I think this shop needs rebranding because the quality of the housemade ice cream was more than OK. It's also a lot friendlier than other sweets shops in the French Quarter. Truth be told, Jamie W and I were actually bar hopping in the neighborhood, but the lure of something sweet, creamy and local shifted our perspective if not our calorie intake. The female owner was quite pleasant and allowed us to sample some of her more uniquely NOLA flavors like Banana Foster and Royal Strawberry Creole Cream Cheese. Both were tasty, but I went with the $9.49 Double Scoop Cone of Rocky Road and Cafe au Lait (Photo 10). The familiar flavors blended well. Jamie acted more like a local. He ordered the $9.49 Artisan Cone Bowl of Bread Pudding/Rum Ripple and Peaches & Cream (Photo 9). That was a tasty treat that managed to be fresh and decadently sweet. It was good to see more tourists coming in as we devoured our cones. She mentioned ice cream sandwiches and milkshakes were her other specialties. Next visit. We stopped by OK Ice Cream while walking back from listening to Jazz on Frenchman Street to our hotel. It is a very clean, welcoming store. The server was very friendly. There were about 20 flavors to chose from. I had a scope of Polly Praline in a waffle cone. I love pralines and they absolutely nailed the flavor. It was delicious with just the right amount of pecans. The waffle cone was very nice also. They had some other options for cones that were interesting, but I was happy with the waffle cone. Others had the Cafe and Brownies and then their version of Cookies and Cream and both loved them. There biggest selling ice cream is bread pudding and rum raison and I definitely hope to try that in the future. Definitely worth a visit!

Promised one of our grand daughters an ice cream. This place delivered! Lots of options and even had a cooler with cold water. A nice option! M Servers were friendly and efficient. When you need an ice cream on a warm afternoon, this place is the place to visit.

Flavors galore! My friends and I stumbled across this place after trying to find an ice cream place in the French Quarter. I love that there's a variety of unique flavors and I ended up going with the Roast Strawberry Creole cream cheese. I'm someone who loves strawberry and cream cheese so I felt like the combination was great. I will say the cream cheese was definitely overpowering with a hint of strawberry, so if you're someone like me, you'll enjoy it. It was a bit on the pricier side, but it was nice little place to try out!

Excellent ice cream shop on the east side of the French Quarter with local flavors. I came after dinner at a nearby restaurant and found the place to be cozy and clean. There really isn't much seating though, so they sort of expect you to order, pay and leave, not in a bad way though. The lady behind the counter was very nice and encouraged me to try several flavors, which I was happy to do. I tried so many I almost felt like I was ripping her off and I had already eaten nearly a scoop worth for free. My favorites were the cafe and brownie and bananas foster. I settled on the bananas foster. This was an awesome flavor for anyone who loves ice cream, bananas, or sweet things. I thought the concept of having New Orleans and Louisiana flavors was a great idea and I highly recommend visiting here when visiting the French Quarter.

After a busy hot day walking through the Quarter we were lucky to find OK ice cream. You would not know this place here because it's hidden away with all the construction. They have a nice selection of ice cream and a couple tables to sit at and rest so we could gathered our energy before we continue on our day.

We are from out of state so we blindly went here after eating at Mona Lisa. I am so glad we did. It was empty and off a quant side street. The vibes were very homey and chill. The woman working was very nice and offered us samples while we perused the many unique options. My son got a rainbow ice cream that was vanilla flavored. It was fun and delicious. My husband and I got a strawberry cheesecake scoop. They are BIG scoops so sharing is definitely possible. Love this gem. If we go back to NOLA we'll visit again.

Cafe and brownies with Cookie Monster

This ice cream was nothing short of perfection. Overwhelmed by amazing flavor choices, I was grateful to be able to sample each one that caught my eye. Though all were absolutely phenomenal, I landed on cafe and brownies with Cookie Monster on a cake cone. Both flavors were on their top 10 list and I understand why! They were each loaded with their delicious toppings, yet the smooth and creamy ice cream itself is what really shines. 5 stars for ice cream flavors, texture, and fantastic customer service. Highly recommend when visiting NOLA!

Top of the line Ice Cream near the French Quarter. Our server was incredibly kind and gladly let us try multiple flavors. Boy was it hard to decide. I went with the bread pudding ice cream because I didn't know if I'd ever find anything like this flavor again! Creole Strawberry was my friend's flavor of choice and it was incredible as well.

So many great and unique flavors, all locally made. I had the king cake shortbread ice cream sandwich and loved it!! Maggie was super sweet and patient with our large group as well.
