I had a poor experience at OK Massage. There was a huge language barrier. The staff did not understand me very well. I purchased a Groupon and the staff were not informed on the Groupon process. Staff took several pictures of my voucher and made phone calls to another staff member for clarification on how to use the Groupon. It took about 15-20 mins to finally get to the room to start the massage. I asked for a medium strength massage and got a very heavy handed massage which left me feeling sore the next day. I left a large tip and the staff member reported that my tip was too small and demanded that I leave more. I will not be returning to ok massage. read more

Awful customer service, lack of professionalism, and "ok" massage. From the second you walk into this massage parlor, you automatically get the feeling that the ladies hate their job, your presence is undesired, and they're only interested in your money and nothing else. To add to the frustration, there's a complete disconnect with the customer due to the lack of English spoken. This place expects payment up-front before you even step foot into the massage room, and if you're not paying cash, you have to fill in the "tip section" when your card is swiped. I left $5, which was about 15% of the total cost of the massage. This created great confusion with the lady charging me. I still don't understand if she wanted more money or if she could not read how much tip I had left. Subsequently, I explained that I had not even received a massage yet and that tips are earned not voluntarily handed out like free candy. Of course she did not understand a word out of my mouth. The point of this review is, avoid this place unless you're ready to leave a 30-40% tip and don't mind the ill-natured faces of the workers there. read more

We went to OK Massage and had a negative experience. The massage was just "ok"... the owner answered the phone very puffy throughout it but I could look past that. Being pestered by the owner because of how much I tipped was frustrating and embarrassing. The five dollars obviously wasn't enough for him to satisfy him. He said the girls work hard and deserve more money, making me think that he should maybe pay his employees more. When I gave him an extra couple of dollars, he snatched it out of my hands as if he was throwing a tantrum. NOT WORTH ANOTHER VISIT. I recommend going to Lavender in Claremont instead. read more

Serious language issues. I have gone to asian foot and body places for years, so I am used to language barriers. I tried calling to find out their prices (since nothing is listed here nor any website). I tried asking for the price for their "combo" and all I could get was "$30" for what seemed like she said "30 minutes" and then seemed like she said "17 minutes". I then asked for the price for "30 minute foot massage and 60 minute body massage" (a standard combo) and she said "body massage $40". Tried one more time and I got the "$30 for 17 minutes". Plenty, plenty of other options around. I've always joked at their name "is the massage just ok?". Now I will joke at their customer service. read more

My wife (5 months pregnant) and I have been to a few other massage places like this in the area but this one was by far the best. First of all this place is dirty. When I went there me and a friend got the 20 dollar 70 min massage each. Which was only 60 mins. They kept leaving during the massage. My massage therapist was sick. She kept sneezing and coughing. She also was talking through the partion to her friend who was massaging my friend. Totally unprofessional. Then when it came to payment I payed with a card and I left a cash tip. The charge went through a week later and they over charged my card by 30 dollars. DO NOT GO TO this place. Worst experience EVER and we will never be back. I think this place is also a front for sex trafficking and I will be taking to the authorities. He stared bringing me with him and honestly this is absolutely without a doubt the best message place I've been to. I don't necessarily ask for someone specific every time since they're all literally amazing. They care to ask how strong or how soft you want the pressure of the message and the hot stones are not an extra charge. We usually get the full body message for about $40 for an hour and it's well worth it! The people are super nice and it's next to a great sushi spot so it's a win win haha. I carefully read the other reviews before going here. The low price massage parlors are a hit or miss far as a good massage goes. It all depends on who your therapist is and how tired or energetic she is. I went in the final hour. I usually don't do that because I do not want a tired therapist. Well, for $30 I got the best deal ever. The "Combo". I was skeptical. I told the lady to be rough on me. I don't like light-touch massages. The first half of the massage is in a chair while your feet soak in warm water in a room with other therapists and other customers, both male and female. She worked on my face, arms, neck and feet. Then she put what seemed to be plastic socks full of hot oil on my feet, and then rubbed my feet through that. It was great. After about 30 minutes, She directed me into a back room. Back there I laid face down on a massage table (and yes, it was clean, with fresh unused ironed sheets). Then she really dug into my back and neck, along with legs, feet, arms and hands. It had that bliss factor I look for. It had that healing factor I need. She was strong like I asked her to be. (I don't like that gentle rubbing of the surface of the skin you get at some places. There's no therapy in that). This was a great massage. It included some hot stones on my back while she rubbed my feet further. Then she went back to the source of my pain: my back, and really did a very nice job on it. A great deal. I got what I needed, which was a therapeutic massage with strength behind it from an empathetic massage lady. I really needed it too, and low priced massage parlors like this are a godsend when you get a great massage. read more
