    Pepperoni Pequod pizza

Rocco's is at the top of their game. They've assimilated into their new(ish) location and are hitting their stride, and the evidence is in their August '26 Special. They found some vintage Pizza Hut pans and pulled them from the archives to serve up caramelized crust, Pequod-style pan pizzas! You are allowed only one topping on these, so we opted to have ours with pepperoni. They came perfectly cupped up, all over the top. The pizza was served right at our table still in its pan! Here's hoping that they extend this special out or bring it back often.

Finally tried the new location. It's a nice upgrade from the old spot. Much more room and a more modern vibe. The staff was friendly and the food was good. We got the wings, spicy hot sticks, buffalo fries, a thin crust pizza, and a slice of deep dish. The pizza was good and definitely could be close enough to satisfy a Chicago pizza craving. It's not quite the taste of Chicago I'm looking for though but it is delicious in its own right.

First time at the new location! Super love the new space they got with lots of tables, booths, bar seating and also a patio! I was in recently with a friend and managed to grab 2seats at the bar to avoid a 45 min wait (on a week night btw) . I am glad to see them doing so good with at least double the space they had before. We had excellent service overall. The pizza is really the star of the show here, we had the traditional 9" deep dish with just pepperoni inside and omg! The sauce.. the crust .. the cheese pull... sooo good! The pesto fries were a little salty but our drinks were also good. Also love their parking lot upgrade but since the complex is getting popular it can take a minute to find a spot. Totally worth it tho, great pizza place, i will definitely be back !

Very enjoyable. Pepperoni Deep Dish for the Hubs and a grinder for moi. Parking is out back and sat in the 70° sunshine having just arrived from the cold Pacific NW, though there is traffic noise being on main thoroughfare, E Broadway Blvd, it was great just to see sun and blue skies! Everyone else was inside the darker chillier booths and tables haha. Pizza was large for $19 -- 9" Pepperoni $3.49+ $15.49 Deep Dish has softer puffy crust with medium firmness, good flavor, chunky clean tomato sauce, not zesty kind, and plenty of cheese. Very pleasing for Tucson deep south 1700+ miles from our fave Pizza Uno and Gino's East, Chicago, that has a firmer more flavorful buttery cornmeal flaky crust (Ai says it's cream tartar that Gino's uses). My Classic Italian grinder $10.99 1/2 or $15.49/Whole uses La Baguette Parisienne's which has delicate chew and just enough crustiness, super fresh, it really makes the hero so good. Do wish it had dreamy mortadella and spice of salami instead of pepperoni for the price :/ Add-on a kinda spendy House Salad $5.49 / Caesar Salad $6.49. House Salad was well done and chose Vinaigrette, fresh crisp romaine red lettuce oily olives fine chooped sundrieds parm and tomatoes. Do it at lunch until 4P and you save a buck $15.49 on 1/2 Sammie/Soup or Salad. Menu rounds out with pasta with homemade sauces and meatballs, award-winning wings (not stated by whom) pizzas thin or stuffed, stromboli and calzones. Desserts--a giant slice of plain Eli's Cheesecake From Chicago $5.99 (not familiar), cookies and cannolis yay! Time to revisit Lil Chicago in Tucson already, yum!

Rocco's version of Pequods with pepperoni.

Yes, yes, yes! The August '26 experiment with Rocco's version of Chicago's famous Pequods' pizza rocks! We sat at the bar and tried a large with pepperoni. Service was great. As for the pizza, they nailed the original caramelized crust, added more cheese, and put the pepperoni on top, which may have actually been an improvement to the original because it got crispier. Well done Rocco's!

This place never fails to please my chicken wing lovin' pizza lovin' self. Today was no exception. Lots of seating inside, and Rocco's is such a classic Tucsonan spot. We ordered the buffalo wings, and I absolutely love their ranch and blue cheese. As always, service is exceptional here!

Parking is such that I would only go back on offhours....if i were to ever go back. Decent location Ambiance/Cleanliness-clean enough, comfortable booth..cool decorations, legit small bar area. 4 stars. Service-adequate...the drinks and appetizer were served quickly and efficiently. Entrees were a sh*t show. 3 stars. Food...this is why I don't go out nearly as much as i used to. Toasted ravioli was very, very good..marinara was on point in texture, but a little bland. iced tea was colored water. My dining companion ordered a house salad with chicken. I ordered a kitchen sink deep dish with a BURNT crust...because otherwise deep dish is too wet. My buddies salad came out a good 15 minutes before the pizza which took a good 30 minutes to make it to the table..and the crust wasnt even close to hitting the mark....the pie was 26 bux for a 9" Mama's is WAY better...never going back. 2 stars

I've had Rocco's on my list for several years, so long that my Waze took me to their old location first but I immediately just knew it was down one building. We visited at about 2:30 PM, so it was nice, slow and quiet when we were seated. Our server was really nice, quickly brought us some iced water and took our order - dozen medium wings, the spicy hot sticks, kitchen sink pizza and a cannoli to top it off. My hubs is the wing guy, he said they were very tasty. The spicy sticks were good with a nice bit to them. We did the thin crust, and I do love that they cut it into squares... makes for easy eating and you do not have to commit to an entire slice. The cannoli is apparently house made, a cinnamon like flavor and was really yummy even though I barely had room. Our server was pretty slow after taking our initial order, partially due to shift change as it was nearing 4 and got much busier but it was a little frustrating to have to keep waving down for boxes and check.

I've been wanting to try Rocco's forever and finally had the opportunity last Friday evening. It was busy but we found two seats at the bar. I ordered a Limoncello Margarita and it was one of the most refreshing drinks I've had in a long time....so good that I had two. My guy really likes bread so he ordered the cheesy garlic bread AND the spicy hot sticks. He liked both - I just had a bite of the hot sticks and they were tasty. For dinner, he ordered a calzone (which he loved) and I ordered a half grilled rosemary chicken sandwich. The sandwich was overwhelming for me with that giant baguette and I wasn't that hungry so I put the bread aside. The flavor was good but the chicken was extremely dry. We watched one of the bartenders fill a cannoli and KNEW we had to have one! We ate half and packed the rest to go along with a giant slice of cheesecake. Prices were what we expected so no complaints there. The ambiance and decor are fantastic. But I'll tell you this - my five star review is for the service. Absolutely stellar! Despite me not mentioning it even to my husband, our server/bartender could tell that I was not happy with my chicken. As he cleared our dishes he told me that he comp'd my meal because he could tell I wasn't enjoying it. Now THAT is service! We'll be back for some deep dish pizza for sure!

9" Deep Dish Big Bad Wolf

On a business trip and my colleague happens to live good food like I do. He suggested Rocco's and man was it good. Real deal deep dish Chicago style pizza. We had the Big Bad Wolf (all the good piggies on it) and the Kitchen Silk. We did two small to share and still took some with us. Great service with menu suggestions and guidance. Place has a nice small exposed brick feel to it. Fairly loud, but happy people enjoying some fine pizza it's expected. A+++

It had been a while since our first visit so we decided on Rocco's Little Chicago for a weeknight date spot. We finally tried the deep dish pizza and absolutely understand what the hype is about. It's worth the few extra minute wait and the small is enough to feed 2 people. We also tried the fried mushrooms which were perfectly crispy and held onto the breading well. This place is a Tucson staple for a reason!

I've been a Tucson local and have never tried Rocco's because I have my usual pizza places but since they opened in the new plaza and I love those businesses I decided to give them a try. They have always been busy when I've walked by so MAKE RESERVATIONS. We were seated right away they do mark off tables that have reservations. The waitress was attentive at first getting our order but honestly service went downhill from that which I've seen in some other reviews. We only saw our waitress when she took our order and gave us the bill nothing in between but we saw her check on other tables. The only saving grace here is the girl who was running food out and bussing tables, she did more for us than our waitress she refilled my drink, gave us plates for our pizza. We didn't get plates for our wings so we used the paper towels on the table. She also was the one to give us our boxes. If it wasn't for the other girl I would've given way less stars. Let's get down to the food. We ordered mild wings, deep dish pizza with green chile, pepperoni, mushroom, and sides of ranch and blue cheese Wings came out VERY quickly which was nice since I knew the pizza would take a bit. They were nice but nothing outstanding for the ranch it actually tasted pretty bland. The pizza was really good if you love an extremely cheesy pizza, sauce was great and the crust! Also I'm a big green chile fan and really appreciated they have actual green chiles not the crap that comes in a can. Overall solid food, service will be hit or miss.

12" Kitchen Sink Pizza (deep dish)
    Genevieve M.

I'm super picky about pizza ... but here I literally had everything picked off my plate! So darn good! We had the deep dish Kitchen Sink ... the cheese, the gooey cheese, the dough, the garlic in the sauce, the heavy laden slice... I could go on. Bottom line- delicious belly stuffing pizza! Also tried the wings(hot) and spicy hot sticks. A couple things about the wings: delicious and don't order hot unless you enjoy a savory spice level.., this is not typical wing sauce... this is house made sauce that is flavorful and with a good kick. They do offer milder wings... but if you are a spicy wing person- worth trying. The cannoli and cheesecake were a great way to round out the meal- but we barely touched it as we were so full. Chicago vibes, fun tshirts, decent bar options, and overall just a great experience. Will be returning to try other items on the menu and highly recommend.

Came by at 8 and it looks like they were closed? Online said they're open till 10. Anyone know if they changed their hours? Came all the way from Benson :(

Is the gluten free crust egg free? and is it dairy free?

Dont know - suggest you call & ask.

I moved away from Tucson and haven't been to Rocco's in over a decade - anyone know if they still have their 'assburner' wings? (These aren't the 'hot' level, rather a thing of beauty beyond all heat levels ever known, and I find that I miss them.)

    Still got 'em!

Very well balanced, a lot of effort went into it. We had 30 min wait in small upstairs area for our table on a Thursday night. They don't have much waiting area, most nights you have to wait outside. It was over a 100 after the sun went down, so I'm glad there was room available. Ordered the vodka chicken Parmesan and the burrata. They were both amazing. The pasta that came with the chicken Parmesan was super tender light, tasted fresh. Their pasta is all handmade daily. All the ingredients were simple and fresh for the burrata. The pesto was chunky and gave a good texture contrast. The tomatoes were very flavorful, olive oil and balsamic were all high quality. Very flavorful dish. I liked that you could order a half order. We wanted to try it, with two entrees a full order would have been too much. I would definitely return for both. Tried the pepperoni, sausage and jalapeño pizza and it was good as well. It's very toasty and dark on the crust, made in a a very high temperature pizza oven. We had some leftover pizza to take home. I was definitely more impressed with their pasta, good handmade pasta at an affordable price is hard to find. Would definitely go back if we are ever in the area and try other items. My sister ordered a salad and she had to modify some things due to her auto immune condition. It got screwed up, but the server was so apologetic and they fixed it. We were seated right away since it wasn't busy, and things started off simple enough with bread and oil. We asked for parmesan to go with it, and our server seemed unsure how to respond, eventually bringing out packet parm even though fresh was clearly available. Not a huge deal, but we found it odd. A little later, we asked for more bread. The server told us they were out but, "that they could probably make more". . He relayed it to the woman handling bread, who then made more for another table and skipped us entirely. He mentioned it again to her when he saw us looking in their direction. she looked over, and still nothing. It was awkward, since the restaurant is the size of a closet. Once the pizza came, we got up ourselves to ask for more oil and parmesan, since our waiter hadn't come to check back. We got the oil instantly since we brought us the bowl, but no parmesan. At one point my son asked for bread, again, finally it came and the server literally tossed it on the table without a word. We said thank you and he completely ignored all of us. It didn't get any better from there. The bill was dropped on the table without a word either. My husband and I kept looking at each other with confused looks. We turned the bill in with our CC, and once the server returned it, same thing, not a single interaction. We also watched the same server make another table feel like an inconvenience over something as simple as asking for a bottle of Coke instead of a can. The customer ended up backing down just to avoid the hassle. The server then told the guest, "it's fine, I can get it for you!" On top of that, staff were wearing gloves while handling food, but also touching chairs, phones, and other surfaces; kind of defeats the purpose I think? My boys also had a weird interaction with a staff near the bathrooms who was very rude to them and accused them of cutting the line, despite no one waiting. It was very strange. Bottom line: the food is incredible, no question. But the service was so bad it's hard to ignore. Best advice, get it to go and skip the experience inside.

Absolutely Worth the Drive!…read more We were visiting from West Phoenix and decided to try Falora Pizza, and I'm so glad we did! This place is definitely worth the drive. It's a smaller restaurant, but it's beautiful inside and has such a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The music was lovely, and the whole place had a really nice vibe. We ordered the Margherita pizza, Bianca pizza, Gnocchi, Piastra zucchini noodles, two sodas, and a Prosecco. Everything we tried was so good! The pizza crust was one of my favorite parts. It was cooked perfectly and had that nice little crunch without being too hard. The Margherita was delicious, and the Bianca was just as good. The Piastra zucchini noodles with house-made pesto, heirloom cherry tomatoes and spinach were AMAZING! I'm honestly still thinking about them. The Gnocchi with shiitake mushrooms, vegetable broth and ginger glaze was also delicious and something a little different. We had four dishes, drinks and Prosecco, and our total was under $99, which I thought was a great price for everything we enjoyed. I also thought it was really cool that when you check out, there's an option to claim a neighborhood reward through Cash App that can be used with participating local businesses or toward coming back to Falora. I love seeing ways to support local businesses and the neighborhood. Overall, we had such a great experience. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, delicious pizza and a crust that was cooked just right.

After grabbing a drink next door at Sidecar, I was pleased to see that Falora was open just a few steps away. It's a tiny place, but we were able to be sat immediately at the communal table. We ordered a couple of drinks and started with the butter pecan salad. This was so yummy. I loved the goat cheese and the apricot dressing. It was definitely a refreshing choice for this hot summer day. We also split a couple of pizzas: the marinara and the Margherita. Both of these were topped with fresh basil and the crust was perfect perfectly crispy. Like all woodfired pizza, it does have a little bit of a char to it, but I love that. Overall, the service here was great and I would definitely come back. It also looks like you can order pizza to go and take it to the cocktail lounge next door. There's plenty of parking here, but it does get packed on a Friday night. There's some outdoor seating but on a rainy night it can get pretty cramped inside.

I would be remiss not to mention the house made rigatoni! I've only had it with vodka sauce, which is too delicious for me to risk venturing out to others. We started with the ABG salad that surprised me because I'm usually not a big fan of Gorgonzola, but the combination of green apple, pecan brittle, and cheese worked really well together and made for a great balance of flavors. For the pizza, we ordered the mushroom pizza and added pepperoni. The sauce was excellent I believe was some sort of a garlic/oil white sauce the mushroom portion was generous which I absolutely love, and the crust was exactly what I look for crunchy on the outside while still soft and slightly sweet inside. My only minor complaint with the toppings is that the $4 pepperoni add on felt a bit light, we only had a 2 or 3 slices per piece. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that our pizza was just slightly overcooked. The bottom was charred all the way around; wasn't burnt to the point of sending it back, but definitely left in the oven a minute or two longer than it needed to be. It wasn't busy when we visited, and it seemed like the employee rotating pizzas was a little more focused on chatting with FOH coworkers than keeping an eye on the oven. I've worked in pizza restaurants for nearly a decade, so I may be a bit more particular than most customers. Realistically, if our pizza had come out even a minute earlier, it would have been a 10/10 meal. That said, I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back. The quality is there, and I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu in the future.

It's the kind of place that works perfectly for date night, a special occasion, or even just treating yourself to a really good meal. The hospitality really stood out to me. Everyone was welcoming and made the entire experience feel comfortable and thoughtful. And the food was easily the highlight. Everything we tried was packed with flavor and tasted fresh. I also really appreciated having options for different lifestyles. If you're looking for something lower carb, definitely check out the zoodle dishes. They still had so much flavor and didn't feel like you were missing out on anything. My personal favorite was the pesto ravioli. The pesto was so flavorful and it's absolutely something I would order again. If you're in Tucson and looking for a cozy spot with great hospitality, an intimate atmosphere, and genuinely delicious food, Renée's is definitely worth checking out.
