a while. The coffee shop is located at the corner of Orangethrope and Walker as the last shop on the west side of this plaza. There is a small parking lot that isn't usually to bad earlier on in the day. Coming in, there is a distinct black and white aesthetic going on throughout the cafe. There are some seats littered throughout the shop from bar seats to benches although would say the shop is pretty intimate. Like the Korean decorations as well. There are some pastries available as well as a mixture of drinks including coffee and matcha. I was here to try out the matcha. I asked the staff where matcha was from. They unfortunately couldn't disclose where exactly it was from as it was a secret but just mentioned it was from Japan and ceremonial. I got specifically the almond milk and unsweetened variant of the iced matcha latte. The wait wasn't too long. The matcha latte was pretty solid in that I could taste the matcha, and the almond milk didn't overpower the flavor. This particular matcha was a bit more earthy/grassy than most of the others I've tasted in the local area so far. But didn't feel like it was too overpowering. The total cost came out to $7.75 which feels on par with the average nowadays. I don't think OffnOff is my most favorite matcha in town but think it's an efficient cafe stop and is able to make its own lane as another matcha option.

But now when I order drinks, most of them aren't very good or are missing flavors. The Smoking Spaniard is still yummy yet it used to be sooo much better back in the day, now it taste more like a regular spanish latte. I always see the new seasonal drinks and menu and get so excited to try them just incase I find a new favorite. Most of them have been a miss sadly :( The fruit lattes and drinks from their seasonal menu usually has actual chunks of fruit in it which makes it hard to drink and you have to chew while drinking a latte ;( not my fave. I went in yesterday to try their summer '26 seasonal drinks which is Yakult! I was sooo excited. A blueberry Yakult matcha latte! yummy! I got there, got a new earl grey lemon loaf from the bakery, got my blueberry Yakult matcha latte and sat down to try. Sadly, it didn't hit... the blueberries are still super chunky so I had to use 2 different straws because my first one got stuck with blueberries in it. The Yakult foam was really good but the blueberries weren't :( I HIGHLY recommend when making fruit syrups for coffee, boil down the fruit and blend it or strain out the big pieces. I sadly have stopped really coming to Smoking Tiger so often because I haven't been impressed and other coffee shops have been popping up that has better quality now :( Smoking Tiger has been focusing more on quantity of stores rather than quality of their food and drinks.

My family and I went over to their food items and had a field day picking out what we wanted from containers. I got their sweet honey bread which was amazing, I've been a kick ordering this at bakeries. The blueberry muffin was okay, it was a bit crumbly. Corn mochi was quite interesting but I learned to like it. Sweet Potato mochi was solid and then I didn't try the Chestnut mochi. It was overall a good setting to get work done and plug your laptop in, use their wifi or restroom.

Unfortunately, that turned into over an hour--with no updates from staff during that time. What made it worse was that we only found out after we had already paid that the kitchen was backed up. That's something customers deserve to know upfront so they can decide whether they're willing to wait. We were also there with a baby who needed to go down for a nap, which made the long, unexpected delay even more difficult. On top of that, they had already run out of matcha and the menu was extremely limited, which was disappointing considering that's one of the main draws of a place like this. Overall, poor communication and lack of transparency really ruined the experience. I understand delays happen, but being upfront and managing expectations would have made a huge difference. Extremely disappointed. We went to this place a long time ago when they first opened and remembered them having a more extensive menu and it being far better. Sad to see that this place has gone downhill. My family and I will definitely not be coming back again.

Usually I'm a sipper, but today my drink was gone in about 10 minutes because of how delicious and refreshing it was on this hot day. Just a heads up though--this is not a Masala chai with spices like cardamom. This chai is more of a sweet creamy cinnamon chai. Definitely recommend. Service 10/10 Friendly, pleasant, and helpful service. Ambiance 9/10 Clean and minimal design. On a Friday early, there was only 2-3 customers studying or reading. Great place to study with good free wifi, outlets, and a bathroom. There's also plenty of parking and lots of restaurants and eateries walking distance. I've gone to the Coffee Code in Fullerton, but it's always quite crowded when I've gone and I've struggled to find a table. Already planning to go back to this location in Buena Park.

The Iced Vanilla Latte was excellent! rich and flavorful, yet clean and smooth without being overly heavy or creamy. The waffle was also delicious, topped with fresh fruit and ice cream, making it a perfect treat to share or enjoy as dessert. The service was friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. I'll definitely be coming back for another Iced Vanilla Latte.
