You…read morehave the option to either wait inside or sit in your car while it gets done and depending on how busy it is, that's how I decide. I was the only one there so I just stayed in my car. It's usually pretty fast so it's convenient for me to be able to just sit in the car while it gets done. The techs are really nice and explain what is being done as they go. I get the same service done every time so they go off of my license plate when I pull up and just ask me if that is ok and have me sign and date the form and proceed with the oil change. Before they're finished they let me know everything they have completed and if anything needs to be looked at or if I need to monitor anything for the next time. My rear right tire was low on pressure so they added air and made sure I was made aware to keep a look out for that in case that was something I may need to replace. Pricing is pretty comparable to other places so that's a plus. You pay and the receipt along with breakdown is provided and you're on your way. I always ask them to turn off my service light cause my car is fairly old and it doesn't come off automatically. The guys are nice and do it and give me my next service sticker and I'm off. Quick and easy and never an issue. I would definitely recommend coming here!

It turned out my tire was destroyed and couldn't be reasonably patched and they were able to provide me a similar used replacement tire, all for a very reasonable cost. Luckily, I saw that there was a spot close by that patch tires called Larry's Tire Express. I checked in and sure enough they were happy to help, got my car on a jack and quickly took off the tire and found a nail. They patched it and put it back on in about 15 minutes. From the moment I arrived until I left was probably around 20 to 25 minutes and they charged $35 for the patch. They were able to meet my needs and they all seemed pretty friendly. I'm glad I saw Larry's when I looked up a place nearby :)

I had no qualms about the oil change. They put my car on a lift. He seemed to take slightly longer than I usually expect but did blow off leaves and other debris that had accumulated in or around under the hood. There was a sandwich board sign posted offering oil changes for $49.95 for most cars but I knew with my car it was more. I paid $85.00 but I'm not complaining. That's around the going rate.

I had a disappointing experience at Big O Tires in Pinole. I…read morecame in because I found a nail completely embedded in my tire on my 2022 Honda Insight. My tire pressure light never came on, so I suspected the nail hadn't punctured through. The guy at the front counter was actually very nice and helpful with checking me in. But when I went to the back where the tire workers were, one of the techs told me my car "doesn't have tire pressure sensors." That is completely false MY 2022 Honda Insight DOES have TPMS. Then they tried to tell me I needed a whole new tire for $280 without showing me any real damage. The attitude from the workers in the back made it seem like they assumed I didn't know anything simply because I'm a young woman. It felt very dismissive and unprofessional. I trusted my gut and went across the street to NFS Tires for a second opinion. The tech there removed the nail, sealed the hole, patched the tire correctly and charged me $45. He confirmed the tire was totally fine and did NOT need to be replaced. Big O Tires gave me incorrect information about my own vehicle and tried to upsell me unnecessarily. Meanwhile, NFS Tires was honest, quick, and affordable. If you're in Pinole, go to NFS Tires instead they actually treat customers fairly.

He finally said, "how can I help you" after a few moments of awkward silence, when I craned my neck out and farrowed my brow in confusion. I said, "I have a service light on in my dashboard and I've noticed the transmission is making an odd sound. I'm wondering if I could leave my car with you and you can check it out and let me know what might be going on." Employee: "oh...yeah. I'm not sure we can. We are pretty slammed today..." I open my mouth to start to ask about an opening the next day but I'm interrupted by the employee. Employee: "and probably not tomorrow. I have like 9 cars coming in tomorrow."
