I like coming to Ojos Locos for sports games. The wings are definitely my favorite especially the buffalo and parmesan garlic. I would recommend sitting at the bar because the girls are usually more attentive, and the TVs are right in front of you, which makes watching the game even better. The ambiance can be hit or miss depending on the day, but when there's a baseball or soccer game on, the place is alive and the energy is great. Came in for a drink and a appetizer. My bartender was cute and friendly. Ordered the spicy strawberry margarita and the shrimp cocktail. The drink was delicious and well made. First time coming here and I liked it. I got the ceviche and it was ok. My friend got the Mexico City tacos and those were SO good. I got the Messclaudita and it was delish and strong. My friend got two beers. The service was great , our server was Eve (Evelyn P.) and she was really nice. It was Sunday so it was got pretty busy with the football games. When we first arrived our server seemed like maybe she had just finished with a big party or maybe overwhelmed. She turned that around soon after. She regularly checked on us, told us the status of our orders and was friendly. Good fries, good wings, fresh ceviche, and a great Cadillac margarita. Came to have lunch and a saw a roach on the floor. I stepped on it to kill it, told the waiter and manager. Waiter was nice about it, manager didn't seem to care, didn't talk to us or try to make us feel better about the situation. This is definitely more of a bar than a place for food. It's good for watching a game and having a beer or cocktail, but not for eating late. We came after 9PM on Thursday , and unfortunately the wings and fries were nasty. I was really hungry, so I ate some of em anyway, but I wasn't happy about it. I also didn't want to be a party pooper and leave. Service was another issue--you basically have to chase your waiter, which was very annoying. Have been coming here for a while now. The food remains pretty consistent but the service has gradually gotten worse. They ask for a credit card to put on file and then take forever to bring your food out. The servers always forget things or get your order wrong. Then when you ask for the check they just want you to charge the card on file. If you tell them "no" they take forever to get your bill and then hand it to you and wait for you to pay it right on the spot. After examining the bill I see they already charged 18% gratuity for a party of 3 or more. Service has just gone down hill. I come here a lot less often than I used to. I came here last night to watch the soccer game and the food and drinks and service were good, no complaints, but why are kids allowed inside?? This is clearly a barstyle environment where the servers wear lingerie. I saw babies and kids under 10 sitting there while the girls were going table to table dressed like that. It was honestly uncomfortable to watch. And security was there but not even patting people down. In a place like that? With alcohol and kids inside? That feels careless and unsafe. We got Destiney. from the minute we got there Destiney treated us like we were a problem. we were treated as if we stopped her from going home early.
