I'm not one who writes reviews but the community needs to know about this great place. I shopped around for a few days to get quotes (from $990- $1440) on the clutch that went bad on my Toyota. Every shop told me it was a 7 hour job. I took the most affordable quote from Kyle Automotive Service Center. I was pleased when the shop called 4 hours later to tell me it was fixed. I picked up my Toyota and was surprised to find out it was cheaper than he originally quoted me because he got the job done sooner than expected. I was also excited to find out that the shop replaced the clutch, timing belt, and oil all under the original $990 quote. He commented that he knew I was leaving town for the holidays and wanted me safe on the road. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and care I received from this shop. Great and HONEST service. Took my truck in for a blown spark plug. I'm new to the Kyle area and needed a repair shop. I have FOUND IT in Kyle Automotive. Brian is the owner and great to work with. They could have said they had to remove the head and tap out the plug hold, But they did not and instead used a less expensive repair, which is working great. Great price for the repair. I've taken my car here multiple times for jobs that aren't necessarily easy since I have an old car with some rust. They are by far the best repair shop I've been to. They always get the job done right and at a fair price. The service is absolutely exceptional. They stick to their quote and won't overcharge you for unnecessary work or work you don't want done. They also keep you updated on when your car will be finished and are just really kind in general. As a younger lady, it's really refreshing to have found a shop that always has friendly staff and I genuinely trust. Can't recommend this place more. This place was my absolute pleasure to experience! Went separate times for a Ford-150, Volkswagen Jetta, and Hyundai Venue. The caged were knowledgeable, friendly, and impressively quick. They always let you know upfront all the services needed and the costs. My Jetta had been giving me so much trouble with the brakes, and I was constantly told by other auto shops that they were fine. Kyle Automative found the issue the same day I took it in, needed a repair on tires and a set of new brakes. These guys are true pros! read more

I had a Ford F-150 that nobody could figure out . I had three mechanics look at it and they would get that deer in the headlight look. One of those was a dealership that dealt with Ford Trucks. So, I ended up at Kyle Automotive and that turned out to be a pleasure. They got it running and they also did some extra work that needed to be done. When I got the bill, I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable it was. Christi at the front desk was super nice and so I have gone back ever since. I wont go anywhere else. read more

We knew my granddaughters cars AC had a leak and Husband fitted the hose with my son, and did everything they needed to do vacuum it out, wait 45 mins to see if it holds pressure anyway it did. The added Freon and it started blowing cold air.. my son thought one of the cans of Freon had leaked so they added more and then it stopped blowing cold.. so then hubby thought it could be compresser or something else high item things.. so we decided to take it to Kyle Automotive, called Monday spoke with Christi and booked an appointment for Thursday today. I spoke with Brian the owner and we explained everything we had done so far and left it with them. They called around 3:30pm and said that it had too much Freon in it ! it had No leaks and needed vacuum and so added correct amount of Freon 0.95 lbs is all it needs.. and cost was under $200 and it's fixed. I highly recommend Kyle Automotive honest repair job well done. They actually could have overcharged us.. As at this point we had no idea ‍.. I drove it home and it made my ears cold. My Granddaughter can now be cool in Texas heat. They also checked out a clicking noise that we mentioned and told us what that was. I'm so happy that we have found a Good honest repair shop that we for sure will go back too with any of our vehicles Thank you Kyle Automotive we sure do appreciate you. read more

My first experience with Kyle Automotive was just great! A dealer's service department told me I needed to pay them $2200 to keep my car in good working order. I called Kyle Automotive, read the quote to them and was told my charges would come to $1500 for the same work! Took the car in and got a call a couple hours later. I was told by Kyle Automotive that my car didn't need everything that was outlined in the dealer's quote and my final charges would be $658!!! My car is working very well and I'm happy!! I'll be going back to Kyle Automotive from now on!!!!! Honest, thorough, good people, good work.....I highly recommend Kyle Automotive!!! I can't possibly say enough good things about Brian and his crew at Kyle Automotive. Brian is very honest and fair. He has worked on our Mustangs for 7+ years and has always done an INCREDIBLE job, but now we have him work on our daily driver too. We were recently quoted a price of $1300 for repair work at different garage in Austin, so we immediately decided to bring it to Brian instead. It turns out our car really only needed about $200 worth of work. Once again he proves himself to be not only a great mechanic, but an honest one which is very hard to find. Thanks again Brian! We took our car after dealership did outrageous bid on repairs as my sister referred us to them. Half which were not needed at all. (Gunn Infiniti ). These guys are absolutely amazing. Their service is wonderful, they are so nice and understanding and you cannot beat their prices or their honesty. I walked in and told them I couldn't open my hood for an oil change I needed to get done. And within the next hour they had the hood opened and the oil changed!! I'm so thankful that their are still businesses like this that won't give you the run around. I would recommend them to anyone who needs any service done. I took my truck in for what I anticipated was a really bad problem. It turns out it was not that big a deal and one that only required a quick trip to the tire shop. I appreciate their honesty and timeliness and to top it off, they didn't charge me their diagnostic fee. I realize I cannot speak to the quality of their work since I didn't have any done on my truck, but they have earned the chance to do so in the future. My rear brakes needed to be replaced and I called several places and all quotes were at least $350 or higher. I called Kyle automotive and they blew me out of the water with a quote at $270. I read the reviews and took my car in and had my car the same day. Kyle Automotive is by far the best automotive shop I have been too. I love how Brian and Christie (his wife) interacted with me. He is honest, upfront, and trustworthy. I will be back to get my front brakes done. Brian uses quality parts without charging and arm and a leg. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for finding Brian and Kyle Automotive Center. After being let down by two other mechanics and stressed out for two weeks I found this shop. I needed my car towed since it was in my garage in pieces, Brian showed up at my house to make sure everything was secure enough for the tow truck and I didn't have pieces of my engine flying off or any bolts missing. He explained throughly what needed to be done, communicated throughout the whole process and made sure he fixed all issues to get me back on the road. My SUV ended up needing more than expected originally but he took pictures to prove why and explained how much it would be. It probably would have cost me over $1000 at other places, but Kyle Automotive is a family run local shop who cares about their customers and not screwing people over. If you want friendly, honest service do yourself a favor and make this autocenter your go to for all of your vehicle needs. They have my business now forever! Brought my car in bc the check engine light was one (typically $75 diagnostic fee). Turns out it was a tripped emissions sensor so they ended up only charging me $35. Super friendly service, and they explained everything in an easy to understand manner. read more
