Marcello is great!!! I was in a situation where I needed to get my carpet cleaned because I was moving and I needed to do it ASAP!!! He was able to squeeze me in for me the same day I called. I've done other carpet cleaning and he got out stains the others missed!! I don't know how he did it, but I'm thankful. It took him less than an hour to do 4 rooms (including closets), the hallway and stairs. The carpets look fantastic and all the pet stains/smells are gone. Marcelo came to clean our 1 bedroom, 1 stairway! He did it in under an hour and was super friendly. He also quoted us 150 for carpet cleaning and a flea and tick treatment, which is WAY cheaper than anyone else on island and I couldn't even find another company that did the flea and tick treatment. He got up all the stubborn pet hair from my Doberman and cats! I highly recommend him to anyone on island looking to have a wonderful job done on their carpets. I cannot say enough about Marcelo and the job he did at our home, he came in to do clean up after our house flooded and did an amazing job. He was very fast and did all our rooms in the house, we were worried that there would be musty odors in the carpet but he used some cleaner to kill mold and mildew and after the drying there were no odors at all. I had a REALLY good experience with Marcelo the owner today. Our appointment was at noon but he was in the area and called me saying he was available sooner if I wanted which was great because it allowed me to move on with my day sooner. He was very courteous, polite and professionally dressed. He worked meticulously and consistently and cleaned my suede-like sofa and ottoman very well. I was amazed that he could get all of the dirt out without having to scrub. His wet vac is very powerful. He focused on doing his job and I was able to work without interruption. He did small considerate things like warning me about the noise the machine was about to make and not wearing his shoes in the house even though I said it was ok. I also didn't feel like he was price gouging me or trying to be greedy. He could've charged me more for the job but did not. His prices are cheaper than Sears. Marcelo was easy to reach on the phone despite my efforts with Sears who I only got on the phone once in 2 days and I repeatedly got their voice mail. I would HIGHLY recommend Marcelo. Like I said he does a great job, the cleansers he uses smell great, he's professional and punctual and he has good energy about him. I hired him based on Yelp reviews that I read and I have to agree and more. I should also note that he drove all the way from the north shore to Honolulu to do my couch. I didn't know that until after he arrived but I wasn't charged extra for that. KUDOS!!! read more

My boyfriend scheduled an appointment for today at 11AM with Marcelo. Marcelo ended up finishing a little bit earlier from his other client & said he'd be at our place at 1030AM. With having carpet & our dogs thinking they can pee & pop wherever, we ended up having pee odor, poop stain & blood stains(because my dog ended up getting pregnant) But anyways, he seriously got the job done! I believe he took about an hour or less. I most definitely recommend other people to get your carpet cleaned from him. He took his time to clean up all the stains we had & didn't rush it. Marcelo is AWESOME! He does great work and cares about the quality of his service and product. He can also do jobs that are pregnancy friendly and child friendly. My wife is pregnant and we have a 8 month old child. We were concerned about chemicals used for cleaning carpets after their health. So Marcelo offered to steam clean the carpets with white vinegar. The carpets looked fabulous after cleaning and we had the peace of mind that no dangerous chemicals were used. He also offers military discounts. I requested quotes from the top 5 carpet cleaners on Yelp. Based on square feet (apples to apples), Ohana had the best price. I scheduled early with Marcello via Ohana's website and called to confirm the night before. On that day (4/19/14), he was running late from the North Shore, so he called to update me. I moved most of my stuff off of the carpet myself and he helped me move the larger/heavier furniture when he arrived (no charge). With the carpets mostly cleared of obstructions (master bed, guest bed, living and dining rooms), he effectively and efficiently cleaned the carpet in record time! I saw the gunk the he removed/flushed down the toilet and I was glad it was done. I paid via credit card. In about 4-5 hours the carpet was mostly dry (windy day), and it felt, smelt and looked cleaner than the day we moved in. Marcello is an easy going, easy to talk to professional whom I highly recommend. I will definitely call him in about a year to maintain the cleanliness/appearance of our carpets. read more

Got some rooms cleaned and honestly, I thought I'd be able to tell the difference but the carpeting looked exactly the same. My carpeting is 5 years old and this is the first time we've had it cleaned. They were able to get out some black marks in one room. But one of the other rooms, the carpeting next to my sons bed looks bunched up. He used to sit and lay on the floor there for the past five years so my guess is that it's all from his body oil. We just had our carpet cleaned yesterday. They came right on time and set up quickly. I hadn't had my carpet cleaned (2 story house) in 3 years and I used this same company and they did a fantastic job. So by now my carpet was stained and really dirty. I was considering buying a new carpet, but after viewing the completed job, I don't have to for a long time. They got the stains out and the rug is lovely again-nice and fluffy and regained its brightness. The cost was very reasonable. And because they used 2 people-it was quick! Tenant moved out and I needed to get the carpet shampooed on short notice. Didn't want to show it to prospective tenants without it being shampooed as you only get one chance to make a first impression. I called and left a message on Sunday to Ohana and another company with lots of reviews. Only Marcello, owner of Ohana CleanUp called me back on a Sunday. He offered to come by Thursday, and when I asked if he could come sooner, he offered Tuesday. He and his assistant were on time, efficient, and very professional. The carpet was new last year and now had some depressions that were difficult to get out. I saw Marcello work extra hard on the areas with the depressions and also on the entry to the apartment and by the lanai, which get more foot traffic. A job well done quickly! read more
