This was our first time visiting here, but it definitely won't be the last! When you first walk in, you'll see a menu board with SO many options! I immediately decided on the Red Hot Pepper Chicken Sandwich Meal, which comes with waffle fries and a drink. My partner ordered a Boneless Chicken Meal, which came with the same. We also ordered an order of Cheese Balls but we ate them quicker than we took pictures! Everything was absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy and tender and the fries were perfect. We ate there during their lunch hours (11am-3pm) so our whole meal was under $25. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was very clean! I wasn't expecting much from this chicken spot on Peachtree industrial, but I was pleasantly surprised at how yummy my chicken sandwich was. The brioche bun was so soft and buttery, and the chicken was not too big and the perfect amount of crisp. My daughter had chicken tenders in the special sauce, and she loved hers as well. Okaaay Chicken should change their business name to Best Chicken because it's beyond just ok. I've been intrigued by this place the minute I saw the bright signage go up. Finally got a chance to try them out and I feel I need to shout this place from the Suwanee mountain tops. It's a solid KFC (Korean Fried Chicken), ya'll. This is a must place to try out and come back again and again. The fried chicken was fried to perfection- super moist, pretty good portion and size, and really great flavor. We tried the honey soy, regular, and yang yum (Korean sweet red sauce). Definitely get the Korean pickled radish (an absolute must to pair with Korean fried chicken) and the corn salad if you're a corn lover like me. Packaging for the the chicken is super cute too. Usually when a restaurant has a descriptor in the name, it's a lie. I'm looking at you "Best Teriyaki" and "Thai Delicious"... But the "Okaay" is also a lie because it's excellent. Every time we've gotten food to go, it's been a hit. The Sweet & Sour [Crispy] Chicken Sandwich is my satiating go-to, but I can't forget to get a side of plain-looking cheese balls that surprise you with a burst of flavor and sweetness that's unexpectedly delightful. My wife goes for the tenders or thighs and is smitten with the Sweet Cheese Powder Sauce. She's ready to put it on everything! The place itself is small with just a few tables, but it's clean and the self-order tablets make it easy to grab and go. One minor annoyance is having to give out your email for a receipt. And speaking of prices, while it's not fast food cheap (or fast), the quality justifies the wait and the cost. Our food, including the tenders, burgers, and sides, took about 15 minutes to come out, so ordering ahead using the website helps. Another downside is the side cups of pickled veggies/coleslaw. They're not great, and I wish they had better veggie sides to balance out all the fried goodness so I could at least pretend I'm making healthy choices. But if you have a sweet-tooth and you're looking for a cheat day, Okaay Chicken is a must-try for some awesome Seoul-style fried chicken. read more

If you like KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) - not that other stuff, then you are in for a treat. We are regulars at BB.q and CM chicken and often make the trek down to Pleasant Hill for it but this place is arguably better! The chicken is SO crispy and fresh, it's going to be my new go-to spot since it's right down the street. And right now they have a kids eat free promotion. The employees there were so nice and offered the free kids tenders even though we had already ordered for our kiddo. The only bone in chicken was the wings and the gangjeung sauce was advertised as a sauce and when I asked to have the wings tossed in gangjeung (only bone in chicken they offer) the girl said she "didn't think I could get it in the sauce" WTF? She said only on the tenders. Which it means the wings have been pre-breaded and pre tossed. Gross. Go to those other places the reviews mentioned off pleasant hill.
