I needed an oil change urgently before going out of town and it was a Sunday, so I was pretty stressed trying to find a place that was open. I called and spoke with John, who was incredibly helpful and confirmed they were open on Sundays. I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived about 30 minutes before closing (they close at 5 PM on Sundays), and they still took me in without hesitation. The team was very careful while working on my Mercedes and made sure everything was done correctly. I was able to watch through the window while they worked, and they took their time to make sure everything was done right and that no mistakes were made. They even checked extra things like my tires, which I really appreciated. After the service, my car ran like a top on my trip out of town. That gave me a lot of confidence. The prices are very reasonable, and they even had a $7 coupon available. Overall, I feel comfortable trusting them with my vehicle and wanted others to know about the good service I received. I've been here several times to have my wife's Toyota 4Runner worked on. They have done a pretty good job overall. I most recently had new brakes put on the car. The price seemed to be competitive with other places around. The guys working here were very nice. We've had some oil changes completed here with no issues. I recently called regarding a new battery for this car and I was given a quote that was pretty high. At least $200 higher than a couple other places in town. I'm not sure if the guy was just estimating and didn't take the time to get an exact quote, but I definitely found a battery with a 4 year warranty a lot cheaper elsewhere. I was referred to this place by another oil changing station. Upon arrival, I spent little time waiting for a person to have me park so that I could join the cue of people waiting for services. After speaking to her, I entered the waiting area to find that it was clean, had lots of seating but also that the waiting room was full of people. I happen to come on a Friday afternoon and prepared for a long wait. I can't say that I timed how long I was in the waiting room, but it felt like only 15 mins! In May 2025 I got an oil change here and they didn't put the skid plate back on correctly. I felt it flapping against the car when I drove on the freeway. When I brought it back, they said it "broke" but I didn't need it anyway and put it in my trunk. After I drove home, my car spilled all the oil out in the garage. Jiffy Lube confirmed that they broke the skid plate and didn't put the plug back correctly. Oil Changers would not give me a refund. read more

This little gem I found on Saturday in the gallery area. All I needed was a state inspection but what I did do is ask other customers in the waiting room their opinion on service. As a pleasant surprise, everyone had glowing comments about this team of veteran mechanics. In peering through the customer lounger, which was clean and quiet, the mechanics seem to be under control, deliberate and organized. The bay stations looked immaculate. While they didn't have the energy level you see at a Discount Tire, they seemed to be doing repairs and oil changes effectively to have happy customers. The shop is a little hard to see off highway 71, it is kind of tucked away. It's before the intersection of 71 and beecaves if you are coming up 71 from the west. PSA: PLEASE do not patronize Oil Changers and Repair in Bee Cave (galleria area). They also own what used to be Arbor Car Wash (across from the Bee Cave HEB). Their gross negligence TOTALED my vehicle. The car was in near perfect condition before I brought it to them for a simple oil change. I stopped by for a routine oil change earlier this year. They did not tighten the drain plug properly which caused a scary situation a few days later when the plug fell out and the engine oil completely drained out. They had to come to my house to fix it as the vehicle was not drivable. During this emergency service they managed to loosen the transmission drain plug. Next time I drove the vehicle, the car began jerking around on the highway and I could barely get it to a safe spot to pull over. I had to call a tow company to bring the vehicle to my mechanic. Mechanic confirmed that this was caused by Oil Changers and documented the damage. The mechanic mentioned this is not the first time they have seen this happen for the same reason/same company. They have accepted zero responsibility and refused to even refund me for the oil change (after I had to get a lawyer involved). I was only asking for damages of the original oil change and the mechanic/tow company fees. A tiny fraction of the cost to replace a vehicle that was paid off in full. read more

Watch out. Crazy....Their price for a standard oil change is $110. You can go to Qualtech down the street and get the same oil change for $60. This place attempts to up charge you on all kind of unnecessary maintenance items. When I got presented the bill I brought to the managers attention that Qualtech oil change is $60 and could he price match or at least bring it a little closer and he didn't respond. This is the only place I'll get my oil changed now. I've never had to wait long and they have chairs, popcorn and coffee while you do. All the guys are super nice and thorough. I usually get some other routine maintenance/upkeep done as well and prices are reasonable. I made the horrible mistake of taking my infant daughter with me to Sun Auto one time for an oil change and I literally waited 2 hours walking around the parking lot with her only to find out they had "forgotten about me." Waited over an hour for a basic oil change. They tried to up-sell me an oil flush(?) because my oil was "really dirty". When I declined, the service writer was visibly annoyed. No one went near my car for a half an hour. 60 bucks for no name bulk oil and a no name filter. That's fine. But when I got my car back, the seat was moved all the way back, the environmental controls were all changed and the air vents were moved. Very unprofessional. read more

I went to change the engine oil for my Kia Optima before hitting the road to San Antonio and after they took my car Tom Lewis showed me other stuff that needs to be replaced Which was the engine and air filters that were really dirty and old and the engine oil was black. Also the coolant liquid was a little low so I listened to his advise and asked him to replace the filters and change the oil for sure before traveling to my destination. If I could sue these jerks... I took my car in because it was misfiring, they quoted me $636 to replace the coil pack, including the $128 for the diagnostic check. They gave it back because I couldn't afford to do the work at the time and the coil pack was new-ish and it was under warranty, so I was gonna see about getting the part and having a friend do the work. I haven't been driving it for weeks, I've had to cancel important doctor's visits, and thank God I homeschool my son or we would have been in real trouble. Tonight my brother-in-law opened the hood and the ENTIRE AIR INTAKE WAS DISCONNECTED. They gave it back to me more broken than when I gave it to them! Needless to say, I am LIVID. Any half decent mechanic would know that having the air intake loose like that would cause misfires. My brother-in-law said they sabotaged both of the cars that he brought them so he wasn't surprised at all. Thanks, Chris! I will be speaking to your manager. I wouldn't take FREE repairs from you at this point and I will warn everyone away from you. read more

Service people are friendly and the location is convenient and they are open on Saturday...so that's worth a few stars. Just be cautious and check your receipt (which I didn't) as I asked for blended oil, confirmed with a nice guy doing the actual work, and then was rung up by a difference person that charged me for full synthetic oil. Next day when I discovered this I talked with the GM (Rick I believe he said his name was) and he couldn't give me a refund for the difference between synthetic and blend, instead I got a promise to receive a discount on my next oil change 3 months from now. The inability for their point-of-sale system to process refunds like any other store could have made a rather pleasant encounter turn sour. I don't think I can dispute a portion of a bill with the credit card company and they did do some work, so don't want to dispute the charge...just don't like being told the only way to get my money back for the overcharge is to pay for their services again. :( really just wanted to drive in and get my $20 back. (They also didn't process the $7 coupon I presented on my phone.) read more

I have come to Service One in Bee Cave several times now, as they have earned status as my "go to" place! They provide outstanding customer service on top of excellent work and fair affordable prices. The crew at Service One are happy to take your car on a first come, first serve basis. When my brakes broke down last night, I called Rick at Service one, who was genuinely concerned and was able to take my car right away. He gave me a loaner so I could still make my kids football game, and I'm leaving now with a repaired car and a smile on my face. Prior to visiting the location, I called to see if I needed an appointment for an inspection. They said they don't take appointments. No problem; I can wait a bit, if necessary. I stopped by on Saturday, 6/24 for the inspection. I waited in the unattended office/lobby for 10 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone, so I left. During the time I stood there at the desk, I could see 4-5 employees working in the bay since there are large windows between the office/lobby and the bay. At one point, an employee came into the office/lobby to speak to a customer regarding the status of their vehicle. The employee did not acknowledge me before returning to the bay. read more
