Fast, courteous service... and they did a great job. They did try to upsell a lot of different items like oil cleaner, fuel injector cleaner, and differential and transmission oils. My vehicle is a 2022 with 22K miles on it. It does not need that crap and I will go to the dealer for the CVT maintenance. Most of that cleaning junk is handy for a poorly maintained vehicle with 100K plus on it, otherwise it is a waste. And some auto manufacturers will even void your warranty if you use them! So while the upsells were annoying, the service itself was great. read more

Absolutely wonderful service! Cody, Zachary and Griffin were incredibly friendly and just nice people. I don't usually do the oil changes because my husband is more knowledgeable and they answered questions without hesitation to help me better understand the items they recommended. I stopped by for an oil change. only one person was in each bay. I pulled in where they told me to go. And waited, and waited. The other bay had several cars go through. People who arrived after me were serviced while I waited. Took over 40 minutes to get in a bay. Very frustrating. read more

I have been here 4x since they changed hands. Most times no problems changing my oil. A bit expensive (I own a diesel) - but I think they do a good job and are extremely organized. I used to work for an oil change place and with the volume they do - theres bound to be a one-off problem. I had one here- but Griffin made it right and did not dispute it when I showed the issue to him. They try to sell a lot of add-ons - but just go in knowing what you do and don't need. If I could give a zero star. To make a long story short, we had an oil change here before we left for the beach, while at the beach a couple days later our coolant light came on and our car started overheating. We drove to the closest mechanics, but unfortunately, since it was a small beach town, there was nothing they could do for several weeks. Eventually, we got the diagnostics, which was that they could not find anything wrong. Other than that the coolant cap was not secured (see mechanic invoice attached) Coincidently enough oil stop checks your coolant... I then called oil stop, griffin the Manager requested the invoice as well as a contact for the shop both in which we provided. He then called me to tell me he was told something different and they would not be paying for any of the damage. We we're left stranded with kiddos, My dad had to drive down to get us, we had to get a place to stay that night, my car had to be at the mechanics for weeks and it has cost us around $800 just in mechanic fees. So if you want your car to drive, don't get your oil changed here. read more

Pushy and pricey. Havoline Express was much friendlier and better service. As other reviewers have noted, upsell, upsell, upsell, and "We're not on commission, but do you wanna by XXX". And you have to use the carwash coupon within 30 days. With previous owners, you got a card that was good forever. The whole atmosphere felt oppressive. Oh, and they tried to charge me for All Wheel drive on my car that is only rear wheel drive. Nice try, glad I was paying attention and not paying for stuff I don't have. And the previous biz had all my records going back for several years on all my vehicles. Now I need to find another place to go. And "Our printer is broken so we need your email address if you want a receipt". I am skeptical. Now I suppose I am going to be flooded with a bunch of spam emails. read more

Got an oil change here a couple weeks ago on my Civic. Husband mentioned that they were extremely pushy for extra services. Noticed today that my skid plate was not put on properly and got all bent up from going over a speed bump. Luckily we didn't get very far from our house, so it did not cause any further damage that we know of. We will have to buy a new skid plate and replace it thanks to these guys. From the time I got there all they wanted to do was upsell me on numerous things. I was patient actually said yes to the first thing. Then I'm supposedly done, she asks me to start my engine and keep the rpm's around 3,000, I noticed the engine sounded weird, and my oil light came on. I told her and she said to turn it off, I said is there oil in it? She said I'm doing that now. Another person came over, looked and walked away. No sorry, no nothing. To say the least they should spend more time doing the oil change then upsetting. Then I got home, my boyfriend looked under the hood and noticed the line to the air filter was not connected. Took almost an hour to get through... was behind one car in the bay ahead of me. Nice gentleman greeted me (Gabe) and told me they're "not on commission".... Then tried to sell me oil additive, air filter, etc... I think the car ahead of me bought everything they offered, but an hour is too long. $150 for oil and a filter. Yes my 6.2L V8 uses lots of oil, but I think I will look elsewhere. Too much time. read more

The people that work here are very friendly. However, I do not like bringing in a vehicle that's less than a year old and trying to be upsold every five minutes. They announced at the beginning that they are not paid on commission, but every couple minutes they came around to the window with a new product that they swear your vehicle needs. It's clear that they are going through a multi point inspection and making sure things are done right, which is reassuring. The experience could be improved without all the additives. read more

Employees were pleasant and seemed to do a fine job. However, the use of visual samples of fluids from your vehicle as a sales technique is shady at best! I haven't seen anyone use this tactic in years, because anyone with a basic understanding of automotive tech will understand that color is not an accurate gauge to the condition of a fluid but is effective at scaring people into buying flushes and other services they don't need. read more

This place pretty much is modeled after the Jiffy Lube business model. Upsell..upsell..upsell. In fairness most of these oil change places try selling you goods and services that you don't need. My favorite line was "We're not commissioned salesmen" then proceeds to try to sell or upgrade me on everything...even an oil filter upgrade! That's a first for me. The wait was a little longer than I would have expected, probably because the 2 cars in front of me had to go through the whole sales pitch too? They were all very friendly and offered a free beverage though, i was waiting for the upgrade on that too. At one point I did just tell the guy I know you're just doing your job but all I want is my oil changed, I'm not going to do any of the additional services and he finally got the point I think. Would I go back? Probably not just because I hate the whole "Jiffy Lube Overselling Experience" and I can usually catch a good Groupon deal at the Valvoline oil change place on 99 and not get all the upselling. I tried this place out not realizing they had changed ownership because it's close to my house and it was convenient at the time. Their pricing seems in line with most other oil change places if you don't have a coupon. Another annoying thing they do is give you the window sticker to come back in 3 months or 3k miles when you do a full synthetic oil change ($130) which is good for a year or 10k miles....they all seem to do that though. Places like this I feel kinda prey on the uninformed or easily manipulated people that don't really know what they do or don't need for their car. Way over priced and they take forever. Employees had an attitude. William rolled his eyes when I asked him if he wouldn't mind finishing the windshield wash that I didn't ask him to do but he left half of it the unfinished and dirty water running down the passenger side. Then he left the tire pressure hose connected and the warning beacon was going off in my ear for 10 minutes. When I asked Griffin why it was $170 for an oil change his response was "It adds up quick". What added up? I only received an oil change and oil filter change. What added up was all the bogus nickel and dining charges they tacked on. I'll stick with going to Valvoline in Woodland and would encourage others to do the same. This place is a ripoff read more
