This is the best barber shop I have ever been too. I have been seeing Juan for almost 5 years and hes an absolute pro. I know that every barber in that shop does their work amazingly and with integrity. You wont get a better haircut, shave, or trim anywhere else. Its like a true barber shop, however both men and women can feel comfortable. I love having the straight razor done around my ears and back of my neck. I would never let anyone else touch this hair. Decided to try a new place for a cut, as the place I usually go to is a bit pricey and lately I feel like they just have a lack of attention to detail and I feel like a number vs a valued customer. I was greeted warmly when I arrived. The chairs where full and a few people where waiting. The first couple of things I noticed was how immaculately clean the place was and how everyone the barbers and the customers where smiling. There was some up beat music on low in the background. I was told it would be about 10 minutes. I sat and read a magazine and listened to the friendly banter going on. One of the guys came over and said he was ready for me. He asked me what I was looking for and I began to explain what I wanted. Normally this is where things go wrong in my experience. and normally the barber/stylist is busy cleaning this or that while I speak. Not this guy, he listened intently and then asked a couple of questions for clarifications and then he kind of repeated what I had said to make sure he had a clear understanding. I felt extremely confident that he would nail it. And he did! This is the first Hair cut I have had in 12 years that I have been in Dallas TX that delivered exactly what I asked for! these boys are the real deal, extremely professional. Started coming here about a year ago and haven't turned back. This place is a legit barber shop with young, hungry barbers refining their craft on each cut. This place is so good I tried to have another baby so it could be a boy and I could bring him here, but she came out a girl so oh well. For the work they do, they are considered cheap...but don't tell them cuz they'll raise their prices. Oscar is great, Santana is fantastic, and they got a couple of other dudes who I haven't been cut by but I've never seen anyone disappointed. Saturdays are busy so I probably wouldn't just walk in unless you got a good hour or so to kill, but trust me: you won't be disappointed. I'm telling all my buddys about this place. OG'S chop shop messed up my hair and my cousin hair they don't know how to use the scissors at all and the back of my head they mess up and ain't even even, I waited 1hr and 30min just to wasted 30$ on a haircut! I stopped in one Saturday before my upcoming wedding needing a haircut and a beard trim. First off I am very particular about my beard and never let anyone touch it. But for such a big occasion, I figured it needed a professionals touch. I was not disappointed. My hair looked better than it has in years, after going to just get a basic cut at great clips. I've been getting regular haircuts from Oscar for about a year now. He's thorough and consistent and never rushes the process. The barbers take pride in their business and the atmosphere is professional and respect is shown for children and adults (this is a really big deal for people with children)! My schedule is tight and I'm always on the go so I keep a standing appointment to avoid having to wait and I've never ran into any issues. My wife took my son to get a haircut here yesterday and after waiting for a little over an hour for the dude to cut someone else's hair he told my wife and son that he had to eat before his food got cold. They left immediately and will never go back. My oldest son also has gotten his hair cut one time there as well which we weren't aware of and he said that after he was in the chair it took an hour for the dude to finish his haircut. Just a fade! Hell I could cut someone's hair in that amount of time and its not even my profession! Don't bother wasting your time going to this place. Also it is way over priced for a fade your paying 19 bucks. I don't normally write reviews but I had to in case people that are new to the area are thinking about getting a haircut here. To me it seems that the barbers here have this goal to get you in and out of the chair in 10 minutes or less. The cut that I received was something that you would get from a barber with 3 months experience or less. Deal breaker was the fact that I got cut with the razor and the barber didnt even blink when he saw blood coming out of my face.
