DO NOT HAVE YOUR A/C serviced at the location on 30th. I can't speak for the other locations. Here's the hustle: You ask for an air conditioning recharge. Employee explains that first there is a $39.99 inspection fee to determine whether or not the system itself works and simply needs a recharge. If that turns out to be the case, the $39.99 (which is really $43.55) will be deducted from the price of the recharge. AFTER the system inspection, the employee checks a number on a sticker which is pasted to the underside of the car's hood. That number needs to match the one on Quick Lube's recharging equipment -- but wait! The number on your car doesn't match, so the employee tells you to step into the office to cash out. You pay $43.55 when you should have paid ZERO. All the employee had to do was START by lifting the hood and checking the number. If that had happened, this review would have been quite different. BTW, some of the employees were smoking pot behind the shop, and I'm not thrilled at the prospect of having my car worked on by someone who is high. GRRR! read more

Do NOT take your truck here. I took my dodge truck to them to have them check all the fluids and paid $360.00. Truck went in completely clean and fine. I now have an oil leak that leaked on everything under the truck after they worked on it. I took it there today spokane to manager Doug and they looked at it cleaned off the oil and said everything was fine. So basically saying there's nothing wrong with my truck. That's a lot of money to spend to have your truck come out worse off then when it went in. So nothing was resolved. Told to bring it back if it continues. Really? This place is a joke and should be shut down. I took my car there about two months ago to get an oil change and walked away with a cracked transfer case that they wouldn't claim. They clearly over torqued my fill plug and cracked it. I got home and within ten minutes there was a pile of fresh oil about 6 inches in diameter coming from the transfer case. They were clearly at fault and did nothing about it but lied and said I did it within the time I left their facility and drove home...So far it has costed me $1,000. Not only that but when I took my non-drivable vehicle to Toyota they laughed at how poor the oil change was. If I could give this place no stars I would. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. read more

I came in on a Monday, super quick service the guys were on it and I wasn't the only vehicle. Noted a couple issues that I was aware of and were super helpful. The air filter I had replaced indeed needed replacing and was only 15$. They even offered to vacuum. I went in for an oil change and they recommended a transmission fluid exchange. They said they would give me a deal to do both for 100 dollars. After charging me $130, I asked why and they wouldn't explain it to me. Also, I drove my car from Spokane to Bellingham and my transmission died. I took it to a shop over in Bellingham and they said it was 100% the fault of Spokane Lube and Latte. Their insurance did fix my car, but Eric Paz, the owner, refuses to give me a refund for the $130. Also, there is NO latte. They have sent other customers to a coffee shop down the street that Eric USED to own and tells customers to get their lattes from there even though they have nothing to do with eachother. What a jerk and a horrible business man. I hope this place closes and someone with more of a backbone opens something up. read more

Spokane Quick Lube has adopted the Jiffy Lube "make money at any cost" business model. So consumers need to be aware that they will lie and attempt to sell you many items that aren't needed. They will tell you your air filter needs to be replaced, when it's only 2 months old, 2000 miles old. They will tell you your radiator cap is not holding pressure when that is a laughable lie. They will tell you your transmission fluid is dirty when that's not how you judge that fluid. They will try to replace your cabin filter at a 400% increase over what you can do yourself ($50 vs $10) It's sad that a good business has turned dishonest. They will never get my business again. read more

Been putting off getting an oil change because I have a discount at the dealer. Finally I was way too far past due, and rolled into Spokane Quick Lube & Latte. It's a new business and I thought I'd give it a try. The lure of a free latte while you wait and the "empty bay $5.00 off" sign helped. Let's start with the positives: friendly employees, clean waiting area with a nice paint job, clean restroom, Planet Earth playing on an HDTV. Vacuumed a fair portion of the minivan. Oh, and for the computer geeks, they were running Ubuntu Linux on their POS system. A few downers for my visit though, the barista was not in, so I just got a coupon for a free latte at another coffee shop. Would have made a much nicer wait otherwise. Also apparently the $5 discount was counteracted by the sale they were running? I dislike conflict so I didn't bother to argue. I might be back, but I'll definitely check for a barista being present first. read more

I took my vehicle to get an oil change. The service tech told me I needed my transmission fluids serviced immediately and said it was clear it had never been serviced. About 3 months prior I had it serviced at a reputable shop and was even able to watch the fluid coming out and new going in. I declined the service from Spokane Quick Lube and when I left there, I took it to a third party to check if it really needed to be serviced. They said no and the fluid looked to be in very good shape. The drop of fluid the third party showed me and the drop of fluid Spokane Quick Lube showed me didn't look the same at all. They also said I needed to repair the rock chips in my windshield which was repaired years ago without issue. It's clear they were trying to scam. read more

I made the mistake of taking the car in without my fiancé. There are some minor things that need to be done but when I declined the employees became pushier and I caught one glaring and rolling her eyes at me. I take my car in so that I don't have to look at the engine or deal with it. I don't appreciate being drug out to my car and shown parts to prove they are broken. How would I know the difference? When I mentioned needing to call my fiancé to check they acted like I didn't believe them. It was not a pleasant experience and I'll stick to jiffy lube from now on. read more

Horrible, horrible business! Went for an oil change before a road trip and was asked if I wanted my coolant reservoir flushed and I refused, it being $99.99 and me only wanting the $20 oil change they advertise (in which charged me over $30 instead of the advertised price). Not long after leaving from having the oil change, my car overheats and breaks down on the highway! The next day while checking the fluids, I find that my coolant reservoir had in fact been completely drained out leaving my car to overheat! After contacting the business, the owner himself responded with lies and refusal to reimburse for their purposeful mistake! This company is a scam and will keep scamming while refusing to own up to their bull*** work! read more

The customer service was friendly however, I went in for a simple oil change. They didn't fill the oil up all the way. Cross threaded the plug, and of course the recommended so much more than necessary in an attempt to sky rocket the bill. Convenient doesn't equal quality. I asked prices before I drove my car into the bay and told the guy I wanted the $29.95 package. I made the mistake of showing a $25.00 off coupon to the (different) guy who was putting the requirements of my car into the computer, so he took it upon himself to give me the $59.95 package. They did upsell me on the cabin air filter, but I was OK with that because it was filthy. They used high mileage oil when my car is only at 73,160. Since I was on my lunch hour, I didn't take the time I should have to look over the final bill and question why the total was $113.67 before the $25.00 off. I'm a woman, I was dressed nicely for work, and I drive a nice (used) car. I guess they figured they could take advantage of me, and I wish I had looked at the reviews on Yelp before I went in. read more

Very fast service. I pulled in for a basic oil change and I was out in about 15-20 minutes. Staff was very polite and friendly. They pointed out several issues with my car. I'm not very knowledgeable about cars or engines so I was unable to determine how honest they were being but I felt as though they were simply trying to get me to spend more money unessecarily. My reasoning was: 1. The reputation these "quick lube" places have. I've heard from many different people that they will try to squeeze every penny they can from you, even if it means being dishonest. 2. There are several issues with my car that I'm fully aware of that they failed to point out or offer to fix. I've had my car looked at by some trusted knowledgeable friends who have all given me similar advice. The staff at Spokane Quick Lube were telling me things I've never heard from anyone before. Even when I looked online the things they were telling me I needed did not match up with anything I could find through a simple Google search. 3. Some of the things they offered me were blatantly ridiculous. Even to someone like me who's mostly ignorant about cars. For example, they boasted that I could come in any time I wanted if I got the "Premium Service" rather then the basic service I requested. This is ridiculous. Obviously I can come in anytime I want either way. I had to refuse the extra fees and services about 6-7 times before they just gave me the basic service I wanted. They were very nice about it though. They didn't talk down to me or try to shame me in anyway for refusing their extra services. I'd say this place is fine for a quick basic oil change that's fast and cheap. If you don't mind having to go through the whole "we found this problem" spiel. Just have confidence to refuse their extra services and everything will be fine. I wouldn't recommend this place if you need more serious maintenance. read more

Bad customer service and extremely pushy when it comes to selling you tons of other crap. they heavily pushed a new radiator cap on me and I said no, they said it would fail and leak radiator fluid all over. Two days later my radiator resevior boils over and leaks, the cause? Someone unplugged the radiator fan causing my radiator to fail. That thing didn't unplug itself, shady shady shady place. I would NOT go to them. Also I ended up paying way more than what they quoted and I wouldn't be surprised if they put in inferior oil compared to what they said they put in it. Had my oil changed on 7/9/18 - it cost me $2,000 to replace the rear end of my vehicle because they failed to re-tighten the rear differential plug - the next day I drove to Portland & discovered a rear end leak of oil - took it right in for evaluation - discovered the poor workmanship of Spokane Quick Lube as the cause. They DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK & are trying to dodge responsibility - so I have completed the paperwork for a lawsuit. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I thought the stereotype of mechanics being crooked and decietful was just limited to movies, then I visited Spokane Quick Lube. These guys bald faced lied to me about the cost of their services. After completing an oil change and a sudden headlight change that strangely I didn't notice until I visited this establishment, I was offered to have a small chip in my windshield repaired for $1. $1, that's it, no strings attached. Feeling like I'm being done a favor for my patronage and assured that it would only take a moment I agree. Little did I know they filed an insurance claim with a $250 deductible. This people are decietful, do not use them or they will use you like they did me for a quick buck. Had any mention of insurance or a deductible had been brought up I would have declined. My insurance is now currently opening an investigation into this incident and I hope it will maybe shed light on any other dishonesty this establishment may be employing. I saw their sign that said buy one get one free pertaining to flushes so went ahead and got an anti-freeze flush and my oil changed. I thought for what I paid, about $100 for both flushes, this was a pretty good value and I really needed my anti-freeze changed. I did have some minor disappoints though. When the services were completed on the bill copy, there was no listings of services that were checked, power steering fluid checked filled etc. air cleaner clean, etc. or the conditions of any other aspects of the engine. At other lube places, this is pretty standard. It would be nice to know I thought that everything was ok. Esp. if there were some problems discovered. I also thought that they cleaned/vacuumed the inside of your cars, but I guess they do not. A minor disappointment. Personally I think its a nice touch, to at least vacuum the cars interior. When I was cashing out in the office I didn't notice a price/charge breakdown of what services cost anywhere too. Doesn't mean they don't have one, I just didn't see it. They were busy last Saturday. . Will I go back to this business, yes, I think they offer a good value esp. with the BOGO special, but I felt there were a couple of room for improvement areas. read more

They have the most reasonable price for a basic oil change at $19.99 ($8 extra for an extra quart). The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy, and even though I'm a girl who doesn't know much about cars, I didn't feel taken advantage of. They explained the different oils and prices up front, and told me about other services I may need soon, but didn't pressure me into getting them done right then. I did need a lot of extra services, and they gave me every discount they had (half price fuel injector cleaning, free taillight replacement when I replaced the other taillight, free rock chip repair, ten dollars off the coolant flush). I didn't get a latte, didn't even see where the latte section was, and wasn't told anything about it, but I don't really like coffee anyway. And they were FAST!!! I didn't even need the book I had brought, thinking a fuel injector cleaning, triple headlight replacement, coolant flush, oil change, and rock repair would take awhile. I was in and out in less than an hour. They even started the car and warmed it up before they came to tell me it was done so it was not only clean inside but WARM. I wish I could give less than 1 star. This place is a joke, I DO NOT recommend having anything done here. I went to get oil changes last two time here. The first time they said I needed new radiator cap and coolant flush. And also that I had a brake light out. I took my car to my regular mechanic who did the coolant flush and said my cap was in perfect condition. Also I had no brake light out. I just went back in yesterday and was told again my radiator cap and coolant needed replaced, When I replied that I just had that done and that my mechanic said the cap was in perfect condition they just brushed it off and went to try and scam me. Then I was told my PCV valve was the worst they had ever seen and was probably the original (my car is 21 years old) I just replaced this PCV valve 4 months ago. I also told them that, still trying to scam me. Last I again was told my brake light was out and bulbs were 9.99 and I could be pulled over and ticketed for that. I got home and got someone to press brake while I checked and sure enough my brake lights are all working. I read other reviews on FACEBOOK and i wont be back. Hopefully I actually got a new oil filter. I may go back just so next time they tell me my brake light is out I can say show me. And see what the response is when its working, hmmm. Took my car in there and they changed the oil and that's it, they are supposed to top off the fluids and what not, they never did. Came in with low washer fluid and left just the same way! I have been going to spokane quick lube for quite some time. I have nothing but good results at the valley location. However, I went to the one on northwest blvd and litterally had the worst customer experience in my life. Basically at some point during the oil change, one of the employees set of my anti theft system. So my truck wouldnt start. The store manager did everything he could to try to fix it, and in fact he was extremely professional and curteous. It was obvious that I drove my truck in no problem, but now I was unable to start it because something happened. He offered me a refund but I explained to him the refund would not be enough to cover a tow. He understood and said that he will contact his boss and then he stated that the boss was on the way. I'm thinking, alright, we can get this taken cared of and I will be on my way. (3 hours after i already had paid for a 15 min oil change.) The boss shows up and his name was "TJ", he was so unprofessional he wouldnt even give me his name at first. As soon as he showed up it went all down hill. He immediately stated that they didnt do anything wrong and that they are not responsible and he refused to pay for the tow. I then asked him for the refund, he denied me that, after it had already been offered. At this point I told him I was no longer going to continue arguing and he kept on running his mouth. He stated that if I wasnt out of there by 6 pm that he would have me towed regardless what i say. This is when I asked for his name, he said "there is no reason for you to know my name". He then threatened to have me towed right then and there (4:30pm, 5 1/2 hours stuck). I told him to do what you need to do. He then called a towing company and gave them my info, (which I did not give permission to give out my personal information). They called me, I explained I wasnt going to pay for it so she cancelled the tow. He then proceeded to CALL THE POLICE ON ME, for something that his employees caused. I can assure you, I didnt want to be there what so ever. Thankfully my brother showed up and we had to PUSH my truck to the jack in the box parking so that they wouldnt get impounded. He is the worst part, as I'm pushing my truck this TJ guy is making smart ass remarks like "I make 80 grand a year, *chuckle*", and also "my truck starts up no problem, *chuckle*". How are you going to say that to someone after your employees caused this problem in the first day. In total I spent 7 hours stuck trying to reset my anti theft system, I was threatened with imprisonment and my vehicle impounded because they were unable to rectify the problem they caused. So I guess thats how they do business.. I tried many attempts to contact the owner but I have yet to receive any reply. STAY AWAY FROM SPOKANE QUICK LUBE. Don't go there, my husband went there and had an oil change and filter supposely done. When he got home he noticed his maitenance light was still on so he raised the hood to disconnect the battery for the light to go off and discovered that the oil filter was not in correctly. He noticed that it was completely dirty on the inside and when he looked further what they had done was just turn the filter over with the clean side up and the dirty side down. He immediately went back and they did not hesitate to give him his money back and they didn't even look under the hood to see if he was telling the truth. Never will go there again. I have been their store and their competitors stores...and really...they are all the same to me, all you want is a simple oil change, but you have to remember that they have to sell you a higher price oil (full synthetic or synthetic blend "depends on how much you like your car" = $$$, or a radiator flush, or you radiator cap isn't holding pressure, or you need a new Oil cap, or your brake fluid and or power steering fluid needs to be changed, or your transmission fluid needs to be changed.
