You can tell the machines are all stocked by people who actually lift because every single one is top notch. It seems like recently word has come back out that this place is the spot to lift in Concord, as I've noticed it's been getting busier over the last few months. With that being said, even at 6 pm I never have trouble finding a free machine or bench. Unfortunately (not sure if this is correlated) prices have gone up and a monthly membership is 80 dollars, and this is just to lift. Of course it is cheaper if you get a 3 or 12 month membership, but I can no longer personally justify spending so much on a no frills gym.

They said I can sign up at another location with my membership. I called the concord location and was told by the trainer who was male that I have to "Transfer" my membership to their location. What is the point of the black membership then. I asked him I thought my membership allows me to go to any planet fitness even to use the classes because that's what Walnut Creek told me. He said no not for the classes and I would have to transfer my home membership to them. Yeah no. Not doing that. Why tell people they can go somewhere else if they do not have it at their location for the other location to say no I have to transfer to them..

The studio layout, the updated version of the great OTF treads, the coaches, space, and more... so great! The workout (thread, rower, floor/dumbbell exercises) is the same in all/most locations and the template switches each day. What makes it different or enjoyable to you is how hard you decide to push yourself. There are days where I would go comfortably, take some chill days, and few days I'll really try. The coaches are all certified and the ability to pay attention to each member in each class is such a skill. They correct form and give tips so that we don't get injured, etc. Love it. OTF PH also has the widest range of class times in comparison to other east bay studios, which I super appreciate.
