Nice people. Poor customer service. They didn't give me the price of the pile service until after they started working on my car. There was no price shown in the shop or online. Then afterwards they didn't give me the discount on the Yelp page. I had to correct them before they try to cheat me again. I'm not a fan of the sketchy business practice. Drove a car up from LA that my bf and I recently inherited from a family member and we figured a good oil change would be needed. Upon researching we came across Oil Changers and they had stellar reviews so we stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. There was a wait but they had three lanes open. Even with waiting it wasn't bad at all. It went by super quick. When it was our turn, we explained our situation, the gentleman that assisted us was very thorough and honest. The fee was very reasonable and I can understand why they are so popular. Time flies by when it's your actual turn making the wait worth it. Will be coming back for my next oil change :). read more

I visited oil changers yesterday to get my lexus 350 oil change. The gentleman quoted me a price of $79. I agree. He then asked if I would like his mileage oil. I agree and he added $20, once he looked at the air filter and said this is gone you need to replace and quoted additional $20. Total quoted $120. My car did not have any caution lights on. Once my oil change was completed i asked for a receipt he told me that he did not give receipts however it would be emailed. I thought that was very weird because i receive receipts from them in the pass. I left anyway thinking that y receipt was emailed. No receipt was emailed. What bothered me was 30 min later my check engine light came on and caution lights came on my dashboard. I went back to the location and explained something us not right because more my check engine light and VSC was displaying on dashboard another gentleman told me to pull my care to the side so he can check with the computer. The code P0430 came up which related to catylac converter. My car did not have any sign of problem until i received the oil change. I would like the manger to call me as I requested to speak with manager and he explained the manager was not in. This is absolutely unacceptable that this issue was caused by the person who performed the oil change and I would like this issue fix because my car was fine prior to this. I had used this place for oil changes for over a year and had wonderful service up until my last visit. I guy who handled the service was someone I had never seen before. He was very pushy and was an outright liar and I'm unsure if he sabotaged my car because I didn't want the service he was trying to force on me. If was being very pushy about having my radiator flushed. He said because my car was due for its 100k service that its recommended I do this. I told him no thank you just oil change. Then he shows me my air filter which was stark white because I had changed it a few months ago. I tell him this and he goes well its recommended to be changed every 6 months so... I said again I just changed it 2 months ago so no I'm ok just the oil change. I'm now feeling pretty uneasy because this guy clearly lying at this point. A guy comes up from the bottom to let him know screws were missing from my skid plate. This place is the only people that have touched so I'm assuming they were not put back in the last time I was there. So to the end I leave and everything is fine for about 20 - 25 miles where my starts to overheat. All of sudden my Audi which no way of adding water and needs the coolant is completely dry. Not once did he said my coolant was low, if he had I would have let him do the flush and add more. I was stranded on the freeway and had to have my car towed to a shop. I am actually upset because I had really liked this place but my trust is now gone and I dont think I and return. read more

Long overdue review: NEVER getting my oil changed by somebody else besides myself again! I thought I'd be nice and get my dad's car oil changed. I arrived about 15 minutes before they opened on a Saturday morning with 5 cars ahead of me. I mistakenly went behind a Mercedes which took a long time and the other lines kept going and getting serviced. I couldn't change lanes and so I ended up waiting for almost an hour and a half when there were only 2 cars ahead of me. One of the guys knew I was waiting and told me that I would get a discount for not being serviced quick enough. Thank you! I appreciated that. I ended up finally getting serviced. No issues there and just went straight home. 30 minutes later, I had to drive somewhere and I started to hear a noise, like something was dragging. I stopped in a random parking lot and noticed the splash shield was falling. I tried to put it back and noticed that there were no screws holding it up. I immediately called Oil Changers and they said they didn't find any screws there and that I could take it back for them to put in plastic screws. I arrived and had to wait in line again (which I understand) and when it was my turn, they said that sometimes the plastic screws can shrink or expand and eventually come off. But this never happened before and the splash shield and the screws had to come off in order for the oil to be changed! So either someone forgot to put the screws back in or the splash shield was put back on and was expected to stay on without screws. I checked the car again and the main screws were still missing and so the shield was still loose! Isn't this a hazard to drive now? Fast forward a week later when I returned the car to my dad. My dad was aware of what happened. About a week later, he said the splash shield came off while driving and had to buy his own screws and put it back himself. He was not happy with me (you know how Asian parents can be), and this was a huge hassle for him when it was supposed to be a favor to him. We shouldn't have to fix a car after it's oil has been changed. To be fair, I don't think this is specific to just this location or this company. I think this is an issue at other oil changing companies as well. My car had the same issue after being changed and I had to fix it myself too. I just decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try it again. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Long story short, just learn to change the oil yourself. read more

Went here for the first time and it was pleasant. The line of cars was short so I decided to stop by, there were two cars in front of me, and I waited about 40 mins until someone approached me at all. They got some information from me and then I waited for the car before me to finish. From start to finish (when I drove onto the platform and off it) I was there for about 20 mins. The staff was professional and easy to talk to. Can definitely see that they all enjoy working with each other. My mechanic was personable and professional, I appreciated the thoroughness of the entire experience. I was surprised at the final total of $90 without an actual explanation of what I was paying for though. I saw on Yelp others ask what the base price was and say that it was quoted $40 and I also saw a $30 up charge for synthetic oil. I would have appreciated a breakdown of the actual costs/billing. Overall though, it was cheaper than the dealer would have been and quicker as well. read more

I have been changing and refill oil at this place. It was really good for years. The last couple time I went here to do changed oil. I told one of the mechanics to put more air on my tires he told me, he did it but I didn't see he was doing it and my tires light on the dashboard still ON meaning was low air. So, I left, I went to pepboys to put the air. Right away the tires light turn OFF! And the tires is good!! I still coming back to this place to refill the oil after the above visit. Usually, I got free refill no matter how much adding the oil. The mechanic told me, they charge me for refill the oil. WTH!!!! Looks like he's a new mechanic they have there now. I am not happy and satisfied. This happening in the month of October 2023. I won't be coming to this place anymore. I hope the manager and the management will do something to the new mechanics . read more

I will preface this by saying I WAS a loyal customer. Not anymore. Arrived here on a Sunday morning(don't go on a Sunday) and there were 7 cars in in line between the two bays. Figure in at least 20 minutes of waiting for each car in front of you. Everyone was moving at a snail's pace. After over an hour, I finally got in the bay. Fat, white dude is half way working on my car and also stepping away to talk on his cell. No one is doing the tires or windows. I see two guys roll up to work. Skinny kid jumps right on doing the tires and windows for the car next to me. He was busting his ass. I got fat cornrow dude. When oil changer got off his phone, he asked cornrows to do the tires twice. Cornrows ignored him and instead went to take a smoke break. He literally JUST got into work and dude goes on a smoke break after I've been waiting for over an hour? In the end, no tires done, no windows done, no reset of oil light, and most likely none of any of the other stuff I paid for. Just oil and a filter. I worked at an oil change place and most of the guys here were just plain slackers. Management needs to do their job and either set higher expectations or fire some people. My guess is neither will happen. Unprofessional. Avoid this place. read more

As a woman, going to get my oil changed on my own for the first time in my life, I felt a bit overwhelmed. This is way out of my comfort but it's an unavoidable necessity. I was worried I would be over charged. But the team here didn't make me feel like that at all. They walked me through every step they had to take with my car and answered all the questions I had. I had a lot! At one point I had to walk across the lot to AutoZone for a new cabin filter. When I returned, they told me that AutoZone had given me the wrong one. One member of the team walked over with me and my old filter to make sure they gave me the right one. Overall this an experience that I'm grateful went so well. So yesterday I went in for an oil change. My car was working perfectly fine before I went in. Last night I drove to Oakland and as I was heading back my brake and seatbelt light came on. I know this is an alternator issue but the alternator had just been replaced on May 4th 2021. If you look at the pictures of the engine oil and the oil on the alternator you will see it's exactly the same. I went back to oil changers this morning and there saying it's not there problem. The service tech informed me what I needed: low on break fluid, which probably means you need new break pads. Your missing the little tire covers, I just so happen to have some handy, can i put them on for free? Can I wash your windows? I think my city hopping days are over! This place is the best place to go for an oil change. Waited no more than 30 minutes and they sent me on my way. Sometimes can take longer if the line is long but I don't mind the wait because the service is the best. They're fast, efficient, and they check all your lights for you too. Another upside is that all staff are super friendly. Hollywood helped me out and we shared some laughs while I was waiting for my oil to get changed LOL.
