Everything about this place is a joke. I brought my vehicle here and specifically asked them to do a Diagnostic on my vehicle so I can fix all that's wrong with it. After picking up my vehicle, I was told their was 1 problem wrong. So I asked them to fix it. 2 days after I notice a issue with my vehicle, so I took it back. 3 times doing taking back and picking up. Them lying to me continue saying nothing is wrong. I get in my vehicle to leave and it started but won't move. I went back into the office and explained the problem and asked why I was lied too. Not once but multiple times. With me here giving them my money for their services, I'm left with my vehicle not only not running right but after getting a second opinion by another shop I found out that my vehicle not only has multiple things needed to be fixed on it. That it was oing to be close to $8,000. To fix. This auto shop has horrible value to customers lying to them about what is wrong with my vehicle and I'm sure to others as well they have done this too. I was looking for honestly no matter the outcome and instead I was lied too. I will not tell anyone to come here, because the lack of concern they care for customers. Halfway between Los Angeles and Atascader, I got some serious warning lights on my Prius dashboard. Pulled off in Camarillo and had the good fortune to find my way to Juan at Adolfo Auto Care. It took most of the day for the needed part to arrive, but I was comfortable and safe in the spacious waiting room using the free WiFi to keep myself occupied. Appreciated the high covid standards. Had some issues with my tumble generator valve on my 2013 Subaru Forester x. Hector took my car in on Friday and gave me an initial diagnosis of the issue and told me they could order the part on Monday. It turns out there were some issues on the dealers end with ordering the part, so hector offered to try quick troubleshooting. He had me bring the car back in reset the code, as well as checking the connection, and after about 30 min, came back to report the issue had (for now) resolved. I read the Yelp Reviews, thank gawd for small favors, and took the car to Juan at Adolfo Auto, who btw is also closer. He priced the whole job, including new brakes and bleeding the lines for about $875. (funny that a car "bleeds") :-) And he did this with a smile and a convivial manner - and kept his appointment time, and got me home in the promised time. -- I've not had a problem since. Because of this, I took the same car in to fix the electric motor for the driver window. Same competitive price, same friendly guy, no problems - and no upsell, a straight shooter. I am not a car guy myself, I'm not even sure I could point out the engine, but I have had two different experiences here, and I couldn't have asked for a better one. I have been looking for a used car to purchase and have had Juan and the guys do two different pre-purchase inspections. And the first time after thoroughly inspecting the vehicle, he pulled me aside and said that it wouldn't be wise for me to purchase the car! Not sure if I know anyone else who would be watching out for me, especially when they could be making money off of my decision! I give the a BIG ZERO rating! VERY dissatisfied! In December, I took m 98 van in because of a leak from a hose. I told Juan that I was going to be taking a big road trip shortly and wanted an oil change and everything else checked out - fuel/oil/air filters, all fluid levels, etc. When I picked up my van I was a bit surprised by the invoice only being $90 - which was for the leaking hose replacement. The invoice also says, "Check for fluid leak front area, check hoses, belts, tires, brakes, fluids, and filters - no charge. Juan told me that everything had checked out fine. After leaving their shop, I headed over the Conejo grade to Thousand Oaks and felt the van missing getting up the hill. On my return trip, I stopped back at Adolfo Auto Care to tell them. Juan told me it sounded like a spark plug wire, that they had checked the spark plugs and they appeared new. He recommended they all be replaced - $600. I would have been okay with that IF just a few hours earlier he hadn't told me "everything had checked out fine". I didn't have time to leave van with them that day. Life happened shortly after and I had to make an emergency trip out of state for a few months (end of Jan - Mar), in which the van was never driven. When I returned and went to go to the store, the first thing I noticed was a new knocking noise from the front of the engine area. Van is now in another shop. Just got a call from that owner. When checking out the knocking noise, he checked the oil level - NO OIL!!! The van has been driven literally 24 miles since being at Adolfo Auto - who was to change the oil but didn't because "everything had checked out fine". Yeah, right. Right now I am very thankful that I was not able to take that big road trip that I took it in for!! read more
