Everything I've had Has been great. The service is always good. Ambience is interesting for Fruitland actually it's a nice place. Nice people too! I have never heard of Moffa anything except for the Italian Mafia!

Ogawa's has won the best overall restaurant in the western treasure valley! I think it is very well deserved. I have been here many times and the service has always been great. They do tend to get really busy on the weekends but I promise it's worth the wait. In my opinion the deep fried Tabitha roll is a must try- it is filled with tempura shrimp, avocado, and cream cheese. You won't be disappointed. They also have a tasty drink menu. I would highly recommend this spot for date night.

I'm way overdue for a review for Ogawa's, and quite frankly another trip. I say without a doubt that this is one of Ontario's best restaurants. Everyone is always great - whether you get a burger, rice bowl, or sushi, you really can't go wrong here. High quality food, reasonable prices and great service. I've been here too many times to leave commentary on every single dish I've enjoyed. So to highlight a few: My favorite sushi roll by far is the Philly Roll (salmon with avocado, cucumber, cream cheese, $7.75). It's simple and always hits the spot. The fish is always fresh, and all the ingredients mix in so well together! Heaven in my mouth. For non-fish fans like my husband I recommend the Tyler Roll (teriyaki beef, cream cheese, green onion, spicy sauce, $7.25). You get to pretend your eating sushi without actually eating raw fish. Whatever that spicy sauce is, it's so damn good. My stomach is growling just thinking about and I'm 50 freaking miles away. Don't like sushi? No prob, they've got delicious rice bowls. The BEST is the Teriyaki Beef Bowl (teriyaki beef, steamed vegetables, white rice, covered in Tomio sauce sprinkled with sesame seeds, $10.50). It really reminds me of the other great teriyaki joints in Boise, again I'm not sure what's in that sauce exactly but it's hella freaking amazing. I could go on but I'm not about to bore anyone and who knows who tf actually reads these so I'll leave it at this: if you're looking for funky good food in this lil ol' passerby town don't look anywhere else because it doesn't get any better than Ogawa's!!

Just to give you an idea what was ordered. Varied across much of the menu.

The ambiance is nice everything else seems to be a "wanna be" sushi restaurant. The staging of the food coming out was poor. My sushi order has nothing to do with my hot food and should not be held until my hot food is ready. Sushi was ok nothing to rave about. I wish you the best in your endeavor.

Chicken katsu sandwich

Food was tasty and the ambiance is so soothing. Enjoyed the chicken katsu sandwich. Was eyeing my colleagues' bowls which looked delicious.

Very nice and comfortable inside. Both the sushi and burger were good. Didn't love the sauce on the VIP but that may just be preference. It was like a sweet Italian dressing. Will be back soon!

Custom ordered Sushi Roll...delicious!

I'm from out of town and stopped by here on a recommendation from a local work colleague. I'm so glad I did! My server was named Tamie and she was incredibly friendly and attentive. I couldn't decide on a beer, so she let me sample a few unprompted. Super cool. I had a custom sushi roll made to order, edamame a couple other things. All were fresh and tasted delicious. The prices are very reasonable. The place is clean as well and staff friendly. If I lived in this town then I would visit this place often! I definitely recommend this restaurant. Thank you!!

Used to love this place but since they moved to Fruitland they stopped doing takeout. Lots of customers lost due to that.

Yum. The food and service were great. The only thing is the seats for outdoor eating are very uncomfortable if you have wide hips.

Plenty of seating inside and out. There is a terrace out front with rolling garage doors and also a spot out back that is dog friendly. Nicely decorated place and clean restrooms. The hostess will seat you and give you menus, then you order at the counter. They also bring the food to your table. They have four beers on draft and more in bottles, along with wines. I can see this place as a local hangout after work. I went with a friend of mine. He ordered the Grizzley Burger and I got the Cluck Cluck Nashville chicken samminch. I won't rate his, but he said it was quite tasty. The chicken sandwich was good, but I expected a little more heat in the sauce. The chicken portion was good sized, but there was still a bit too much bread to meat ratio for my liking. One other thing, we both noticed the bun being a little dry. As a matter of fact, they started breaking apart while eating. Personally, I would serve the chicken on Texas Toast. Of course, that creates logistic problems. We did split an order of fries, and they were good. They are not cripsy though, so be aware if that is what you want. There is also a fitty cent charge for fry sauce. I'll return with the squeeze and check it out again for sure. The staff was great!!

Let's start this off by saying the service was good. The food however was just barely ok. The prime…read morerib was tough. The 18 oz ribeye was cooked to perfection, really good. The Rocky Mountain oysters were way over cooked but good flavor. The salad was way under par with croutons that were hard and tomatoes that were slightly wilted and a hair in my wife's salad. Very underwhelming for a meal, with tip, of almost $200 for 2 people.

I got there at 3:50 pm. Ten minutes before lunch was over. And during their happy hour (several…read moremeals as well as drinks to choose from). The Sirloin with 2 sides is only around $13 compared with almost double that on the dinner menu. Good specials on drinks too. Summer took great care of me. She's excellent. Even though baked potatoes aren't supposed to be ready that early she got me one. I got the lunch rib plate, which is a huge beef rib (although a little smaller than it used to be). It was mostly meat and not much fat. Way too much for me to eat, it provided lunch the next day as well. I brought home a burger to my wife, which was also cooked perfectly. It's a fun old-fashioned place to go to. Lots of animal heads on the walls and cowboy type things. This is in the old Sizzler right off the freeway and just into Oregon. They are owned by the same people as Indian Creek steak in Caldwell. Happy hour and lunch prices are very good, dinner prices can easily be $50 or more. their happy hour runs until 6 o'clock every day, which is great.

First off, the outside of the restaurant screams "we are still in transition", as this used to be a "Killions" and shows as such. Once you go inside, the ambiance is very pleasant. They are certainly working hard to make the place a very nice place to eat. There is a salad bar along the lines of what you would expect from a TA Travel Center (certainly adequate) and pastries at the entrance. The server was a great ambassador for my lunch. I am a truck driver / food tourist and try things all over the country, so I allowed her to tell me what she enjoys best on the menu. I ordered a Hawaiian Burger with a fried egg on top, and "Kirley" fries. I posted pictures of the burger to demonstrate these guys aren't fooling around. The burger came with a slice of ham almost a 1/4 inch thick, plenty of my favorite vegetable (onions), pineapple, tasty teriyaki sauce, and the bounty of Kirley fries. Unlike 1 star grumpy pants David below (who I think is a planted mole from another local business) my fries were EXACTLY what I was hoping for. Well seasoned, crispy and certainly more wholesome than what you would get from the Arby's across the street. Plus the egg, fry-sauce, Tabasco, and ketchup were all there to make it even better! Look at my pictures of the meal and you tell me this is a 1 Star location. Over all, I really hope they keep up the good work and I certainly hope for a profitable year for these guys! Now make the front of the restaurant look like the inside and you'll be in business!
