So, I can only vouch for my experience eating Japanese food to state that the tsukemen at Okiboru is just like what I have eaten in Japan, specifically the Kansai region. Being that I prefer tsukemen over ramen, dipping sauce over soup, over the years, I have definitely eaten my fair share of this type of noodle. The broth is a thick gravy that is meaty and dashi-rich at the same time. Not too salty, although slightly bitter at times. What really stands out at Okiboru is their thick and toothsome tsukemen noodles. The texture of these noodles alone keeps me returning. QR code menu and friendly service. Bar style atmosphere at this location. So nice to have an authentic tsukemen shop at the mall. I like to stop by before seeing a movie.

I think I was transported to another realm. and basically ate whole bowl which can be hard for me with ramen (*'o'*) The Curry katsu don bowl was v good! would get again! super fresh taste! ( *w*)b The server was so kind to us and walk us through some options, and the seats were plenty and comfortable!! it's literally outside the mall. Wanna go back so bad!

We ordered 2 flights and since y'all were out of one of the beers my sister ordered the bartender came with one extra just in case she didn't like the replacement (which by the way was a great call because she definitely Preferred the extra over the replacement) We ordered the Crispy Chicken which tbh wasn't the best small plate to order since I ordered the Pork Chashu Bowl it just didn't mix (pork & chicken in one sitting never again. ) but the shocker was I am not a fan of jelly egg yokes but this seasoned egg I actually enjoyed it which was the first and only time I've ever eaten and enjoyed eggs cooked that way my compliments to the chef and recipe creator. My sister ordered the JINYA Tonkotsu Black which I regret not ordering for myself though I did get to taste and loved it ! Can't wait to return again and hopefully we can get to enjoy the outside (fireside) dining . All in all great atmosphere and wonderful staff .

I could have 2 of these and called it a day. Delish. I had the flying harvest veggie Ramen. Asked for it a little spicy and added hot sauce. It's got to be one of my favs. Again the broth is a little muddy for me and there are ramen place with a cleaner broth but very tasty. Love the broccolini and all the veggies. The raw onions are a bit much but good. I do like this place but again a bit pricey. For ramen and buns. But something you don't see often, cleaning. Owning a restaurant is 90% cleaning and 10% cooking. I know cuz we used to own a restaurant.

The pork was moist the bun was soft and delicate. The pork was crisp but not overly crispy. The bun wasn't overfilled and was perfect! I ordered the Spicy Ramen w/ crispy chicken by accident!! How could I do that??? I went for their homemade dipping noodles!! Dang! Anyway, the broth was aromatic and yummy. The Ramen with the fresh garlic (Extra charge but didnt even need it) and the chili paste...was soo comfy and paired really well with the overcast, rainy weather that day. I kept wondering...how does the chicken stay so crisp?? I've dunked it with every bite and slurp!! Gotta try! As I mentioned, I did go back. For the dipping noodles, and unfortunately, did not enjoy them. They were served cold, which I had read, and was served with a warm broth. The broth wasn't "warm" enough to thoroughly warm the thick handmade dipping noodles, for my liking. I also thought the broth was overly fishy for my taste.
