I utilized Ogden clinic for their medical weight treatment program for my family. the consult was the worst. The NP spent the entire visit talking about her recent liposuction and tummy tuck. We didn't get any answers and it was an hour long visit about her. Then they billed us $150 for a no show visit and also billed us for the visit. I emailed the office manager about the confusion but was told they had a no-show policy? but we didn't no-show?? Then I emailed and Ogden clinic director explaining the situation and telling them I would not pay the bill. They would not remove the bill, since I didn't pay they sent me to collections, I wrote emails and letters and tried to resolve the issue but then I was SERVED a court notice I was being sued by Ogden clinic for $150! the claim was that I received care that I didn't pay for?? I didn't receive any care for the $150 fee and it was an error on the part of Ogden clinic that I was charged for a visit and a no-show on the same date. I have had similar issues with Ogden clinic in the past. I would recommend avoiding them if you want to have fair service and actual care. I don't want anyone to be charged for care not received and then sued for not paying an erroneous bill. There is such better care without billing errors at other healthcare systems everywhere else. read more

Beware of Ogden Clinic lab! You may think they're in network for Select Health because all their Doctors are in network, but labs will be billed as out of network with some providers. read more

I'm not going to say everything is perfect with any company, but most of the reviews/concerns are related to Ogden Clinic in general or insurance policies and not this clinic. Certainly they are not related to the staffing who are generally very attentive, knowledgeable, and caring. I have been seeing "nurse" Arbon (he's not a nurse) for many years by preference as I have found after seeing multiple doctors that he provides the best care and attention during my visits. I would highly recommend him as a medical provider that will care for and advocate for you as the patient. read more

Tried to get details for my father for a visit that was scheduled for pain management related to terminal cancer and Stephanie whom is the MA to Van Christiansen was rude, combative, poorly educated, non empathetic, and disgusting with her lack of customer skills. This was a first for me to be actually hung up on by a professional establishment and I will ensure none of my employees or clients will have the same experience by visiting this center ever. Common sense says if someone has weeks to live you are flexible with them and their families when trying to accommodate care and you would not expose them to sickness within a site that also contains an urgent care center. Alternate solutions would be a telephonic visit vs. in person when it is expressed the person cannot get out of bed or drive. Shame on you Ogden Clinic, shame on you Van, and shame on you Stephanie for hanging up on someone during an emotional crisis when someone is physically dying! #NPDB complaint warranted! read more

My family just moved to the Valley from Southern California. Also, I should say that I worked in the medical field (in hospital administration in Los Angeles) for many years before getting married and starting my family. I have a lot of experience behind the scenes. This clinic is very large and CLEAN! I came rushing in without an appointment with two toddlers in tow. My son got bitten by something and I was fearful that it was a poisonous spider due to the crazy swelling! I haven't had time to do much research about poisonous bugs around here so I was freaking out. The lady at the front desk immediately jumped up and went to the back to grab someone to check my sons hand. The nurse said it wasn't a poisonous bite and I was so relieved! At this point my kids were stroller-less and my daughter had no shoes on. Gross. The nice girl at the front desk checked me in and actually doubled up my sons appointment with one for me so that I could get a couple things checked out. I ran back to the car and grabbed a stroller and some snacks for the kids, expecting to go back in a wait forever. NOPE!! They called us in right away and Dr. Christansen was so nice and the nurses even took my kids to the nurses station after my sons checkup and watched them for me while I had my portion of the appointment. It made it SO easy for me to hear and focus on what the Dr was saying! I needed to do some labs and they have a lab right on site with THE NICEST guy ever!!! Seriously, he was amazing I wish I grabbed his name. I was so impressed by everyone's bedside manner and prompt service! This type of care is UNHEARD OF in LA. Absolutely impressed and excited to have such attentive and kind people working in healthcare nearby. I went back a week later for a follow up with Dr. Eggelston and was SO impressed with his kind nature and knowledge as well. So, so great! I love how they have a separate waiting area for "wellness checkups" my only comment on that is they should brainstorm a way to try and keep that area clear of sick people. When we went for the checkup I took the kids in there and there was a little girl who was awfully sick and coughing everywhere! read more

I've been a nurse for 18 years and this clinic is horrible and incompetent! They charged me for several co-pays for their mistake because the stitches the doctor put it came out 2 days later so I had to go back and pay another co-pay?!? How is that okay?!? And Ogden Clinic's billing department has always been incompetent and has never known what they're doing! They billed to the wrong insurance and for the wrong procedure!!!! I will never go back there and I'll let everyone I know to never go there either! read more

This was my first visit to this clinic and I left without even seeing anyone. I arrived and checked in with the front desk 10 min prior to my appointment time. After I sat in the waiting room for an hour, I inquired of the front desk who told me that my appointment was "cancelled due to a no show" Unbelievable. read more

The Ogden Clinic Mountain view has been our doctors office for a good amount of time. Dr. Christensen and Dr. Brett Arbon are fantastic! Dr. Arbon goes above and beyond what is required to listen and discover your symptoms. The front desk here can sometimes be a little chaotic. The site does not contain any ability to print... So when the lady checking you in says can I see your new insurance card and you say can I send it to you from drop box, they say no. The employees do not have email access or the ability to print something you send them. I am sure this is due to hippo but, it really needs to change even if they just have a stand alone PC and printer in the Lobby. The site is clean and well maintained. read more

I recently had the displeasure of visiting this clinic twice within the same week. For brevity's sake, I'll just say that my first visit provided, at that point, the most disrespect I've ever been subjected to by anyone in a professional capacity in my entire life -- having a nurse actually, literally laugh at my concerns -- to be surpassed only by my second visit, during which I was able to receive my medical advice from a combative and rude secretary instead of a licensed medical professional, edging closer to malpractice than mere callous indifference. If, by some terrible stroke of luck, you find yourself at this clinic and are treated poorly, fret not: they will send you a link to share your concerns; however, don't expect that anyone will bother to respond, as they did not to either that I submitted. If, like me, you decide to seek other avenues of communication, you're in for an ordeal, as there is no clear or easy way of filing a complaint. I ended up calling their business office, only to be redirected to a line that no one answered. I left a message and was called back 2 days later by a friendly enough guy that at least listened to me, but a week later, I've heard nothing back, so as far as I'm concerned, nothing has or will ever change, and I will not see a cent of the more than $100 I paid to be treated with less empathy or care than cattle at a slaughterhouse. The only reason I would ever recommend visiting this clinic is if you're looking to gamble your health on a malpractice lawsuit, as it's more a matter of "when" than "if," but if you care about your health or the health of your family and friends, you'd be wise to avoid this place altogether. As for me, I'll never again put my wellbeing in the hands of people I wouldn't trust to be caring enough to clean the dog's mess out of my backyard. read more

I needed a new primary physician so I decided to give Dr. Mattsson a shot. So far, he has done nothing but brush aside anything I bring up about my health and wasted my time. I've now had three office visits with him and the only result was him setting me up with another physician. This guy should be working at the DMV--not a health clinic! read more

This is a very nice professional clinic. Especially, like Dr. Eggleston. He does a great job. Cannot give a higher review do to their billing people. Very poor communication and they depend on our crappy mail service to deliver anything in a timely manner. I would go to another medical facility. This has been the worst billing office I have ever dealt with. They bill the wrong insurances and never know what is going on and give wrong information all the way to the point of trying to take you to collections because of their mistakes. read more

Went in for a DeQuervains shot. Great service from the doctor. However bill was extremely overpriced and decided to charge me more for the visit so the doctor can make more money. Will never go back to this clinic. If you want to go be aware they will charge you more without any warning or knowledge beforehand. read more

This clinic advertises that no matter your age we want your business. A few weeks after an initial visit I get a call telling me "you're 65 and we don't want your insured business". That's age discrimination and it's ILLEGAL ! So now the pharmacy there will be losing my business also so I don't ever have to go in this building and they are going to be told why. Bad "word of mouth advertising" sure doesn't bring customers and their money in the door. read more

I'm so disappointed in this clinic!!! I don't recommend it one bit!! About a year ago, I was very ill and needed to be admitted into the hospital. After a 3 day stay they wanted me to do a follow up with my primary doctor. I figured that was simple enough... well, I couldn't even believe the headache that would come. The doctors nurses are nasty unprofessional people. VERY condescending and arrogant. I was completely mortified. They (yes, more than 1) were saying I had a balance (I did not) and that it needed to be taken care of or I couldn't come back. I was shocked so I contacted the billing department who said I didn't actually have a balance and that I was all paid and in good standing with them. I was then transferred back and the nurse then had to verify that. After that... I was then able to make the appointment. That brings me to the billing issues.... I have had issues with the billing department because the nurses want to bill you for everything and even more. They billed me for a new patient appointment (I wasn't a new patient, I had been many times in over a few years/same DR). They also tried to bill me for services I didn't even have done. I called and asked them to change my bill, they declined that (via letter) so I called back and asked for someone else. They also "reviewed" and declined it (via letter). So I called back and spoke to someone else who then sent my bill to a review specialist. That review specialist said they were in deed wrong and fixed my bill. I just couldn't believe the headache and the length of time it took to have their errors resolved. As of recent day: prior to Christmas I tried to get a manufacturer coupon signature from the doctor. I thought It would be as simple as dropping off the paper or faxing it. Nope! They have completely blown off my calls until now after Christmas and are now telling me it's been over a year and he needs to see me again. Mind you: this is a preventative inhaler for my asthma. He has prescribed me this medication for years. However, they are refusing to sign this paper unless I come in and have an appointment. They want me to make a $100 medical appointment for one swipe of a pen. I'm not sick, I don't need an antibiotic etc. it's the same medication I've been on for years. This is simply bad practice. It's been so many upsetting errors, awful service and a total lack of consideration. I wouldn't go there. Not for a second. read more

Do not go to this clinic. I trusted them with my care and they almost killed me. For months I was having issues, they did a couple tests and gave me pills. I ended up having a major medical condition that had they caught, wouldn't have been so bad. Also, I had an ekg done, the nurse said their leads were faulty and sent me to a hospital for more tests. I was charged over a thousand dollars for a test I didn't need because their equipment was faulty. I trusted this place for 2 years and almost died twice. Only go here if you need non-emergency "care". They will do the bare minimum. They don't want to help you. (I know because I worked for them for 2 years). Trust me, go somewhere else. read more

I have absolutely no problem with the medical professionals at Ogden clinic. They are courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. My issue is with their billing practices. They first send bills directly to patients, before they even bill insurance. Then, they routinely bill insurance incorrectly. Then they let it sit, without further communication for an extended period and either send you a bill long after the service date, when you have forgotten the details, or send it out for collections. You are then stuck trying to run down the details with your insurance company long after the fact. I've never had this issue with any other medical provider, all others work with the insurance companies and provide transparent billing statements. read more

Terrible physicians here. Recently visited the urgent care as I woke up feeling sick with a very sore throat and coughing up some blood. Got scared and saw Dr. Arbon who could have cared less about anything. Took time from work to wait 45 minutes and pay a copay in order to just have him tell me to "keep an eye on it to see if it gets better." He then prescribes me a nasal decongestant due to the fact I answered a question of if I was allergic to anything with "I have seasonal allergies." Even then, he asked me what I need to prescribe. He's the doctor! Shouldn't he be telling me? Regardless, I wasn't there for my allergies and my time with the useless physician was only about 5 minutes. Dr. Arbon was unfriendly and short with me. I've now read some previous negative reviews about him as well. My main physician there, Van Christensen, is the same way. They all could care less for anyone's well being. Unsurprisingly, I discovered horror stories about this clinic and their physicians after I have now been here. I type this early in the AM due to the fact I can't go to sleep cause the pain in my throat hurts so bad. read more

Dr Eggleston was able to see me within 20 minutes of arriving at Ogden Clinic. He was professional and very nice. I felt horrible and he listened to me cry about all my symptoms. He did an exam and prescribed the necessary meds to get me feeling well again. I want him to be my regular go to doc! Great experience all around with Ogden Clinic. read more
