I love Oil Changers in Vallejo by Safeway! They have excellent customer service. They let me know if anything else is going on with my car. I like the fact that they checking my lights to see if they are out so I don't have to pay a fix it ticket from the police which I think is $50.00 plus.They also offer top off services and check my tires.. I have a fleet vehicle that needed to be serviced. Went to Toyota and they couldn't do same day oil change because their technicians were on strike. They actually referred me to Jiffy Lube but JL messed up many times in my wipers and maintenance so i didn't want to go back. I told them I didn't have time all day to wait and they recommended oil changers. I'm glad I came ! It only took 10 minutes even as a new customer. Everyone was super friendly and Noah the assistant manager was nice and quick! They all deserve a raise (at least the once's working today). Hope management sees this and sees the reviews are actually true because these guys care. I've never had a company verify the color of my oil, educate me on it, kept me informed about my tire pressure, check if all my lights, breaks, tire pressure, were working before I left. These people are liars, about six months ago they did an oil change on my vehicle and over charged me on the oil. I specifically said I want Mobil One Synthetic the same one I got last time. When they were done and gave me the bill it said $130.00 when I asked why, they said Mobil One is more expensive, when in reality I have been getting the same service and oil for a while now. It has always been $96.00. I showed him my previous bill and then he discounted $15.00 I did not have time to argue so I just left. Some of the new guys working there think they are very clever, but they are cunning and dishonest. read more

I had an oil change done here one week ago. Today I noticed oil leaking from the bottom. I know its oil because I touched it on the ground. I also confirmed this by placing a sheet of cardboard underneath the car. I brought the vehicle into this location to have them check it out. The first response was its condensation from the AC. When I told them I confirmed oil was leaking from the vehicle his next response was it was probably oil that splashed on the sub frame during the last oil change. Seriously? UPDATE: It would appear he tightened it up real quick while he was checking it out, all the while covering up his error. No more leak but I'm not ever coming back here. UPDATE #2: July 2015, this person has appeared at the Concord location, I reversed and skipped the hell out of there. Sorry Concord, you lost my business to. read more

The service here is great! I've been here twice for an oil change and each time was hassle free. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Today Anthony helped me and he was really great with letting me know what he was doing and he was clear about pricing as well. I'll gladly come here again for future oil changes. My experience was great the team is very hard working the guy in the bottom (I don't remember his name I think it was Clark) took pictures and came up to show me I had a oil leak he told me he had to check the plug to make sure it wasn't coming from the plug which I liked cause I'd like to know what's going on with my car then a obnoxious and rude lady rolled in on the far right of me screaming at the same bottom guy cause I guess she had a oil leak as well and she was like I've been coming here for 3 years I don't have a oil leak but how does she know she don't even know how to do her own oil change she even had the audacity to threatened to get him fired I don't know why customers come in here with a attitude and wanna take it out on the workers that are just doing their job. I feel sorry for the guy in the bottom side no one should have to go through that for doing there job. Of course I LOVE the stay in your car part the most! I ended up getting extra stuff BUT....it was needed! My car is almost 200k miles so I need to do whatever it takes to keep it running! The total time was about 30 minutes and I got windows cleaned and air in the tires....no complaints this trip! read more

I went in because my oil change reminder appeared. I walk up and two very unprofessional techs are yelling prices for services from the hood of the car they were working on. Oil change was cheaper than the place I normally go so I thought I'd give it a shot. I pull up and he direct me to drive my car into the shop. I park where they tell me to and go to get out and the tech tells me I have to stay in the car and just roll my window down. I'm 35 years old. I have never had this happen and the smell in the work space immediately started giving me a headache. The tech asked me to pop my hood and opened it up when the new manager (I found out later) came in hollering at the techs about shoes and pants and this and that. He takes over for the tech and immediately starts up selling me things. I ask him to just close my car up so I can go back to SpeeDees where I am used can drop my car off and sit in the lobby while they work on it and it's actually cheaper after all the adjunctive services this shop tried tack on. Overall the unprofessional behavior, process, and operation here turns me off and I won't be back. read more

If there was an option for zero stars that is what I would have to go with. I went to Oil Changers like I always do..have been for the past three years. I needed to get my oil changed and my transmission fluid changed. When I pulled in my greeting was "what do you need" not how can I help you, so we were off to a bad start. I noticed I had not seen any of the guys working there before and I have been there every 3000 miles for a few years. They change my oil, change my ATF and then tell me I should do the rear dif..I asked how much it was and they said its usually $65 but I will do it for $35. I agreed to have it done. They get finished and tell me ok your done..I hear the other guy saying come on I don't want to be here all night. So I leave and go home which is only a few min away. I look at my receipt and see that they said they checked my lights, cleaned my windows, checked by wiper blades...Ummmm they didn't so any of that! So the next time I get in my car and try to drive I don't even make it half way to the store because my transmission goes out!! I have no gears what so ever and cannot move. I call the store and leave a message and cannot even get a call back!! Now I'm out of a car and they aren't even trying to help me solve the problem which they obviously caused. I don't know what they were thinking to change the staff to these morons that don't have a clue and not customer service what so ever! My clean new transmission fluid isn't even red its brown! I WANT THE OLD CREW BACK! The old manager was awesome and so was the rest of the staff. They always showed me everything they did and were very professional and courteous on every visit. I almost forgot to mention this great deal on the rear dif..remember they stated it was usually $65 but they would give me the $35 deal because I really needed it done...yeah, I looked at my old receipts from the previous manager and the rear dif is always $35!! I will NEVER go there again. I would love to know where the old staff is employed because that is where I will go! read more

Great service!!! I'd like to commend William on his work and great customer service. I normally don't write reviews, but I really was impressed in the service he provided when I had my car serviced for an oil change. As always, they have a record of service done and recommendations per vehicle maintenance, he went through that with me. I decided to get a few things done besides the oil change. When he tried to remove the cap for the oil, the cap was stripped. He told me the only way to get it off was to break it and I would need to purchase another one. Auto zone was close by, and he offered to walk with me, if needed. I thought that went beyond his job. Needless to say, I told him, I would be okay. I had got there about 45 mins before closing and since I was having a few things serviced, by the time I got out of there, it had gone a hour after closing, but William, completed the job thoroughly, without rushing, and skipping steps normally done, like checking lights, break lights, turn signals, etc. I don't think I was ever as impressed with anyone where it prompted me to want to write a review. I am very happy with Oil Changer in Vallejo, CA and the people they employ, customer service makes a difference and keeps customers coming back. Good job William ! read more
