Will not be going back.... Placed my orders online and was told it would be a 45-60 minute wait, and I'm glad I didn't wait that long.... My sushi was like warm and one of the rolls I ordered was wrong. When I called and told them.... Went today and was really expecting something good because I love sushi. The service was very horrible from the time we walked in. We were not greeted and when we asked about seating it was a rude response from the lady working in the front. When ordering the food I was welcomed with attitude because I asked questions about what I was getting. And to top it all off when we paid we were chastised for not tipping (I know that's a controversial topic) because they have to clean the tables and collect the empty plates and utensils. I would have tipped if I received better treatment from the beginning but the way we were treated I was ready to get out of there. You can definitely tell that we weren't welcome. Even with subpar food I still would give this place 0 stars if that were possible. Definitely will be my only time going there. No need to take my money where I'm not wanted or welcomed. read more

Sushi was delightfully fresh. Black samurai roll and the Great Wall roll are excellent for tuna options. We ordered takeout and the restaurant was kind enough to update us on the status of our order. Very cute establishment. read more

Used to be my favorite restaurant in town but the prices have gotten ridiculously high now. What used to be a $10 meal for me is now $15. If you use a debit or credit card, they also charge a 4% " convenience fee" now. As much as I love the food, I'll be avoiding from now on. read more

Not too sure how long this place has been in Jesup, but decided to give it a whirl. Pretty sure this place was a Pizza Hut in a former life but mind you the grease is still there. The walls were just covered over with pepto bizmol tinted paint and dollar store decorations were used on the windows to prevent you from looking outside at reality. The dining experience was compounded by a screaming infant for a good 20 minutes, but I certainly can't fault the restaurant for that, only the inconsiderate parents. Generally speaking the food itself is prepared decently but fair at best. Good for small town Japanese food but what bothered me slightly was the fact that it took almost 50 minutes after the order was taken for it to arrive at the table. I was ok with the timing at first with anticipation of what was to come. I would definitely let things slide if the place was full but a total of 16 patrons did not warrant the resulting delay. Honestly my biggest complaint is that the waitress dropped our checks off at the table well before everyone has finished eating. It would have been acceptable if she had said, no rush, or something of that nature but a different waitress returned to collect the bills within only a few minutes. STILL food on the table and people eating! I have seriously had better service at a Huddle House. In the end if you want some fairly decent sushi and a 2 hour turn around time with drive-thru type service, you might appreciate this place. Keep your expectations low. read more

I don't know what happened in the 2 months since we ate here because the quality tanked.....big time! My wife and I decided on a night out and was very pleased and fulfilled the first time we came so decided to go back...big mistake. We were ushered to a rear table and told we needed to order from the app, they are no longer taking paper orders...?????? So we did and I wanted sushi and even tho the menu had everything listed for 10$ they had check boxes for the included ingredients which made the price double! Very confusing so I left it all unchecked in hopes I ordered correctly...also I enjoy a beer with dinner and not always sure if I wanted another but now ordering on the app we have you pre-order and prepay! Also I found no way to order my wife's tea so we wound up having to pay that separately at the end...we were never checked on because their family had sat to eat themselves and didn't want to be interrupted. I had yakisoba with shrimp and it tasted as if it were cooked in filthy feet water and my wife's vegetable fried rice left something to be desired...by the time I got home I was double over and in the bathroom....no the way I wanted our putting to end up...we won't be back anytime soon...... read more

I'll echo a few of the other reviews by saying I'm shocked to find such great sushi in rural Georgia. My guest and I are from two big cities (Washington, DC and New Orleans) and both thought the miso soup and sushi were outstanding. Very clean and wonderful customer service. read more

Both the hot menu and the sushi menu are fantastic, especially for sushi place in rural Georgia operating out of an old Pizza Hut lol. The owners and the servers couldn't be friendlier. I've eaten here at least 100 times since they opened, I've tried almost every item they serve, and frankly I've never had anything bad to say about the food or service here. Super clean, super fresh tasting, and I'm always greeted with a smile. If there was one critique, it would be that when the restaurant is packed, it can take a while to get your order, but it's always been worth the wait in my opinion. read more

Yes, it was a Pizza Hut years ago but omg, we love their food. In all our visits, excellent food, great service and HUGE portions. I will say, Friday, Saturday please expect a wait. Please realize food is cooked to order so it can take awhile but we just sit, drink our jasmine tea and actually talk to each other. Closed Monday and Tuesday. read more

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday. I have to say this is probably by far the best place you can eat in jesup. We ordered the dumplings and california rolls to start. The dumplings were incredible! I loved those things! I am not usually a fan of sushi, but my husband is. However i really did enjoy the california rolls! I ordered the teryiaki chicken, my veggies and fried rice were really good! But my chicken was kind of dry. My husband got the red curry chicken which he liked but said is wasnt even spicy so that was a little dissapointing. The service was excellence, our waitress was very attentive. Overall we really liked this family owned place and we plan to go back in the near future! read more

I really wanted some good Udon sir died or in a soup and this place was high on the list. The Udon was excellent and flavorful. Price and service were above par. The reason for the loss of star is my friend ordered sushi which was good but the fish had been frozen. I love good fresh sushi and was disappointed at the freezer marks on the sushi. read more

I consider myself a bit of a sushi snob. I've had grocery store sushi and I've had really good sushi, and then there is Oishii. It is phenomenal. A little off the beaten path in a tiny town called Jesup, but their sushi is always fresh and the staff is wonderful. It is family run and owned so you get to know the owners of the establishment. I make it a point to eat there at least once every other week (because sushi is expensive!!!) but it is well worth the price and quality. read more

Best Japanese hands down. Their Sushi is better then any place I've had in South GA North FL. I could eat the fried rice plate fills at the time by itself. Yakosoba is best since Okinawa. I love this place. read more
