My dad's house in El Cerrito was persistently attacked by ants for years and years as all over the Bay Area, and we thought it was simply a lost cause since our theory was that the area was just made up of a bunch of ant hills. If you want to solve your ant problem permanently without paying for expensive toxic monthly sprays, hire Casey! Casey is amazing. He solved my ant problem in one day, and called afterwards to followup, and came unprompted for an in person followup to make sure it was totally resolved. It's been two months since I hired him and the ant problem is completely gone. We had a sudden surge of ants after not having an ant problem for years. We tried all sorts of bait and tried to clean better, to no avail. This problem grew for a few months until I started calling exterminators. All the other companies wanted to sell me on expensively recurring solutions that involved spraying. They also wanted to use pretty toxic materials that meant that my family would have to be out of the house for hours, and I'd have to figure out how to keep my infant child from touching the base boards. Most importantly, the other companies did not promise to remove the ants permanently. (Why would they? They only kept making money if the ants kept coming back!) Casey was the only one who was different. He came and diagnosed the problem, tracked where the ants were coming upstairs from, found where the ants lived in the bushes in front of our garaged, and applied some targeted bait. He showed us where the ants were moving, taught us about their habits, taught us how to apply the bait, and what brand of (cheap) bait we could use ourselves. We saw immediate effect the next day, with gradual ongoing improvement. He called me after a few days, asked about progress, and suggested some followup actions. Very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. He eliminated several wasp nests for me that were deep in a stone wall. His conventional pesticides didn't work, so he tried several until he found the one that would work. He came back several time to make sure that the nests were rendered inactive. We had a mouse problem. Casey was able to come out the same day for a complimentary inspection in Benicia. He took his time inspecting the house and took even more time giving us pointers on what we can do, where the mice are likely coming from, and general mouse behavioral patterns to look out for. After the inspection, he gave us an option to either try again ourselves to catch them or he could come back tomorrow with traps. With Casey's advice and our own sticky traps, we were able to trap all 6 of the mice that has been terrorizing our home! The customer service alone and complimentary inspection is worth 5 stars.
