I was able to pop into the location for an oil change without an appointment. The employees were super helpful in walking me through all the steps. The lobby was cool and clean which I loved. They showed me my cabin filter and suggested I replaced it and I accepted that and they did the work of replacing that as well. Kendra and her crew were super nice and efficient! She worked it out so that I got a coupon for my first oil change on my f150! Ford dealer was "unavailable" for weeks for a dang oil change! What in the world! Pulled up to Jiffy Lube and was greeted right away! Sorry I didn't catch the name of the man that greeted me! But he was very kind nevertheless. While inside, Kendra explained my options for oil very well. I went with the full synthetic. They topped my fluids and made sure my baby was ready to go! What a fantastic operation. From the moment we arrived, a young gentleman held the office door open for us with a pleasant greeting. Here's a Pro tip: Since we submitted an ONLINE QUOTE REQUEST IN ADVANCE, the technician already knew that we had opted for a "Full-synthetic" service in lieu of their other options (Synthetic blend, High mileage oil or Conventional [petroleum-based] oil). We had the option of waiting in the customer lounge, waiting in the car, or shopping nearby, but the entire process was only 25 minutes and truly a breeze. The icing on the cake was meeting Evian about 10 minutes before the car was ready. She was pleasant, professional, cheerful and all smiles. She reviewed the charges and asked if we had any coupon discounts or if we had any questions or concerns regarding the work performed. Talk about the face of the franchise! Thanks Evian! The dealer said my air filter needed to be replaced, they showed me my filter and said it can probably go another two oil changes. I got right in and out and had no wait! This is a review of Jiffy Lube shop in Tucson, AZ, Shop #1839, July 29, 2024: I went in for an Oil Change and filter on my 2017 Toy-Tacoma, double cab. Right off the bat, the service crew drove my truck into the service pit, dropping the driver side front tire off the drivable surface. I wasn't informed of the accident, and discovered what had happened when I looked into the bay and saw my truck stuck, off-camber in the pit. 45 minutes later the crew had jacked the front end up to extract the wheel-tire. During the work, a jack was misplaced under the "nerf" step tube trying to raise the front wheel out of the pit. This jack-position snapped off the welded step outside of the driver door. The good news is this shop COMPLETED the oil change, and noted the accident on my shop receipt. 2 weeks later, I still have not been contacted by the business owner. I cannot get a name or contact phone # from the shop crew, service manager. All I want is to be made whole. A new "nerf" step tube, repair of the damaged rim and SOME word from the shop owner on how my truck can be fixed. Hopefully in a short timeframe, not months! I will not go back to this shop in the future, and I am not a satisfied customer (even though this shop did complete the service at no charge). My review is 2-1.5 stars/rating. While the staff were courteous, they didn't instill much confidence in me regarding their service. They didn't have the right kind of oil for my Honda Civic (0W-20) which I would think is a pretty common oil, so they put in the next best thing. Then after the oil change, my car would not start. They checked the battery and said it was dead and offered to replace it. I thought it quite suspicious that it would die suddenly after an oil change and denied their offer. After they jumped my car, I had no problems with it starting and stopping several times later that day. While I can't prove it, I do believe they were trying to sell me a battery I didn't need. read more

Has anyone noticed there are minimal recent reviews. One of the slowest "jiffy" places I have visited. Not enough employees or poor scheduling of staff? The staff that were there are friendly and cordial just not enough of them. Our visit occurred while the "person who signs the check" was visiting. (Overheard other employees commented about his visit.). Whether he noticed the delays is uncertain. But I don't think that I am alone in thinking a place called Jiffy Lube shouldn't take 45 minutes for a basic oil change to be pulled in and then to be told they don't have the filter in stock...or at least mention the wait times when the initial greeting occurs when entering the parking lot. I am still not sure what all took place today, but I know I was concerned enough to tell them....never mind. When I arrived, the person who greeted me and took my request was GREAT! I was feeling good about the visit! I went into the waiting room and sat down......and.... (This is when it got weird). I watched the guy behind the counter go in and out of the door at least 6 times, and then I heard the lady sitting next me, who was called up to the counter..... say "yeah, that's not my information...I have a different jeep". OK.....mistakes happen. Then some one came in from the work area and talked about vin numbers being not accurate...and ANOTHER person was involved....(different jeep). The second lady approached the front counter....and she had been there an hour...for an oil change. (as people were trying to sort out the mixed up information on the two DIFFERENT COLORED jeeps)...I asked several people in the waiting area how long they had been there. I heard 45 minutes to an hour from 3 people... It was at that point I told the very nice man who checked me in....I was out. If it was this difficult to check in the correct vehicle...my confidence at the oil change being done correctly....is nil. I backed my car out.....(and they did not even close my hood..... they asked me to pop). Believe me...I have NEVER left a business like this.....yes...it was that ridiculous. Prior to Covid, I've been to the jiffy lube on Ina a few times for an oil change. Nothing extraordinary. It was always get the oil change, pay, and leave. Today I went to this location and I was SO impressed. It literally felt like I was at the doctor for my car. I had a young lady help with the oil change service. I was able to stay in my vehicle and they checked EVERYTHING for my car including the headlights!! They performed the battery test, coolant levels, checked the wiper blades, trans fluid, etc etc etc in front of me and gave me the direct report back.. I know shops always give the paperwork saying "they checked" but to see the amount of time and work and attention they put in to service my vehicle was awesome. It was also super neat because two of the associates there where women who were servicing my vehicle! I loved seeing that and they both did amazing! This is definitely my new place to go to for my vehicles. It was such a positive experience and I was so impressed with the service and honest feedback about my car. This place always has my filter in stock. They are fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. They do try to upsell me, but because I have a Euro car, I explain to them I prefer taking it to a specialty dealer for major work. For an oil change, they are exactly what I need! read more

I am late with this update, I apologize. Jiffy Lube did replace my brake drums and painted them black so as not to rust again. I don't believe Jiffy Lube was responsible for the rust. It is absurd to me that manufacturer of brake drums would make them so easily rusted. Anyway, I recommend this location for any service. read more

Went in October to get an oil change. While waiting two other customers arrived, one to complain about being overcharged and the other with a car that was now leaking oil. As they were finishing the manager asked me if I wanted to leave a "5 star " review so I could get a discount. I let him know I didn't have a phone with me and accordingly I was not given a discount because of it. The next day there was a puddle of oil under the car at home and assuming this was from the excess on the skid plate I took it to the car wash to clean it off. The puddle appeared the next two days and I took it back to Jiffy Lube Oro Valley to be checked. After arriving and being checked they said they had forgotten to tighten something and they were so sorry. Two days later still leaking, brought it back and they realized "someone" had cross threaded the oil filter and they were so sorry next oil change is on us! Today (March 02,2021) I went in to redeem there written "free" oil change. After getting there and waiting for them to finish sweeping they decided to begin the oil change. I showed them the written warrantee and was told anyone could have written this and they would recognize only a $15 discount coupon. The employees are courteous and well meaning but unfortunately the store is mismanaged. Trying to get "5 star" reviews if you do it while waiting and saying they'll make good on leaking cars and overcharged oil changes. Being new to town I hate to go to the Toyota dealer but will now avoid and let others know to avoid Jiffy Lube Oro Valley at all costs. read more

The service was fast and great. However I needed an cabin air filter--it was very dirty. When I agreed he looked it up on the computer, which was turned so I could see it. It showed a price of $65 for that part. I reluctantly agreed because my husband had just been diagnosed with a bunch of allergies. At home I did what I should have done there--looked it up online; the cost runs between $8 and $25. So I got ripped off big time. I won't go back there. read more

If people come in and pay their price, Lord help them!! $89.99 for a synthetic oil change and I can get the oil/filter at AutoZone for approximately $34 and change it myself for free. Now I don't mind paying $20 bucks for labor and the oil used is often recycled for diesel, so there's minimal waste. A complete ripoff!!! Come see me, I'll change your oil for far less and use something better than Pennzoil. read more
