I'm honestly very shocked that this company received five stars and yet, I had a pretty mediocre experience. None of my stains were removed from my dogs (and they aren't even terrible stains) and he counted a short hallway as a room. Usually I rent a carpet cleaning machine and solutions and do the cleaning of our condo carpets myself but every once in awhile the need for a quality job exceeds the limitations of my skills and the low quality of the rental equipment. That's when I call in a professional. Not an exciting project, a pain in the tail feathers actually what with prepping the area to get the maximum clean in the the minimum time. My motto is just get 'er done and over with. So, in part, this 5 star review is to recognize a job done well with little fuss, no muss, absolutely no drama and plenty of competence. I call, we agree a day and time (within 3 days of calling!), the service man shows up, knows what he is doing, is cordial and neat and proceeds to whip that carpet into submission. Less than an hour later all 500 square feet are clean and fresh and starting to dry. Write check ($150), say bye-bye and continue my life. When the carpet is dry it looks terrific and all are happy. Our carpets were gross...that's basically all there was to it. Though I vacuum regularly it just seems like you can't keep carpet clean - especially with a husband and a dog! Although it was a Saturday, Marcelo answered right away, and after describing what I needed he gave me a rough estimate. Awesome! I called the number for Ohana Clean-Up that was printed on a magnet left behind by the previous tenant of my studio. No answer on the first attempt so I left a detailed message requesting for a quote on a carpet shampoo for my very, very small place. The owner, Marcelo, returned my call shortly after and provided me with a quote which I believed to be reasonable (unfortunately, I only have quotes in CA and WA to compare it to). What mattered most was that he was able to fit me in on short notice. I asked for Saturday, but he wasn't available but offered to complete it on Friday. Luckily, my schedule was flexible...so was his, he became available about 90 minutes earlier and and offered to stop by earlier than my reserved time, which was fine by me! Very courteous and extremely easy to work with. It was even completed way quicker than I was expecting. Received not only a carbon copy invoice but also an invoice electronically sent to my phone.
