The "Navajo Taco" as presented take out.
    CritDicks ..

Very average, or even below average, bar food. We were excited to hear from our hotel (Best Western) receptionist next door that they made a great "Navajo" taco. We ordered the taco and a kids Mac-n-cheese. We were excited when we opened the take out carton with the taco. It looked very appetizing. The taco was just OK with a chili filling and side fixing's (lettuce, tomato sour cream etc) and a great fry-bread. The Mac-n-cheese was very much the Kraft brand we used to eat as a kid, just without the hot dog slices mom used to add to it. One bit of that was all. The taco itself got only two bites each from the wife and I. I saved the Mac for the dog in the morning and threw the rest of the taco in the trash. Food wasn't worth the indigestion. I think we both picked at the bread for a couple bites more. A decent looking restaurant inside, but the food didn't get our respect. Unfortunately Jeremiah's didn't keep our interest next to "the best animal friendly hotel" in the same parking lot. Gonna have to find a better place next trip. Dicks

Jeremiah's is one of those small town restaurants that just does it right. Good food, good service, good prices. And a must try for breakfast, scones, cinnamon rolls. We went with a group of 8 and had a great time, the table was appropriately sized, the noise level was low and great for conversation. I tried the prime rib special as they only serve it on Friday and Saturday nights after 5:00pm. It was very good, a very large portion served with vegetables and potato for $23. I asked for med rare and it was more well done, but still juicy and flavorful. My wife had the Monte Cristo which was good, not the best, but still very good. If you haven't been and are looking for a nice spot at a good value, you really should try Jeremiah's.

The Big Breakfast was BIG, two plates full of food! Great food, and the service was fantastic. Would visit again and try some other items

Came in on a Saturday around 4:00. It was super busy in the front lobby. It was also Christmas break time for folks and this restaurant is situated right by the best Western. So the wait was a little stressful and the booths weren't full so I am guessing it could have been in between shifts. Once we were seated everything was wonderful. The waitress was friendly and welcoming, she knew what she was doing. The food also came out quickly. I got the Navajo taco and loved it! I noticed a cinnamon roll on the other table that looked amazing. Didn't have room for dessert so asked for one to go. I love the atmosphere, the service once seated and I would definitely go again! Portions were also very generous.

Food is always homestyle and unpretentious. Service is always attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is very rustic with a diner feel. For a quick and dependable meal at reasonable prices, this is our go-to place.

Just traveling through the state and wanted a place that was unique to Ogden rather than a chain restaurant. Jeremiah's was a good choice: comforting family-style atmosphere, friendly service, and good basic choices. One item that sets Jeremiah's apart is the scones. I got the small dippers (which weren't small) with honey butter dipping sauce. Excellent! My entree was the teriyaki salmon, which was moist with just the right amount of sauce. It came with a choice of rice or potato and a side of nicely cooked green vegetables. The restaurant is part of a motel complex, so good place for me to keep in mind on my return trip.

Food and service was outstanding. Very busy on weekends but worth a wait. If you leave hungry that's your fault. The plates are enough for 2

The restaurant has nice…read moreambience--it was busy but not too loud, and the design felt modern and inviting with tons of natural light and well spaced tables. One odd thing--they use table clothes but then put paper on top. This felt a bit off for the fancy atmosphere they were trying to create. We had lots of delicious food. Our meal started off with the Daily Bread & Butter and Caesar. Both paired well together. For entrees, I had the Wagyu Zabuton, which was cooked well and was paired with flavorful sides. My husband had the Lamb Chops, which were beautifully plated. All the cocktails were amazing, but my favorite was the Madam's Choice. They didn't do anything special for anniversaries, but it was fine because we were full of food and took the leftovers home. I'm excited to try this place for Sunday brunch next!

The flavor palette is just absolutely exquisite and will justify your coming here. ...and on that note. I had to wait what felt like an epoch for my delicious, chicken-y reward, and despite the size of the restaurant and relatively tame level of busy-ness, wait staff still took their sweet time and did not get bread out in a timely fashion. The ambiance is like 'millennial interior design final boss' - imagine being trapped within the pages of Magnolia Table, and everyone looks and sounds like the first Google results for 'hipster'. I wouldn't mention this if the smarminess of staff didn't compound the frustration of having to wait forever for like three pieces of bread. So, if you're in the area and have a refined palette that craves rich, delicious flavors against a backdrop of open French windows, I'd say go for it. The food definitely outcompetes the annoyance I felt. But seriously, get the chicken sandwich.

The short: This is…read morethe kind of place that you think of when you hear neighborhood coffee shop. Got awesome waffles(hurt my wallet though). The long: This is the kind of place that you can imagine someone coming here every day for years. Some place that's so deeply intertwined with a random neighborhood and you wouldn't ever know about it unless you came here. It's got character, the scratches in the walls, the adorable tables and chairs, adorable trinkets and treats you can buy, nice baristas up front and some awesome hot chocolate and waffles. Now the only reason I give it 4 instead of five is because it is $6 per waffle, I don't love it but I will admit that they'd get me paying that same $6 every time I went in there. But as I said the aesthetic was perfect. Especially for a coffee date or just taking a seat and reading a book. I genuinely enjoyed my time here, and i believe if you enjoy coffee shops then you would too. Thanks for letting me stop by and eating some killer waffles! 4.25/5

This place is located in a cute and quiet neighborhood, and is pretty cozy. The shop itself offers a warm and welcoming environment and is bustling with customers trying to get their morning fix. Although the shop is a bit small, there is plenty of seating and an open area to wait for your items. Additionally, art and merchandise line the walls, so there is always something to look at. I personally ended up buying a sticker of a painting made by a local artist. As for the drink/pastries I ordered a pumpkin chai with their house made puree and was not disappointed. I enjoyed it a lot. The only downside was it had a slightly odd aftertaste. As for the pastries, I had a blueberry banana muffin and a pumpkin turnover which were just alright. Staff are friendly and personable, even during the chaos of a rush. Lowkey though, the minimum option to tip being 20% is kind of crazy, considering that it is /just/ a small coffee shop. Still gave the tip anyway. Overall, it was a good experience and I enjoyed my drink both mornings I was here. I see why it is always so busy. If i'm in the area again, I'd likely come back. *staff/customers in my attached photos have been blurred to protect their identity.

Paying for one meal and getting two is the kind of financial planning I can get behind. The space itself is adorable and perfect for a catch-up. I've been a long-time customer of No Frills Diner in Ogden, and my wife and I used to come here…read moreregularly because the food was great and the portions were worth the price. Our absolute favorite thing on the menu was the Caramel Apple Stuffed French Toast. It was two thick pieces of cream-cheese stuffed French toast topped with apples, caramel, crumble, and whipped cream, and you actually got two of those pieces per order, plus bacon and eggs. It was easily one of the best breakfast plates in Ogden and the main reason we kept coming back. Yesterday we came in and found out they completely removed it from the menu. Huge disappointment right out of the gate. They still have mixed berry, banana caramel, and peach versions. I can't eat the berry because of an allergy, and we've had the peach before and didn't care for it, so we tried the banana caramel crunch instead. Service was slower than usual. There's a help-wanted sign when you walk in and it looked like a new employee was being trained, so that part was understandable. What wasn't understandable was when the food showed up. The portion has been cut in half. What used to be two stuffed French toast pieces per order is now only one, but the price is the same. My wife and I have both had weight-loss surgery, so we're definitely not people who need massive portions. But cutting the plate by 50% while charging the same price just feels like a bad move. Even though we split meals we made it up by tipping are wait staff, the difference as if we would have ordered two meals, Removing a customer favorite and shrinking portions at the same time is a good way to lose longtime customers. Cute little diner, just hope the owners can rethink this issue. All things change and not always for the good. We used to recommend No Frills to everyone. After this visit, it's hard to say we will anymore or visit ourselves.
