After an exam and X-rays, I was told that the office had made a mistake, and that my insurance would not be accepted. The dentist then told me that because that was their error, I would not be charged for the services. Fast forward 6 months, I began getting bills and payment demands for the visit. I was told by the office staff that they would look into the issue, and I was never contacted again. Bills kept arriving, and I am still dealing with them. As a person is sales, it is important for me to not only clearly communicate with my customers, but to also ensure that my promises are kept. I would not recommend not because of the dentist or bedside manner, but because the office staff doesn't seem to be able to communicate, properly review and confirm insurance, and keep its promises.

They charged me over 500 dollars to get a mouth guard (since I grind at night which is true) that I lost shortly after getting it and tried to get them to make me a replacement immediately after I lost it at a work trip and they said it wouldn't fit and that I would need a whole new set of imprints which is incorrect. I would be skeptical of some of their recommendations. I also had a crown and it did fit correctly and they tried to fit it again and I continued to have pain with my jaw and overall the dentist didn't even come look at personally she just sent me to a specialist and said I "might" need a root canal. Now I might have a unique situation but it doesn't appear that way and this appears to be standard practice so I'll be finding a new dentist. The staff is generally friendly and the office is up to code but, at this point I don't think the dentist has done a competent job and I would not recommend them to any friends or family. Nor do they really seem like they care about the pain my teeth and jaw have been.

I called to let them know what happened because I get really bad anxiety at the dentist and the thought of all my teeth being pulled is terrifying for me so I didn't go in at my 8 o'clock scheduled appointment I know it's frustrating to have people not show up but it wasn't my fault had it been sent to the correct pharmacy I would have had it and been there at 8. So I'm talking to the girl who sent the meds and she gets all rude and says the prescription has been sent since Friday and was mad that I had to be rescheduled for Monday. I didn't have a ride to get the meds on Friday or Saturday but I had one yesterday and I thought everything was ok because I thought it was at the pharmacy I go to. However this was an awful experience due to Theresa. Theresa, one of the front desk ladies, was one of the rudest employees i've dealt with, period. 1) When i first scheduled the teeth cleaning appointment she insisted that I give out my social security number, which i didn't want to do. This is typically used to verify and follow up with payments. However, I have had issues with identity stolen in the past and don't want an issue with my identity being stolen in the future. I work in software and dental security systems are often not so secure. I asked if there was a way around this, she said yes as long as i verified my insurance beforehand. I did the extra legwork to provide proof of insurance and even called delta dental to verify. The insurance was verified and they gave me a sheet with available services and credits i had available before starting the cleaning. After the cleaning Theresa again asked for my social. I said no to which argued with me in office after my teeth cleaning, was yelling at me despite having verified insurance and had paid already. 2). She was the person i had scheduled my appointment with and neglected to mention they have a charge for PPE protection due to covid. Not a big deal, and i want to support small business especially in these times. The charge for ppe protection is $10. Which to me seems ridiculous especially because she didn't mention it beforehand. They're already charging my insurance over $100 why are they making a profit from masks? Do the math. If they see 1 patient an hour for 8 hours a day that's $80. A mask or set of masks isn't that much. I only came into contact with 3 people. So they're making extra money off their customers during this time? 3) The dentist provided me with a $15 thing of special toothpaste.She made a mistake and forgot to charge me for an item when I left from my teeth cleaning way back in the summer of 2020 (it's December 2020 now). She had been sending follow up mail to the wrong address and i only received a phone call today to pay for the toothpaste. During this time they had added $0.61 of finance charges. I asked for them to be removed, because of the principle. She said she would drop them and asked if i would just pay the $15. I said yes and gave my credit card information. She then said she was adding back the $0.61 to the bill. It's $0.61, and really doesn't matter at the end of the day, but the pettiness involved here is insane. Absolutely disgusting service.

I then went over the treatment plan with another gal. She said she would send in the pre authorization to see what will be covered and what is not. She sais she would get back to me. My appointment was January 20th. We are now March 23rd with no phone call nor email. I was told it might take sometime to hear back from my Insurance and they would contact me. However, the phone call never came. Last week, I also sent another email to ask of I could obtain my xrays as well and go figure that call was not returned at all. I feel I was left in the dust with my treatment plan and pre authorization plan. I did here from your office about my bill though. Which the balance was paid. So when you need payment you will reach out via text and snail mail but not follow up on a treatment plan? There is a huge disconnect.
