I can't give Zero stars or I would. I took my car in yesterday for a vehicle inspection & Albert fooled me into paying a higher fee. When I initially asked him for the price he told me it was $135 but then after he completed only the inspection (without completing any work to my car) he told me it was $170 & then when I checked my receipt he charged me $185. I told him he had already told me $135 & he said that now it was $185. He overcharged me for no reason!! I will never come back here. He was dishonest & deceiving!!! read more

Finding a good mechanic these days is so incredibly hard for some reason. Anyone living close to this place can consider themselves lucky. Took my truck here a couple of years ago with an evap issue and I was on a time crunch. Albert was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the team was fantastic - diagnosed and took care of it very quickly and for a very fair price. Evap issues are not that easy to identify either. For context, I took it to 3 other places prior to bringing it here and all three replaced parts that I knew were not the issue (I was able to self test them, even though I have nothing to do with cars, but I trusted them because they are "professionals"). When my service light went on for my Acura Mdx, I figured it was due for some maintenances. I decided to take it into Midas instead of the drive thru "oil change" places or car dealership as I have done in the past. When I took my car in, not only did they do my oil change in a timely manner, but also changed out my front brake bads (which they showed me how worn down they were), and rotors. It didn't even cross my mind about my brakes, so I was glad they pointed that out. Albert stated that whenever they do oil changes at Midas, they can check other areas as a courtesy to make sure everything on the car looks good for their customers too. I appreciated that because it saved me from having to make an additional trip. They currently have some promos going on so I was able to use that discount. Their prices were reasonable not like at the car dealership's prices. Everyone here was nice & helpful, great customer service! i had an oil change and a new battery put into my truck here, and the next day had my low oil light come on right as i got to work and oil was leaking everywhere. i called Midas and spoke to albert (the owner) who jumped right on it stating he'd come to my work that afternoon to have it fixed. i was expecting push back and got none whatsoever. he and an employee met me at work, fixed my oil leak (it ended up being a gasket issue) and within 20 minutes we were up and running again. he chatted with me the whole time and was so kind! because of this i will always recommend midas on bristol in santa ana. great customer service and a dedication to their clients! thank you!! read more

I came in because I had a check engine light on for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. He and his team are very diligent in their work and found a few issues with my car. While it's not a fun experience to have engine problems, Albert made the whole process clear and understandable and for that I really appreciate him. ALBERT and the other technicians must have wings, because these Angel's are truly heavensent. I've been having some issues with a car I purchased. It's a 2002 Eldorado... these guys were able to pinpoint all the issues I was having, and told me what would be needed to resolve the issues. They didn't try to upsell me anything.... they explained everything that was needed, and gave me a list of problems for me to overlook. These guys are prime examples of honest mechanics. Albert and his team is SUPER amazing! We took our Ford C-Max into Tuttle Click Ford Lincoln in Irvine to get it fixed because the check engine light keeps coming on and we were unable to pass smog. Can you believe that Tuttle kept our car for SIX months?!!! On top of that, they didn't even fix the problems. We took it into Midas because we had taken our cars in before and had great experiences there. Why did we not take our C-Max to Midas to begin with? Because Ford was supposed to fix another recall issue. In summary, Midas fixed our car right away at a very reasonable price and our car passed smog. We definitely recommend Albert and his team. Never bring your car to this location. They lied about everything. I almost got into an accident because they did not rotate the tires properly and told me no time to take care of it. It is okay to drive with tires that do not rotate well and will not cause any issues. They put a used tires instead of new ones and charged me brand new tires price. If I can sue them, I will definitely do that. They are scammers. Please do not bring your car over to their place. read more
