Build your own 16 ounce milkshakes with an amazing presentation.

This place is the palace of indulgence. The milkshakes are amazing. They have a great selection of ice creams and toppings. Not to mention their choices of milkshakes! We decided to build our own and the guy making them was awesome. He made recommendations and really went all in on the presentation. The interior is a little rough and had some water leaks going on but it the totally worth it.

This was a fun little mid-afternoon stop for us. We split a strawberry cheesecake shake. It's definitely more cost effective to get the larger one since it's only $1 more. It is messy and somewhat difficult to eat, but it's ice cream so who cares. Service was lacking in friendliness, but we were the only people in the spot so I'd guess there was some boredom in that. The shop was clean and decorated nicely. Not sure I'd spend almost $20 for the strawberry cheesecake one again, but it was a fun stop.

We wanted some treats after a long day of walking around French Quarters and this spot called our name. The ice cream was a really good, the milkshakes and coffee were good but too sweet for my taste. If you like loads of sugary this is your spot! The staff was great and everyone g was nice and clean.

Oatmeal Cream Letdown should be the name.

Day of visit: December 21, 2024 A friend found this place and we decided to give it a try based on the overall positive Yelp reviews but this is the rare occasion that my fellow Yelpers have let me down: This was a bit of an expensive boondoggle. There are a lot of cool names and a fair amount of creativity that went into the shakes, but unfortunately they are mostly whipped cream. $22 after tax and tip for 45% whipped cream is not my idea of a "milkshake." I went with the Oatmeal Cream Dream, which was rang up as "Bananas Foster." I noticed this after I sat down and ran over to the cashier to make sure I didn't get something I had not fixed my mouth for but they assured me that they just "don't have a button for Oatmeal" but I will get what I ordered. While staff was friendly, didn't love the hand-written sign warning of a "10 - 20 minute wait" after ordering, which seems like a giant range, though my shake did not take nearly that long. Too bad it just wasn't all that great...

Just fine, I think. We walked by the shop several times during our stay in the French Quarter; and the branding and design were so cute, we stopped by on our last day in NOLA. It was pretty empty inside, so we were able to place our order quickly and had our choice of seats. Customer service was friendly and polite; we didn't wait long for the order to come out and my mom had enough time to get some cute photos at the stage in the back and go to the bathroom. We ordered the 16oz Rolling in the Cookie Dough to share and it was a very decadent treat! We really enjoyed the flavor, but the experience of actually eating it was kinda difficult. It felt like we got more topping than milkshake. The cookie dough bits are FANTASTIC -- I could honestly eat them by the spoonful, but there wasn't enough, especially for being the main star of the shake. The prices are a bit steep for the amount of milkshake you get -- you're definitely paying for the Insta-worthy photo. I can't say it's the best milkshake I've had, but it was tasty. I can see them getting really packed on a hot summer day.

Custom milkshake with banana pudding and oatmeal crème pie ice cream, marshmallow and caramel topping and an oatmeal cream pie!

There doesn't seem to be a TON of late night dessert options in the French Quarter but Legendairy is a great option. The line was out the door on a Monday night and moving slowly so that wasn't great, but the milkshakes are fire. The custom options give you a little more flexibility if you're not looking for a whole other dessert on top of your milkshake. Everything was delicious!

This place looks nice and the milkshakes look great. We tried an oatmeal one and decided to share it once we saw the prices. I cannot believe how expensive this place was. The people working there were nice and even though it was not super busy it did take a while to get our shake. The thing that really turned me off of the place was the postings of the management of all of the rules the staff must follow along with the repercussions. I know it isn't not an easy job in an easy place but there has to be a better way to manage and motivate.

The milkshakes were amazing! I got the coffee and donuts and my husband got the shake it up buttercup. It does take 10-15 mins after ordering it for them to prepare it, but it was definitely worth the wait! Perfect way to end our NOLA trip.

Absolutely amazing! Clean bright peaceful and these milkshakes?!? Unbelievable! Tasty works of art that are scrumptious creamy cups of wonderfulness! The guy working (didn't catch his name) was pleasant and efficient seemed to take pride his craft. All around great experience!

Superb dairy-free ice cream and milkshakes. I went twice within my four day trip to Nola. Service was quite slow due to being understaffed but the workers were patient and kind. Will be coming back for my next Nola trip.

These are instagram-worthy, decadent milkshakes. They have so many signature options and will also let you customize whatever you want. For instance, I opted for a scoop of their homemade cookie dough and a scoop of strawberry ice cream. Not a menu item, but they were happy to make it. The service was absolutely wonderful. Friendly and accommodating from start to finish. Their cookie dough is unlike a cookie dough that I've ever had. Instead of a traditional chocolate chip cookie dough, it's a sugar cookie dough with chocolate chips in it. All the ice cream is Blue Bell, so it's creamy and rich, as expected. My party got a mint chocolate chip brownie sundae, a shake it up butter cup, and a custom banana split. They were in heaven. My mom said that their bathroom was very clean.

There's a lot of hype around cafe du monde for good reason...I actually came to this location twice…read moreduring my 4 day trip in New Orleans because the beignets here are THAT good. While you're here, I'd say that the cafe au lait is also worth trying. I noticed that the lines tend to be longer in the morning but there was little to no wait at night time. Service is mixed--some workers are really friendly while others seem rushed and are a bit harsher. It is a casual spot and you can pretty much grab any open table to be seated. One thing to note is that it is cash only. Overall, I'd highly recommend this location of cafe du monde!

Anyone who says that Café du Monde is overhyped has not been here! This place was phenomenal!…read more For reference, my only experience with beignets before this was at Disneyland, and everyone told me I had to try Café du Monde. I was a little confused when I first walked up, as there isn't a place to order. You simply sit at an empty table and a server comes to take your order. The beignets were warm, crispy, and covered in powdered sugar. It's hard to explain what they even tasted like because they were just that incredible. I ended up getting them again the next day--I genuinely want to make another trip out here just to have them again. Be aware that it's in a heavily tourist-filled area, but besides that, I loved this spot and will definitely be back the next time I'm in New Orleans!

Though pop-up showers were still lingering, my husband and I decided to take a gamble on courtyard dining--and I am so glad we did! Sheltered under the green umbrellas surrounded by historic brick walls, lush greenery, and rain-kissed citrus trees, the atmosphere was incredibly romantic and peaceful. The courtyard's intimate layout even brought a bit of extra magic to our evening. We sat near another wonderful couple (and their adorable daughter) and became fast friends, sharing laughs and conversation throughout the night. What truly anchored the experience, though, was the incredible service. The staff was remarkably personable, helpful, and welcoming. The dinner itself was excellent from start to finish, showcasing immense culinary skill across every dish. We started with the delicious brussels sprouts and a uniquely seasoned spring/summer gumbo that was unlike any version we've had before (oh, what I would give for the recipe). As for the entrées, the shrimp and grits were phenomenal, and the blackened catfish sandwich with a fresh salad was executed flawlessly...and the bread pudding was fantastic, too! It is rare to find an experience where top-tier hospitality, a breathtaking environment, and great food come together so (seemingly) effortlessly. Café Amélie is an absolute must-visit! We will be back.
