I've been taking my car here for years. Some days you get lucky and there isn't a line, but today the drive through was especially long. Got there a little before 3pm with 8 cars ahead of me. Yikes! I know. Yes, it's a drive thru experience. You stay inside your car the whole time. I sat there contemplating if I should just wait or come back another day. I decided to wait. It went by pretty fast. The employees are friendly, fun and helpful. It's good to see they're working together and having a good time while doing their job. They were playing good music, they even sang along and were in a good mood. It was chill. It took an hour until I was next and my oil change was literally 20 minutes, not bad and a decent price. I came here the last 2 times for an oil change. The first time was perfect. The second time was as well until I was on my way to work and I heard something scraping under my car. I pulled over to check and it was the guard at the bottom. They had not secured it properly. I had my girlfriend bring it back for them to secure it the next day because I had to go to work they said it was already damaged. I wasn't there so I was just happy it wasn't falling off anymore. I just came to a different shop to get my oil changed and they told me the guard is being held up with zip tie and is not safe. I got the car less than a year ago. Where did my bolts go? I don't know but I think they should have let me know that they were going to secure it with zip ties. This just tells me that they knew they did something wrong. If that was not the case the would have let us know they had to secure it with zip ties. Now I have to get a brand new guard with bolts. read more

Recently, I went to my mechanic. He found out I use Oil Changers and he made an off hand remark. "That's the good synthetic stuff. " I did not know this. There you go. My mechanic respects Oil Changers. My previous oil change place uses the good quality nonsynthetic stuff, but they charge pretty much the exact same price as oil changers does for their synthetic stuff. Went for an oil change, but as soon as I pulled up, the first guy for some reason was laughing. That set the tone for that whole transactions, cause I was really about to say, "tf is so funny," but you can tell he's the type to argue with a female. Honestly, it gave they only give quality service to white and black ppl. Cause they really looked like they didn't want to change my oil. I was the only brown one there, straight minority asf, that's what the environment felt like. The interaction they had with the other 2 Caucasians were definitely different. For my 30 years of getting oil changes , I ain't never had to give an id, yet today they needed it for some reason. Kind of made me feel like they was gon call ice, lol. but sucks for them , I was born and raised in the bay. I tipped the guy who you can tell didn't want to do my shit, but he probably was forced to, cause he kept sucking his teeth the whole time, and he think I didn't notice that he didn't put air in the back right tire, but being that he was the only one who worked on my car, I tipped him, cause that's a habit I have for shitty service to. So cause the energy they gave off, was 'we don't like to help your kind, ' I made sure to keep that same ugly energy. Maybe just put a "quality service to whites and blacks only" sign so the rest of us won't waste time dealing with y'all shitty service. I came in for an Oil Change today. I didn't want to wait for hours like you do at other places. I pulled in there was a truck getting an Oil Change, so I was next. There was no line when I got there, Friday late afternoon around 4pm. All 3 spots had vehicles getting serviced, shouldn't be to long of a wait, gave me time to see if I could find a discount on line for my oil change. I was lucky and found several. I just had to fill out the info, email & phone. I was able to get $20 off from Google! YES! I waited about 20 min. Once I was in the spot, I was out of there in about 20 min. Oil changed, put air in my tires, washed the windows topped off my fluids & checked my lights & hazards. I got the high mileage oil change $103.00 with my $20 off. My car is running better. Gone are the days of the oil change under $50. I used to go to Oil Changers in Oakland years ago. Since I live in Vallejo now, and my car needed it, and I had a $10 coupon code, I went ahead with Oil Changers. Their service is efficient, and the technician was very communicative and showed me the items that he suggested taking care of. Two filters were filthy so replaced those. Did a high mileage vehicle change which includes the partial synthetic oil and an additive to clean sludge. The whole process took about 25 minutes, and they give an itemized breakdown of the work and charges. I think the price is fair for the convenience and time to take care of the work. read more

slow workers i have been to this oil changers regularly however this recent visit has been the worst experience. I went in before noon, 2nd in line, had to back up and let a mazda in front because they came before me.. i then waiting behind them. a truck who was waiting with me cut ahead and after that i was trapped waiting two hours and the first line got 8 car through. This place is horrible! Brought my car in for a regular basic oil change. Left and went to my destination, and car started smoking bad from the bottom. Took it back up there and the guy Anthony just sprayed water on the bottom of the car . I'm not a car technician but, I'm in the HVAC trade been a service technician for 16 yrs and I can tell u these dudes have no clue what they are doing. I called there customer service line and made a claim. They have not reached out to me are anything. I don't want these dude's touching my car at all . We will see if they will take care of me or not ! They didn't even offer a refund or nothing! Great customer oil changers . I will keep calling them and leaving messages until they respond and fix's my car . So hopefully they do the right thing , I do not recommend going to this location at all , due to improperly trained technicians. read more

There is a man by the name of Michael, I believe he is relatively new, I have had my oil changed at oil changers for a few years and my last oil change was the first time I ever meet Michael. I have never meet a man who works so hard and take so much pride in whatever he is doing, When I asked him why he takes so much pride in mopping a floor he said he was an Army Ranger and it didn't matter if he mopped a floor or ran a million dollar business, that he would do it to his best of his ability always.In this new computer world it is so s nice to see that people still have that old fashion work ethic and pride. I watched Michael as I was waiting for the shop to open. I saw that there were 4 people there working , I saw 3 of those people sitting down drinking coffee and talking and Michael was setting up shop and mopping by himself. First time here. I was happy to see that it was open on a Sunday. I patiently waited in my SUV for my turn since it was first come first served. The wait was quite long because I came after lunch (maybe an hour). It was worth the wait though. Evan serviced my car and he was very thorough. He recommended what was needed to be done for my SUV. He even checked all my lights (brake, L & R turn signal) the tire pressure (added air), cleaned my windshield and reset my maintenance light. Upon researching we came across Oil Changers and they had stellar reviews so we stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. There was a wait but they had three lanes open. Even with waiting it wasn't bad at all. It went by super quick. When it was our turn, we explained our situation, the gentleman that assisted us was very thorough and honest. I visited oil changers yesterday to get my lexus 350 oil change. The gentleman quoted me a price of $79. I agree. He then asked if I would like his mileage oil. I agree and he added $20, once he looked at the air filter and said this is gone you need to replace and quoted additional $20. Total quoted $120. My car did not have any caution lights on. Once my oil change was completed i asked for a receipt he told me that he did not give receipts however it would be emailed. I thought that was very weird because i receive receipts from them in the pass. I left anyway thinking that y receipt was emailed. No receipt was emailed. What bothered me was 30 min later my check engine light came on and caution lights came on my dashboard. I went back to the location and explained something us not right because more my check engine light and VSC was displaying on dashboard another gentleman told me to pull my care to the side so he can check with the computer. The code P0430 came up which related to catylac converter. My car did not have any sign of problem until i received the oil change. I would like the manger to call me as I requested to speak with manager and he explained the manager was not in. This is absolutely unacceptable that this issue was caused by the person who performed the oil change and I would like this issue fix because my car was fine prior to this. I had used this place for oil changes for over a year and had wonderful service up until my last visit. I guy who handled the service was someone I had never seen before. He was very pushy and was an outright liar and I'm unsure if he sabotaged my car because I didn't want the service he was trying to force on me. If was being very pushy about having my radiator flushed. He said because my car was due for its 100k service that its recommended I do this. I told him no thank you just oil change. Then he shows me my air filter which was stark white because I had changed it a few months ago. I tell him this and he goes well its recommended to be changed every 6 months so... I said again I just changed it 2 months ago so no I'm ok just the oil change. I'm now feeling pretty uneasy because this guy clearly lying at this point. A guy comes up from the bottom to let him know screws were missing from my skid plate. This place is the only people that have touched so I'm assuming they were not put back in the last time I was there. So to the end I leave and everything is fine for about 20 - 25 miles where my starts to overheat. All of sudden my Audi which no way of adding water and needs the coolant is completely dry. Not once did he said my coolant was low, if he had I would have let him do the flush and add more. I was stranded on the freeway and had to have my car towed to a shop. I am actually upset because I had really liked this place but my trust is now gone and I dont think I and return. read more
