This was my first time at this particular Oil Changers and had a great experience. I arrived at 11:30 on a Saturday morning and was surprised to see there were no cars. Admittedly, I waited too long to finally get this done and so when they showed me the state of my oil and recommended the oil system cleaner I went for it. They also showed me how dirty my air filter was and I also got that replaced. Normally I would refuse these extras but they took the time to explain why these things would be beneficial and did so by showing me the status of my oil and air filter. The full service oil change is $100, the oil system cleaner is $20 and the new air filter was $25. I paid $137 after the $20 promo. It was nice that I didn't have to remind them about the promotion, they automatically applied it. read more

After years of going to the dealer for oil changes, I decided to give Oil Changers in Sunnyvale on Homestead a try. I'm so glad I did! I was warmly greeted by manager Will upon my arrival. I've driven by this place hundreds of times and never saw a line, but of course, the day and time I choose to go, their maintenance man is there refilling their oil, so they shut down for about 45 minutes! Oh well, at least I was able to get some shopping done across the street at CVS while waiting. Finally the maintenance man was done so I came back, and rolled right into one of the service bays. They have 4 lanes so they can operate on several cars at once. But let me clarify - I rolled in WITH THEIR GUIDANCE. The service technician Luis helped direct me so I can drive and end up with my car on just the right spot for my car to be serviced. He was obviously experienced as he knew which side I should park on for my make of car. He then asked me to stay in the car while the servicing happened. I was going to help him open the tricky hood on my car, but he told me I wasn't allowed to get out of my car! Haha, I was almost a bad student! Anyways, the whole experience was great. It was nice to be waited on (heck, I almost felt like I should put my hands out and ask for a manicure!). Plus the team of Will and Luis was awesome - so polite and professional and patient, and Will was super funny, too! I think the whole service lasted no more than 20 minutes. At the end of the service, they chant what sounded like a mantra but it was their checklist to make sure that everything was running and checked as it should be. Luis also helped me (once I drove out of the service bay!) turn off the "Oil Maintenance Needed" light on my car. As for payment, I highly recommend you purchase the Service Card. For $119, you get 3 oil changes + 1 free, so that's 4 oil change services for $119 plus tax - what a deal! And the best part is, you can share the card with your family members! Just know that you have to pay extra if you want full synthetic oil vs. partial synthetic oil, or if your car is like mine and needs more oil than the standard 4-5 quarts. (I had to pay $20.50 more for my car.) I look forward to coming back for the next oil change in 3000 miles! read more

I waited for over 30 minutes to get my oil change. There were only two people working, so I waited patiently. When I was driving in, the manager started yelling at me, "SLOW DOWN, SLOW DOWN!" -- even though I wasn't going fast. After I reached the end of the line, he continued yelling, "I TOLD YOU TO SLOW DOWN, NOW I'M GOING TO HAVE TO REPOSITION YOU!" The customer in front of me looked shocked. I told him I was just going to leave and asked the other employee for the manager -- and he said, "He is the manager." So I left. Avoid this location at all costs, especially if you're a woman and alone. I can't help but feel that if I were a man, I would not have been treated this way. Decided to kill some time while in the area and got my oil changed here conveniently. No wait on a weekday 4:45 PM. I didn't have my credit card on me... but luckily, they took Apple Pay :) Will helped me out and he was friendly. In all, the whole process took about 20 minutes. Very efficient! Everything went well for our first experience at a recently opened location less than 5 minutes from our home. Just needed a basic oil change on our 2016 Corolla which we bought a year ago. We hardly ever drive the car so as a result it's never had an oil change. I didn't want to make an appointment, take it somewhere and leave it, so Oil Changers were perfect. From the second I drove up and was directed to drive into the service bay, I received 5 star personalized friendly service from the entire staff. They changed the oil, put air in the tires, washed both front and rear windshields and topped off all fluids including the wiper washer fluid. I'd just come from getting a haircut and had 50 minutes until I had to teach my classes at De Anza, so I decided to pop in and see if they could get my oil change finished on time. There were two cars ahead of me, but after explaining my time limitation the guy who greeted me yelled to the manager "Hey Will! You up for a challenge?"
