I was referred here by one of my coworkers. This was my first oil change here and they guys are informative and they look like they all have fun coming to work and happy employees are important to me. I never know whats true or not. They bring me oil colors so I can see the difference between my dirty colors and the new vibrant colors I should have. So of course I want my car to run great so im saying yes to every new filter and yes to every new fluid but Im not a mechanic so im trusting them like I've trusted my last oil change place. There is a good energy here and I hope they are doing everything they say they are doing because this is my only vehicle and Im a single mom with 2 teenagers. Between the 3 of us we are constantly going to and from everywhere. So far im happy with the service but I still have 3 guys under my hood. The real test will be how well we do until our next inspection. Based off my experience so far I will be back =). FYI: I was a committed customer to Valvoline Express off of Dyer and Main in Santa Ana but they did something I didnt like during my last oil change. So the last time I was there left a great review but before I drove off the guy brings me a list of all the things they did to my car and the only thing I recognized was Replaced windshield wiper. I knew for a fact they replaced them. They guy apologized and replaced them but now how do I know what else "they forgot" to do? read more

Update: Feb 17, 2026 - We realized today they also failed to fill the windshield wiper fluid. SMH. --- Been meaning to write this review for weeks, but the final straw came today when I found out yet again that the clowns working at this Oil Stop are either a.) incompetent or b.) did the equivalent of spitting in my food for an oil change establishment. 1. I sat through this oil change asking only for 1 thing upon pulling in- please check/fill the air in the tires because I have an alert on the dash that they're low. Literally was told I was all set and go to drive away, only to find the tires were still low and hadn't been touched. 2. The day after my oil change, I hear a grinding of sorts. Upon investigation, find that the plastic piece of the undercarriage was hanging down, not secured in place, and now torn up from the pavement from driving on it. (Mind you, they needed to remove this piece to change the oil.) My boyfriend takes it back, to be told it was "already like that" and when bf asks why they didn't mention it to me if it was already damaged, their response was "well, she's a woman". Unbelievable because shouldn't I be warned of a potential danger? 3. After they secured the damaged piece back, I am now getting an error on dash stating the front camera is blocked. Upon investigation, there is a clear finger print of OIL smeared over said camera. 4. I take the car for a minor repair to my normal place and they inform me the oil dipstick is BROKEN. Now, either these guys did this when they changed the oil, or again failed to tell me it was broken...in either case, they are trash. The funny thing is that the only thing they did to try and rectify anything was to give a 10% discount on my next oil change smh. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. THEY'LL COST YOU MONEY AND ADD A HEADACHE ON TOP OF IT. read more

Incredible service! The few things that really stuck out to me were: - speed of service - knowledge and non-pushy sales - the commentary and hilariousness of the staff. I was cracking up constantly! I would say this is a great option if you are in a pinch. They have great service, and they also provided me with a beverage. The service is very transparent because they don't make a commission off their recommendations. So the service is genuine. This was an oil change. Also though this was a quick stop to get services done, there were great add-ons, topping off my fluids, a free beverage, and a couple to get a free car wash they are affiliated with. read more

The staff are super friendly and professional. They offer beverages while you are waiting. They offer various services to add on, and they are all optional. They were very coordinated, and I felt that I had their attention the whole time despite two other customers they were servicing. Easily got out of there within 15-20 minutes. Got a synthetic blend put in after flushing out the old stuff, along with a new oil filter and air filter. The guys working on my vehicle were friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy. Price was great and service was beyond attentive to all my needs. A simple oil change felt like I was at a NASCAR pit stop. The crew introduces themselves and speaks with clear tone and description. I've been coming here for years.. folks are always cheerful and offer a beverage whilst they go about the business of keeping our Jeep and Honda in good order. Jonathan Borland is the Manager at this location and on May 7th. 2025 during a drive from the desert I had an transmission overheated light illuminating and I took the 2006 Jeep Cherokee to this OilStop in Costa Mesa (where they had several months earlier completed the transmission service) I had resolved the overheating alarm issue by resetting the CPU but to be sure I asked Jonathan Borland's team at this OilStop to fully inspect the transmission unit for leaks, oil top offs and such. Jonathan (and his teammate- German) personally moved us to a previously closed service bay, and completed a thorough inspection In Summary. My passenger and I were offered beverages, the inspection fully passed muster (nice) and Jonathan not only didn't charge me but gave me a free Oil Change Card for future use, Who does that anymore! Been coming to this location for a while and they're always great. I was in here the other day and they were a little backed up. I waited for maybe about 30-35 minutes to get up to the technician, but there were a lot more cars than usual that day. One thing that stands out about oilstop is they're always super professional, courteous and respectful and that goes a long way for me. The manager was also helping out his guys that day, and thanked me for being patient because they were understaffed that day. What is also rad about these guys is they keep the records of all my fluids and what is due, so I was due for my rear differential fluid as well as oil and they were able to get everything done in about 30 minutes. I own a turbo VW that takes Mobil 1 full synthetic, something normally only found within the VW dealer . This place not only carries the correct OEM oil, but their service is unmatched . From the time you arrive, to the time you depart, the crew is friendly , informative and not trying to sell you unneeded services . Today I enjoyed of Starbucks coffee while I waited (20m start to finish) . Places like this can't go away! I don't want to sit at the dealer for 1-3hr just to hear the service manager sell me 3 unneeded services , or hear from a sales person about trading in my vehicle . Topside & Underside teams worked well together; their banter and work-speak is quite a show! The 33-pt Inspection was great, with fluids topped-off & all hinges lubricated. Anthony went over all steps and services, and even gave me a soda. Ron rechecked that ALL services were correctly performed & fluid caps tight. Complete oil change & service was done in under 45mins!
