Arrived and was seated promptly. When we received the meal the carrots were raw and hard as were the onions. Family environment good food and white sauce. Could improve on the cleanliness.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday. I have to say this is probably by far the best place you can eat in jesup. We ordered the dumplings and california rolls to start. The dumplings were incredible! I loved those things! I am not usually a fan of sushi, but my husband is. However i really did enjoy the california rolls! I ordered the teryiaki chicken, my veggies and fried rice were really good! But my chicken was kind of dry. My husband got the red curry chicken which he liked but said is wasnt even spicy so that was a little dissapointing. The service was excellence, our waitress was very attentive. Overall we really liked this family owned place and we plan to go back in the near future!

I ordered the Teriyaki Shrimp. The meal doesn't come with rice or noodles both are extra. The sauce was over powering.

Excellent sushi and sashimi. Will definitely return next trip. The tuna tar tarki was amazing. Everything was fresh and tasty!

Would recommend all the sashimi! Service was good, and my noodles were great! Amazing to find a place like this, in a town like Jesup!

I'll echo a few of the other reviews by saying I'm shocked to find such great sushi in rural Georgia.

Staff is fairly disinterested. Then the food. Everything that was supposed to be cold was like warm. Including the sushi. Of which the rice was decidedly not sticky, making for fall apart scramble. The one hot dish I ordered was dumplings, obviously deep fried......to death. Then cooked a bit more. Blisters on the dumpling skin gives it all away. Conclusion? If I could rate lower I would. Without hesitation. But alas, I'm out of time and I've got to go find a dumpster to raid to get this less than pleasant taste out of my mouth. Eat here at your own risk. The only upside I can see is that if you have never had sushi, then even grocery store sushi will be a pleasant surprise if you try here first and are still adventurous enough to give things another try.

This is my second time eating with KOBE, the first time was a little worse than this one…read more I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl both times and both times, the chicken is very dry. The rice is very good, it's a shame the chicken was over cooked. When we placed our order it was just after 8pm and the places was a wreck. No one to come out and help clean the dirty tables off or throw the straw trash (or even silverware trash) away. My hands were sticky!! The woman working the register with either her eyebrow or lip pierced had a sour attitude and had no sense of respect. Safe to say I will continue to eat at Seasons of Japan in Brunswick before I eat at this location again!!

That's not a menu, that's a United Nations meeting. I was fully expecting confusion, chaos, and at least one bad life decision. I was wrong. This place is the real deal. Let's start with the sushi. I ordered the Monster Roll, and honestly, I'd order it again tomorrow without hesitation. Fresh, creative, and actually balanced. Not one of those rolls drowning in sauce trying to cover up a bad situation. This one shows up, does its job, and leaves you thinking about it later. Then came the Chicken Panang Curry. First bite? Lights out. Like, pause mid-conversation and reevaluate your expectations kind of good. Rich, creamy, just the right kick. Now, did every bite hit that same peak? Not quite. It settled into just "really, really good" instead of "life-changing," which is still a win. If I had one gripe, the chicken leaned a little overcooked. But the vegetables were perfect and that sauce absolutely carried the dish. Now the atmosphere... this is where things take a turn. It feels like a sports bar that decided one day it wanted to travel the world. TVs going, energy up, and somehow you're sitting there eating curry and sushi like this is completely normal. It shouldn't work. But it does. And shoutout to my server, Woody. At least that's what the receipt says, and I'm rolling with it. She was fun, efficient, and locked in the whole time. I came in expecting a mess. I left planning my next order. Five stars.
