We have been building a house for the past 6 months, so we spend a lot of time at building supply businesses. I have to say although the selection is limited, they basically have 1 type of each standard cabinetry color (white, natural wood, brown-orange, dark brown, and grey), they provide good service. Anyone who has built a house and had to deal with these suppliers know that it's not an easy process and building suppliers are strangely unhelpful, at Ohana they are pretty consistent and continuously provide you solutions to your many questions and concerns. Before Ohana, we spent too much time and wasted some money. I am not going to detail our ordeal. We just wanted to thank Ohana for making our kitchen contracting job finally over! We communicated with Rosell. She is experienced, knows what they could, created a tentative estimate right there with our kitchen measurement. They had a special 35% cabinet discount, and I found a 45% discount on paper that was applied. Henry and Rosell did a final measurement and gave us some ideas. The job was done in 3 weeks, actual working days were 7 days. TIP1: If you find better discount somewhere, inform that! TIP2: Make sure to put your name and date on your granite where others could see, or someone could override. TIP3: Workers are experienced and polite, do an excellent job but you might find some faults. Check their works and inform the faults to be corrected. TIP4: Workers are Chinese, and do not speak much English. This is not for everybody. As long as you know exactly what you want and you watch their work closely, the value for the money is great. read more

Customer service was good in the beginning...salesperson made everything sounds nice...but will not give you options. As soon as I thought of other options, and asked the sales person, there was a fee to change. Oh and there is a 10% fee if you decide not to get something and then a fee the ychange. Lesson learned, gather ALL you info before buying anything bc they will not be nice once you change your mind. Worst of all, all the installer speak chinese! "Very little english"...Basically I had to yell "STOP" as they tried to install my quarts countertop with no support??!! If it breaks, Im sure they would not replace it...since I was already getting bad service from them. I had to call my contractor to help them to install it. Really??!! I had to pay installers $1700 and my contractor on the side!!! I should have paid my contractor to do the full job, but wait they wanted to charge $900 to deliver the quartz. Like I said, I should have went with my better judgement and just paid my contractor to do the full job! Anyhow, the back splash is NOT centered! The tops on side of my stove was NOT leveled (I stopped that one in time too). I emailed the salesperson multiple times, asking to speak to manager/owner. She kept pushing it off. She finally emails me back, saying the owner will call me, I never got the call. I was too upset to call and keep trying, so everything went thru email. I spent $6500 on cabs and countertops that I hate!! Also, when they delivered cabs, boxes said a specific count of knobs and shelf tabs, when we opened it, super inaccurate!!! Literally! 5 short knobs, 6 short shelf tabs???!! Before you go, know exactly what you want. If u buy something, make sure all material is given. Also have knowledge of installation, they might install something permanently wrong!! read more

I normally don't do this but I really feel Carrie at Ohana Building Supply deserves this! Carrie did the leg work as she came over when the estimator was on vacation. She not only did the measuring but sent the drawings and estimate within three hours time, as I was still waiting for her competitors to respond. She had the project started and completed in record time. She was there to answer any questions whether she was at work or off for the weekend. We had a great experience with Amber during our cabinet & quartz purchase. We did a a kitchen & 1/2 bath redo & Amber was the best agent we have worked with. She did & answered all our challenges & changes that come with a remodel. I had a HORRIBLE experience with them. Rochelle is INCOMPETENT. And the guy they sent to do the installation didn't know what he was doing. And since he didn't speak a word of English, I couldn't communicate with him at all, which was super frustrating. He would show up on days he wasn't scheduled to and NOT show up on days that he was supposed to be there, which really sucks when I took off work to be home for the install. They were late on the start date by 2 weeks and took a month longer than they originally said. And the workmanship was SHODDY. Please see attached photos. They didn't finish the job, they made verbal promises they never followed through with, the "quotes" had things crossed off and handwritten in, they never gave me a single receipt, but would charge my credit card without my consent (when they took down my credit card info over the phone they said it was just for a deposit, but they charged the full amount). No idea how they have a high rating on here. I highly doubt the 5 star ratings are actual customers. They have to either be employees, family, or friends. read more

We love the remodeling work done by Ohana Building Supply!!! Thanks to Gary Leung and his crew, they did a fantastic job transforming our 360 square-feet studio from nothing to a luxury condo. We really appreciate it. It is a very tough job since our unit is on a high-rise building with very little workable space but that did not stop Gary to perform an excellent job. Like most remodeling job, obstacle raised during the process but Gary worked really hard to overcome all of the obstacles and in a timely manner. The quality of the cabinets are hard to beat. Hardwood and ply with dovetail joints instead of MDF/particle board with glue and brads. All with soft close hardware for drawers and cabinet doors. Price for the cabinets included choices of drawer and cabinet pulls for each drawer and cabinet. We did a three bathroom remodel, ordered and paid for the cabinets, quartz countertops and 3 undermount sinks. We were going to demo the baths, paint, tile, set the cabinets then Ohana would come in to measure and set the countertops and sinks. Although we paid of the labor and installation along with the materials the final push didn't happen for over 18 months (life happens :-P ). We dropped in at their showroom and spoke to Tony. Tony and Ohana Builders still honored the original price we paid even with a signed contract stating the price was good for 3 months. I'm certain material cost, overhead and labor all went up during that time but Tony and the crew were more than happy to finish the project for us for no extra cost. This is the second time we've used them and I'm sure it won't be the last. read more
